Market Venue and its potential market:
The National Ecology Center & Mini Forest Park, East Ave., Quezon City (Infront
of Philippine Heart Center)
Other venues shall also be explored and developed in schools, business and
government centers for market exposure.
National Ecology Center (NEC) is a 4.5-hectare mini forest park which boasts of
an eco trail, picnic grove, activity circle, a gazebo for group activities and
thick tree canopy that offers fresh air, and great shade. It is an alternative
venue for family, group or institutional activities. Kids and adults alike can
enjoy bird-watching, a walk in the park or a brief pagmuni-muni under the tree
shades.
It also houses the Zero Waste Recycling Movement of the Philippines Foundation,
Inc., the pioneer NGO in zero waste advocacy. On-going eco-waste technologies and
demonstrations for eco-learning activities are readily available.
National Ecology Center is a strategic venue located at the heart of Quezon
City. It is strategically situated a few stones away from Quezon City Hall with
its 20,000 employees as potential market. East Avenue and its neighboring areas
line up major government offices and agencies such as Phil. Heart Center,
National Kidney Institute, SSS, LTO, DILG, GMA7, PTV 4 and PIA.
Along Matalino St. fronting the ecology centers gate lines up business
establishments, major banks and restaurants. Sulo Hotel is also located in this
street where guests both locals and foreigners can be potential market.
Quezon City Memorial Circle (QCMC), just a walking distance from the venue,
boasts of its crowd of picnickers as potential market. Agencies around the QCMC
include DENR, Dept. of Agriculture, Dept of Agrarian Reform, Philippine Coconut
Authority, Bureau of Soils, Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife, TUCP headquarters,
National Housing Authority, among others.
Hospitals nearby include NKI, Phil. Heart Center, East Ave., Lung Center, and
Philippine Veterans Memorial Hospital. Clients and their families are equally
potential market. Lung Center Sunday market goers are definitely sure clients as
well.
QC also is a convergence of many non-governmental organizations (NGOs), which are
natural market, and potential advocates for the market.
Other immediate market groups are from schools such as UP, residents from nearby
subdivisions and villages. Nearby villages and local barangay units also make a
potential market as they have respective eco-activities
The immediate potential market of Samut-Sari can be tapped gradually as we go on
with the regular market and activities. It is just a matter of informing them of
the existence of the market venue and offering them quality alternatives for a
better life and for the environment.
The market is just around the corner, we just have to set a foothold, make our
products available, and put in action sustained marketing and promotions
activities.
Market and Exhibit Set Up:
Each exhibitor is allotted a minimum space of 2x2 meters. Create your own booth.
Be creative in presenting your booth.
Zero Waste:

advised to make use of eco-friendly packaging of products to reduce unnecessary
waste. It is also advised that each exhibitor provides eco-friendly bags for
purchased items, such as paper bags, bayong, or recycle used bags, old
