Blue and Red > Tips
1.) To beat Substitute, use Wrap.
2.) Cut is not a good attack. Don't teach it to one of the Pokemon on your team. Teach it to one of the Pokemon you don't use much.
3.) Use stat boosters like Calcium only when your Pokemon are at Level 100.
4.) Don't cheat. If you do, don't battle with cheated Pokemon.
5.) Isn't Hitmonchan cool? Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, NOT! Teach a Dragonite Thunderbolt, Fire Blast, and Blizzard.
6.) Don't touch EXP ALL. You get twice the experience without it.
7.) Always choose the Dome Fossil. Kabutops is better than Omastar, and he's cooler to.
8.) Raise your Pokemon from the lowest level possible. If you have a level 49 Kadabra from the Unknown Dungeon versus a level 49 Kadabra raised from a Abra, you will most likely loose.
9.) Don't use the Pokemon you buy from the Rocket Game Corner. They aren't as good as wild ones. Exception-Porygon.
10.) Don't use traded Pokemon on your team. They are weak.
11.) Moltres is a waste of time. Don't bother using him.
12.) Don't buy a Magikarp. You can fish them anywhere.
13.) To catch a Ditto put a Magikarp at the front of your team. Ditto transforms, and he is easy to catch.
