Level 1-Tail Cave
When you enter the dungeon, go left ang kill the two enemys. Doing so will make a chest appear, get the small key from within. Go left again and kill the four enemys, then open the chest and get the compous. Now go right two rooms so your back in the original room. Go up and kill the three enemys within. step on the swith to reveal a hiddin treasure chest, open it and recieve the small key within. Now go right and kill the enemys in this room. doing so will reveal another chest, open it and recieve the map within.( you can view your map by pressing start) Now go up into the one-way revolving door. Kill the enemys in this next room then go right. Now go up and kill the enemys. The only way to do so is to hit all three of them and make them all have the same symbol on them. This will reveal another hidden chest, inside is a stone fragment that allows you to now read the message on the wall. Go back down and left and left again. Kill the enemy then open the chest to get another small key(note: you shoul now have two small keys) Now go left (hint: if you have any bombs, use one to break a hole in the wall on the right, if you don't have any, be sure to come back later) Now go up and kill the bat, now go up again, being careful of the sliding spike on the ground. Now go right, around the wall and back into the same room, but on the other side. Move the furthest block on the left to the right, which opens the closed door in this room. Go through this door. To kill the spiked turtles in this room, hold out your shield and bump into them, this will flip them over giving you an oppurtunity to kill them with your sword. Killing the turtles will reveal the secret stairway, go down it. Go two screens over then up the ladder. Now go up the long corridor and into the room at the end. Open the chest to get the Roc's Feather, that gives you the ability to jump. Now go back the way you came until your out of the. When your out of the underground passage, go right,down,down,rightright,up and left.Open the chest which contains the nightmare key. Now go back right, down, down, right, right. You are now at the mini nightmare, to kill him, jump over the spiked roller that he pushes at you and hit him with your sword. The "cloud" that appears in the middle of the room after you kill him is a teleporter that will bring you back to the entrance of the dungeon. Don't go in it. Now go up and into the door with the big keyhole on it, this is the door to the nightmare's lair. The nightmare is a large worm. To kill it, just hit it's tail with your sword, be careful not to be knocked down the holes along the side of the room |
