The Hyrule Loach-This is a 35-pound fish that appears rarely. It can be caught with either lure (regular lure is a bit harder). The fisherman will say that it has to go back into the pond, because it is endangered. It looks more like an eel than a fish.

Butterflies into Fairies-You need to find a butterfly. Then take out a DEKU STICK and try to get the butterfly to land on it. If it worked the butterfly should be a fairy.

3 Extra fairies-Go to a soil plot (where you plant the magic beans), and play te SONG OF STORMS. 3 Fairies should appear to be caught or just to be used right there.

Mario and friends-Once you sneek into where Princess Zelda is (Hyrule Castle) look into the window to the right of the entrance. Use C^ to look all around. If you shoot that window with the Slingshot, you will get a Red Rupee. If you shoot the other one, a guard will throw a bomb out which you can pick up and hold for a short period of time.

Abandoned Gerudo Fortress
(From The Oddyssey of Hyrule)-This trick will cause Gerudo Valley to become completely abandoned! To do this you must have already beaten Ganondorf. When you get up to Final Ganon, he will knock the Master Sword from your hands. Immediately save the game and reset it. Now, when you turn the game on, your green button should be blank. Ride Epona to Gerudo Valley. Go to the Horesback Archery and pay the woman money to play. Equip your Ocarina and when you start to ride Epona, press the C-Button you equiped your Ocarina to. You will automatically dismount Epona. Now press B to stop playing. You can now walk around! The horse race theme from Lon Lon Ranch will be playing in Gerudo Valley! Also, as you may notice, all the Gerudos are gone! There is not one guard! Another strange thing is that if you look at the the entrance to the Haunted Wastelands and the Gerudo Training Grounds, you will notice the gates aren't there either! If you go into the Gerudo Training Ground you will end up in some other place. It's totally weird!

Wet Castle
(From The Oddyssey of Hyrule)-Go to The sign that says Dead End it is right before where you get din's fire. Now at the sign turn to the left and you should see a corner. go to the coner and try to go up a little. (this may take a couple tries you need to walk at it at the right angle) Now when your there press C-Up and look for the polyline and line it up directly in the middle of the swoard icon. Now carefully work your way up the wall slowly or else you will fall and have to start over agian. (this also works in some other places) 6. Once on the grass above where you were head towards the castle don't get to close beacause the poloygon that goes beahind the castle is slippery and will make you slide through the gate. Go to the top of the of the hill and slowly work your way behind the castle. (make sure your on top of the polygon or you'll fall). Once to the edge look to the left and you'll see a stream now run as fast as you can at the stream. At first you should fall but you should end up in some water and swiming towards the surface. Now your there inside the castle looks great doesn't it?

See Through Zelda's Eyes
(From The Oddyssey of Hyrule)-This'll take a bunch of tries; It took me over thirty; But the end effect is really awesome. First step: Beat Ganondorf, make it down Ganon's tower, make it to the final Piggy Ganon battle. Second: Equip deku nuts, megaton hammer, and a fire arrow. Third: Beat 'em up to the part where you can go back and get your sword. Fourth: Instead of getting the sword, walk around the perimeter of the platform until you can get a good view of Ganon's tail flopping around while he's resting. Fifth: Shoot his tail with a fire arrow. Sixth: Ganon should get up immediately, and the wall of fire rises while you are behind it. You should start being bounced back and fourth within the wall of fire (if you are not bounced back and forth in the fire, try again; it was the hardest part of the trick). Seventh: Throw a deku nut; The view should go over to Zelda's position and you should be able to see the sides of her head like in the First Person Link trick. Eighth: Watch Link for the remaining few seconds of his life.

Get The Ocarina Of Time Without Spiritual Stones
(From the Oddyssey OF Hyrule)-This is what you must do. You know the get 20 bottles trick... Before meeting Zelda for the first time... Replace the Fairy Ocarina with a bottle... Now go meet Zelda. When Impa teaches you Zelda’s Lullaby you will not pull out the Fairy Ocarina, you will pull out the Ocarina of Time.

