| Holiday season is fast approaching - that means brand new crap that you'll momentarily froth for. Things that will last maybe a few seasons. If you're lucky.
With all these new products releasing, it's a tough decision on what to buy. Sometimes, it comes down to what is better than the other. It's a tough pick. Now, when you try and figure out which item of choice is the better pick, doesn't it make sense to find all the faults of each product and decide which looks like it would suit you better? Getting ripped of sucks!
"Just be happy you're getting it!"
"Don't complain."
"Why can't you just be satisfied?
"I'm a corporate zombie that buys in to every re-hash and scam they throw at me.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it important to evaluate the pro's and con's of a product, especially an expensive one, before you buy it? I don't know about you, but I don't just shut up and smile because I feel oblidged to give a company my money. I want to know what is so special about this product. I want to know WHY I need this item. You want to know what gets sand in my vagina? Stuff like this:
BAH! Why do people defend products that are total rip-offs? I've tried hard to understand this stupified philosophy, but I failed. (Note: I liked HCTP...but the game, although it had nice improvements, felt old.) I guess this is why I hate conservative attitudes so much. We, as consumers and citizens, have the RIGHT to complain about things. I complain about things all the time. Here's the thing: I say WHY I dislike something and WHAT needs improvement. For example, I don't say "jockstraps suck!" and then walk out of a room. You know what I do? I enter that room, and I exclaim "Jockstraps suck! they are always pulling on your scrotum tight and they hurt my hard-ons! I think they should make jockstraps with a more flexible material that is long lasting!" Just saying something sucks and abandoning that thought makes you look unappreciative and selfish. If you offer constructive criticism on how you think this certain product can improve, then it actually has revelence.
I follow video games pretty closely. I notice that a lot of people defend products and say such witty comments as "if you don't like it, don't buy it!" or "just appreciate we even get it111". You know what hot shot? I pay 50 bucks a pop for a new video game. I am gonna tear this thing up before I spend my little amount of cash I have on it. Also, if we just sit back and "appreciate that they make it for us", how the hell will the product get better? If the developers see that all they have to do is add a new bell, whistle, or eye patch to make a game sell, what's going to stop them from being un-creative and lazy if they can just put as minimal effort and money as possible in what they make? There are very few people out there that give a crap about integrity. If I was a fat ass in pants woven with dollar bills (and I believed in taking advantage of people), why in the world would I regut a game or product and spend more money when I could just rehash something and add a brand new hat to make it sell? I collect wrestling figures, so I'm well aware of some of the shit they try and put past us.
Some of you bastards must realize that corporations don't give a shit about you individually. They don't hand out their product for free if you like them, they don't pay you money to praise their newest creation. WE ARE CONSUMERS. WE BUY PRODUCTS. THEY ARE OUR BITCH, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. If they make something we don't like, we don't buy it, and they suffer. If they put effort into whatever they make, and it's as good as it sounds, they will get their recognition. Stop humping people who couldn't give two shits about you.
