He was cursed with the ability to see the future by a Kanassa being. He saw the demise of the entire planet of Vegeta, along with most of the Saiyans. He thought it was useless to fight if they were going to die, but the prediction of Goku fighting Frieza gave him the will to stand up to Frieza to try to change the future. He died trying to save the Planet Vegeta, a hero's death. |