Infinite Gold Skulltulas
From the Oddyssey of Hyrule

This trick allows you to get an infinite amount of gold skulltullas. However, there is a prerequisite. You need to have a Secret Grotto with a gold skulltulla in it when you are a child. First, become a child if you need to. Then, go to a secret grotto with a gold skulltulla. Enter the grotto. Then, kill the spider but do not get the token. Move close to the warp hole that takes you out of the Grotto. Z-target the token and throw the boomerang at it. Right as you are about to get it, back-flip onto the warp hole. You will be outside the Grotto. If you press start, you will see that the token was added to your score. Then re-enter the Grotto. The spider should still be there. Repeat the trick to get as many gold skulltullas as you need. Please note that this is a difficult trick, and you may need to try it many times to get the timing right.

Color changing Gerudo-Once all four of the carpenters are free, change into any tunic. The Gerudo that gives you the membership card will be wearing clothing of the same color as your tunic. Try it with all three tunics.

How to Beat the Bosses
By: Goeffrey Beard (mp5sd5@hotmail.com)

Gohma - look up to the ceiling to get the battle started. When it drops in front of you, shoot the eye with the slingshot when its open,or throw a deku nut at it. When its blue, hit it as many times as possible with your sword.when its on the ceiling,to prevent it from laying eggs, hit it with the slingshot with the open eye.keep doing this over until it dies.

King Dodongo - remember what yoda said? Size matters not!stand on the edge of the dirt, almost touching the lava, and wait for him to stop. Z target him and throw a bomb in his mouth. When it blows, jump attack him with your sword.do this over until he dies.

Barinade - start by Z targeting(for the whole fight)and keep circling it. Throw your boomerang over and over until you kill enough of those things going around it.once it is stunned, hit it with your sword. repeat over a few times.

Phantom Ganon - when he goes through the picture, look at the other pictures. There should be 2 Ganon's.pull out your bow,and aim at one. the fake one will turn around just before it jumps out at you,but the real one will jump at you.when it does, shoot it when its white, and repeat. Once he's off his horse,he will throw sparks at you. Z target, and hit the sparks with your sword back to him, until it blows up in his face.slash him when he falls on the floor

Volvagia - This boss is simple. When his head pops up,hit it with the hammer to knock it down.then hit it again to damage it(jump attack). when he comes out, just keep runing away from him until he goes back into a hole. Dodge the rocks when they fall.Repeat.

Morpha - When it is out of the water, just stay the rooms length away from it so it doesn't throw you. when it goes underwater, use the longshot to grab the ball that controls Morpha(Z target).Keep slashing at the ball until it bounces back into the water. That's basically it.

Bongo-Bongo - Another simple boss. Keeping your bow in your hand, your lens of truth on,and staying Z targeted, shoot his hand quickly one by one. When they turn blue, shoot his eye,and than slash at it.That's it. Really!Watch out for his attacks, though.they take off a lot of health.

TwinRova - When a witch shoots at you,use your mirror shield to deflect the blast to the opposite witch(the one that isnt doing anything)and do that 3 times to the same witch. When they team up, use the mirror shield to absorb their blasts. Get 3 of the same blasts and the shield will fire at them,so be ready to aim!

Ganondorf - He is actually a really easy boss.Once the battle has begun, go to a corner and face him. Use the same strategy as Phantom Ganon. Hit his blasts back to him with your sword, and when he gets hit, shoot him with a light arrow, and he will fall down. When he falls down, go in for the attack. If he starts charging up a big ball above him, shoot him with another light arrow, and attack.

Ganon - It's not over yet!use the biggoron sword, and if you don't have that, use arrows etc. but not bombs/bombchu. First,Z target him, move around him to the left, not right, and hit his tail with something. Keep doing this and you will get your master sword back. This time though,he's too fast. This may sound hard, but you must run up to him(do not Z target)and roll through his legs, quickly slash his tail with the master sword, wait for him to turn around, and do this over and over until Zelda holds him back.

Get 100 Gold Sculltulas Easy
By: tuffhem@earthlink.net

As a kid, go to Hyrule Castle. Go to the tree by where Talon was. Play the Song of Storms (A, Cd, Cu, A, Cd, Cu) and a grotto will open. Bomb the wall that has a golden skulltulla. Kill it but don't get the token yet. Position yourself right by the platform where you came from. Throw your boomerang at the token. While it's on your boomerang, move on to the platform where you came from. It should say: 'You dest' exactly like that. You will pop up out of the hole. Play the Song of the Storms again, and go back in. The golden spider will still be there but you got credit for the last token. This way you can get all 100 and more without having to find them all!

