| I am so sick of people telling me that Michael Moore is a liar. For those of you oblivious as to who Moore is, he's the guy who made Bowling For Columbine and the recent movie that this article is about: Fahrenheit 9/11. Fahrenheit 9/11 is an anti-Bush movie that focuses on how bad we fucked up with this guy in office. You better hurry up and see it before it drops from the few theaters it's playing at. Portage 9 has it, I highly recommend you take a look.
I watched this movie with a few people not to long ago. I went in with tension towards George W. Bush (to say the least) and I left as pissed off as ever. If you pay attention to something other than the mainstream news, you already know why Bush is a terrible president. Moore exposes that and more with this movie. Did you know that before 9/11 Bush and one of the big names in Al-Quida had connections? How about shaking hands IN THE WHITE HOUSE? How about Bush spending over 50 weeks on vacation? Did you know Bush went AWOL in the military? Speaking of military, only one member of Congress has their children serving in Iraq. Hmmm...quite intersting. Also, we had information that stated that Bin Laden was planning to attack with airplanes. It was ignored. After 9/11, the entire Bin Laden family was allowed to exit the United States.
Did you know about the tax shelters? Or how rich people pay so much less than middle class people? These "tax cuts" only benefeit the rich. You may get a few hundred back, but that's nothing compared to what the rich save. It's a complicated process and I'm not a tax expert (I'm 17 in my moms basement), so my information is sketchy. Now that I stated 1% of the reasons I despise our current president (all of which you can learn from this movie if you already didn't know beforehand), I'll get on to the movie and that liar Michael Moore. Moore is called a liar often by conservatists who've never even seen the movie. They hear about it, but they choose not to see it. That would be like me saying "I may have never heard music by The Honkey Dongs, but I know they suck." It helps if you witness the movie. Really, I know it sounds so "left wing liberal media-ish", but honestly...it helps to watch the movie :-0
Why is he considered a liar you ask? Because this entire movie/documentry (he's called it both however) is based in his view. It is very biased. I won't lie about that at all. Here's the thing: keep in mind that what he says is his opinion. He states it, and unless you're a complete fool you'll see it in the movie. There are a few exaggerations, but those are HIS exaggerations. They are based on facts in which it's up to you to decide. It has elements of propaganda. I'm not going to lie, this movie isn't totally fair against our President. Only one side is given: Moore's. He has stated that numerous times. It doesn't matter though: the facts are there. His opinion is there. Some people are so thick-headed that they can't distinguish fact from opinion.
If you're easily manipulated to whatever anyone else thinks, maybe you should stay away from F-911. Michael Moore brings in his view and sways things to his own conspiracies. Guess what? This movie isn't meant to be a news article. It's his view on the damn Bush Administation. Let the man have his view, he's basing his arguements on facts you idiot. If you don't agree with his conspiracies, then don't! It's simple! Also, contrary to popular belief, you aren't an 'UNAMERICAN, TALIBAN SUPPORTIN', TERRORIST WORSHIPPIN', AMERICAN PEOPLE HATIN' communist for watching this movie. I know many people want you to think so. I understand fully, I mean, God forbid that people exercise their right to protest our unjust government. We don't just have a constitution for shits and giggles. Go ahead and protest this movie if you want to. You have every right too, even though you're infringing the mans right to free speech. Knock yourself out you hypocritical assholes!
And Jesus Christ....ENOUGH with the stupid ass "FahrenHATE 9/11" or "Fictionheit 9/11" or the other stupid little puns you try and throw around. How about you grow up and stop sounding like a fucking 4 year-old? "Stupid head!" Any other ingenious little names my conservatist bastard friends? I don't even want to mention the making fun of his weight thing. Everyone seems to love to do that. It's so funny! He's overwieght! Let's all dance and make fun of the man! SO FUCKING WHAT.