Wierd Music (Expansion Pak Needed)
By: J-dAwG (mr_hanky43@hotmail.com)

Before you turn the game on make sure the expansion pack is in. Turn it on. Go to the temple of time and go back and forth through time. Notice that part of the music is gone.

Play the Ocarina Un-Equiped
By: The Code Master (Nsuleks)

This trick allows you to use the Ocarina while it isn't equipped. First, pause the game and go to the screen with the songs. Choose a grey song (not a transport song, a grey one) and hold UP untill the song ends. When it ends, unpause the game, and move around and press A or any C-Button. You should hear a note (if it holds do it again). Press it again and you will hear another note. You can play all sorts of songs, but it won't count. To take the trick off, use the real Ocarina.
Note: You need at least one grey note song.

Invisible Water
By: Avi Klotz (Gastro7@aol.com)

First you must do the swordless Link trick. Then bring Epona to the big tree in the middle of lake hylia(you can use the bridges to get there), then, while on Epona, hookshot the tree, and press A to dismount epona, now you should be flying. While you're flying move to the area where you usually see a bird (near where the sun comes up). Back against the wall and push towards, and let the bird hit you. Then you're over the wall, and nothings there, but you're still floating and you can swim and their are bubbles. If you put on the iron boots you start sinking. To get out just go back through the wall.

Note: This trick only works on the earlier version of the game where you can do the swordless link trick and the flying link trick.

Crazy Jumping
By: Luke (lambo190@bellatlantic.net)

To do this trick you must have the hover boots. When you have them, go to the frozen Zora's Domain and go up the stairs to the king. On the platform where you talk to the king, do a forward-roll towards the frozen waterfall. When you hit it hold forward on the joystick. Link will start madley jumping up and down.

Play Your Sword Like the Ocarina
By: pc53714@navix.net

Go to a drop off and get a useless item (like a fish in a bottle) and put it on the bottom C button. Then jump off the drop off and push B and the bottom C. If you do it right Link will swing his sword and when he lands the sword will be I his mouth like the ocarina is. It really plays but the pitches are weird. This is very hard to do so if it doesn't work the first time, don't give up.

Make Link Fly
By: Omega (omega_bs@hotmail.com)

How to fly in Zelda 64. First do the trick where you can use any wepon on Epona. When you have that done select your longshot as one of the "C" buttons. Then ride to Gerudo Valley where the brige is. When your there get close to the bridge but not across while still on your horse. Then press the button you have the longshot selected to and aim the dot at the sign that has like an eye on it. When done with that shoot the longshot at the sign (if your longshot doesn't fire get off your horse and fire it a couple times then get on your horse and try again). If you got it to the hook on to the sign and you should still be on your horse, now get off it. If done correctly tou shoul be hovering around. If you want to see him jump real high go to the sign while still flying and he will rocket up and hopefully land in the river.

Note: Do not go to far to the tent because you might hit the ground and you'll get stuck there. Oh yeah the only way to stop flying is to do the jumping thing.

Bats & Skeletons Are Your Friends
By: Adrian (catchris@lida.net) & MJ

This is a neat trick I figured out, while in any dungeon with Bats, Equip the Skull Mask. Now if you where the Skull Mask around any Bats in any Dungeon, you wont get hit by them.

Another trick is as kid Link, if you put the bunny mast on at night in Hyrule Field and the sceletons won't come up and attack you.

Unbreakable Deku Sticks
By: tuffhem@earthlink.net

Go to any place that has a cliff and another cliff beside it. Jump off the cliff with a Deku Stick in your hands. Press the C button that has the Deku Sticks and he will do a double damage swing with it. Half will pop off but you will have half of a stick that is unbreakable!

Use Any Weapon/Item While On Epona
By: MickeyAsh (MickeyAsh@aol.com)

Note: This trick only works in the earlier version of the game.

1. Go and Beat Ganondorf (not Ganon, Ganondorf)
2. As you meet Ganon, he knocks off your SWORD..
3. Save as soon as he knocks your sword off your hands
4. DID YOU SAVE?!? i thought so...
5. Reset N64
6. Go to file you saved
7. Now you will have the sword UN-equiped. Leave it that way
8. Go meet Epona
9. Set up some items on C pad.

Now get on top of epona

There! Now you should be able to use anything on Epona. Here are some cool tricks after doing the above.

1. Play Sarias song and watch
2. Use Bombs
3. Now you can Remotely Control Epona!

1. play song of storms...
2. you should now fall THROUGH epona
3. Walk out of her
4.now move around. (MAKE SURE WIDE OPEN AREA OF HYRULE)

Infinite Bottles
By: SnowBoarder

First go to an area where you catch one of those fish in the water. Select a bottle and equip it to any "C" button. Then swipe at the fish, and before you catch it pull up the "Item Select" screen. Select the anyother item you don't want/need (ex: Claim Check) and equip it to the same "C" button. When you do this you will still catch the fish and get an extra bottle. This can be done with any item on the "Select Item" subscreen. So you can have up to 28 bottles if you wanted. But I only did it to the claim check because this item is useless after you get Biggoron's Sword.

Use the Fishing Rod Outside the Pond
By: ZELDA6t4 (ZELDA6t4@aol.com)

To bring the Fishing Rod out of the Fishing Pond, you need the Hover Boots. Pay the Pond Owner 20 rupees to fish. Then wear on your Hover Boots. Run across the water in the Pond and then cast your line while Link is floating on the water. You will be able to walk around with the line casted. Talk to the Pond Owner without reeling in your line. Put "I want to quit", Then pay him another 20 rupees to fish again. The camera will be in a wierd angle so walk slowly to the door. Open it and your in Lake Hylia. Link will be holding the air looking like he is holding the Fishing Rod. The Rod won't be on his hands though. Save the game before you press B to cast because Link will freeze in place as if he is really fishing when he doesn't have anything on his hand.

Kakariko Windmill Trick
By: Kai A. Schaller (schallek@ccp.com)

When you're an adult and you've gotten the Longshot, go back to Kakariko Village. Use the Longshot on the various rooftops until you get to the one with the purple roof and the guy sitting up there. Walk to the edge facing the windmill, take out your Longshot and look up towards the spinning sails of the windmill. You should see a hole on the front of the windmill. If you don't see it right away wait for the sails to move in case their covering up the opening. In the opening there is a small wooden post which you need to hit with the Longshot. It will pull you to the top level of the windmill. Climb the two flights of stairs and you will find a chicken. I haven't found a purpose for the chicken yet, so I guess it's just there for fun. You can grab the chicken and jump out of the upper opening to have a blast flying around.

Different Ocarina Pitches
By: BAD BOWSER & More64Scott

If you hold down, right, left, or up on the control stick. Or if you hold R,L,or Z button while playing the ocarina the pitch changes. Also except when you hold left or right the game doesn't think you played a song. I don't know if there is a point to this.

Steal Pond Owners Hat
By: More64Scott (pmt@accessatc.net)

When you go to the fishing pond as Adult Link the pond owner wearing a hat. He mentoins about his hair but doesn't say what is wrong with it. Well go to his right and keep aiming at his hat with your lure and casting and soon you'll get his hat!!! You'll find out what is wrong. HE"S GONE BALD!!!!! Give him his hat back and you'll be complimented on your generousity. Cast it in the water and pay Fifty Rupees to him.

Get on a Mountain
By: Eric Doerr (eb2164man@erichad.com)

When you are an Adult, have the longshot and the hoverboots, go to Kakariko Village. Put on the hoverboots and longshot yourself on top of the building where the guy sits. Then Aim at the Windmill and you will see a wooden thing. Aim at that. Then walk up to the top of the windmill. There is a chicken. Grab it and float on to the roof of the shooting gallery. Then float on to the Impa's House (Chicken Barn). Go to the top and run left towards the mountain. Jump and you'll make it onto a mountain! I tried to jump to the other side. I had the distance, but it wouldn't let me get on.
