Normal Codes

Mist Stone (Tested): Go to the Cinnabar Lab (where you got Omanyte, Kabuto, and Aerodactyl). Go into any room and use the itemfinder 100 times and then press A.
Get all three starting Pokemon: You need two gameboys, two pokemon cartridges, and a game link. Start a game on one of the games (Game A) and start with Bulbasaur. Catch three pokemon and wait in the Pokemon Center. Start a new game on the other cartridge (Game B) and choose Squirtle and trade that pkmn to A for one of the other three pkmn. Restart Game B and choose Charmander. Trade him to A. Restart B and choose Squirtle as your starting Pokemon. Trade him to A. Restart B and start with Charmander. Trade him to A and restart. Game A will have 2 Charmanders, 2 Squirtles, and 1 Bulbasaur. Start a new game on B and choose Bulbasaur. Catch 2 more pokemon and trade those two to A for a Charmander and a Squirtle. Bothe games now have the three starting pokemon.
Clone a Pokemon: To begin, you must have two Gameboys linked. Gameboy A has the Pokemon to be cloned, and Gameboy B will have the Pokemon to be erased because they will get the cloned Pokemon (a weak Pokemon like Magikarp will do. They're easy to catch and worthless unless evolved). Gameboy A will be the first to enter the Cable Club, and the first to trade or this code will not work. Gameboy A will trade the good Pokemon, and Gameboy B will trade the bad one. After Gameboy A gets the bad Pokemon the screen will say "waiting". Gameboy A will turn off the Gameboy the second "waiting" clears off the screen. Then Gameboy B's screen will say "trade complete". The screen won't clear, so you'll have to turn the Gameboy off. Then, restart the game and you'll have a cloned Pokemon! The weak Pokemon will have disappeared because it never really traded (or didn't finish trading). NOTE: This may cause your saved game to mess up!
Stronger Pokeball: Holding Up+B on the D-Pad as you throw a pokeball will hold it tighter and help you catch easier. It will increase a Pokeball to the next level, Pokeball to GreatBall to Ultraball etc. This trick does increase a Pokebal to Greatball to Ultraball, but it does NOT make an Ultraball into a Masterball.
Phantom PC: There is a phantom PC in the Celadon Hotel. You can go to it as if it were a Pokecenter.
Celadon City Slot Tip: All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it's probably hot. If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon
The Invisible Computer: In Celedon City Go to the motel and go to wherethe Com. would be in the PokéCenter and hit a you should know the rest.
To get MissingNo.: go to Cinnabar Island and go into the Pokémon Research Labratory and trade with anyone in the first room. Then leave the Lab and go to the EAST of Cinnabar Island and surf up and down on the part where the land meets the water. Eventually the battle screen will come up and the screen goes black for about 5 seconds. Once you find him I suggest you use a Level 30 to 40 Pokemon. This is because Missing No., even at Lv. 80, has a VERY low defense rating. So get him down pretty low. Even at low he is still extremely difficult to catch. So next get a Pokemon that knows a sleep move and put him to sleep. Follow this up with a couple Ultra Balls and you should have him. Be careful, he has been known to erase games and since he doesn't go on the Pokedex don't bother getting him.
99 of any item: First put the item you want duplicated in the sixth item slot. Go talk to the guy who shows you how to catch a Weedle and say no. After he's done fly to Cinnabar Island and surf up and down on the EAST coast of Cinnabar Island where you are on half land, half water. When you find a Missingno., run from him. Look at your sixth item and you will have 99 of that item.
Easy Kangaskhan: To get an easy Kangaskhan, do the same steps as above to catch Missingno. but keep surfing until you find a pkmn named 'M. He is at level zero so he is pretty easy to catch. Make sure you only have 5 pokemon when you catch him. Then use a rare candy on him. He will evolve into Kangaskhan.
Here is much experience your Pokemon can earn when they are at the Pokemon Daycare Center. For every step Ash makes, that Pokemon gets one experience point.
For extra damage, hold A button when you it shows your attack (example: Gengar used night shade) Hold until other pokemon's life stops draining.
An easier way to catch Safari Zone pokemon is to go to the grass where that pkmn appears and then go surf on the right side of Cinnabar Island so you're on half land, half water. You should run into those pkmn.
Fight 100+ Level Pokemon: Perform the 99 Items code above, then after encountering 'M, keep surfing around for a while and you will run into Pokemon that are Lv 135 and above! It is possible to capture them. What's so valuable about this trick is that you might just run into Bulbasaurs, Charmaders and Squirtles! However, some copies of the game can do this better than others, and if you use the Pokemon in a battle other than a 2 player battle, it will revert back to a Lv. 100 Pokemon. Still, defeating these high level Pokemon is a quick way to earn up to 3000 Exp. Points!

Gym&Elite Tactics

Brock: Use water or grass Pokemon against this rock trainer.
Misty: Use grass pokemon or electric to defeat this gym leader.
Leiutenant Surge: use a rock or ground pokemon and he's toast.
Erika: Use fire pokemon or flight against this plant lover and shatter her dreams of fighting you again.
Sabrina: Use bug or ghost against this psychomaniac and she is a goner.
Koga: This poison pokemon lover will be deafeted easily by using psy pokemon.
Blaine: This fire trainer will use fire pokemon against you so you can use water or ice.
Final boss: Giovanni, the team rocket leader, is the final gym leader - use water, ice, plant and he's out of there (and talk to him again and he says something to you).
In the Indigo Plateu you find 5 pokemon masters. Use this pokemon lineup for a better chance of success:

Defeating Sabrina When you enter the Saffron City gym you'll see a warp next to a trainer. Step into it. You'll appear in another room full of warps and a Trainer. Step into the warp on your left. Then step into the warp below you. Then step into the warp on your left. And then, step into the warp on your left. Once you've done that you'll come in to a room with one warp and that's the one your standing on. Now talk to the trainer in the room, and get ready to defeat Sabrina. Here are the Pokémon she will use:

Kadabra - L38
MR. MIME - L37
Venomoth - L38
Alakazam - L43
These are all phsycic Pokémon and very powerful. Your best bet against these guys is a Venusaur or other grass-type Pokémon. Use your Razor Leaf if you have a Venusaur.

Bill's Secret Garden (NEW!)

First to get to the secret garden where you catch alot of cool pokemon have an evee, flareon, jolteon, vaporeon, and 2 geodudes on your team . At bills place in cerulean on his computer it has his a display of 4 pokemon on his computer. In that order of those pokemon on the computer is how you order your team and have the 2 geodudes on the bottom. Then look them each 50 times, then talk to bill and he will give you the location of the secret garden.

Easy Pokemon Over Lv.100

Yes this deals with gameshark, it is only posted here because there are other steps too..After you get to viridian city and can buy stuff....turn on your GAMESHARK and type 01A37CCF and the ifinet money code.Buy the item thats called "Name?" and go to the right at the the last pokemon gym in viridian city...get by the door and go left and when you do the press start and look at your pokemon...then cancel you should walk in the door...now use the "name?" Item to warp all the way to govuanie whatever his name is and youse that 999 max attack,defence.speicial,hp,and speed code...then when you beat him you will get the earth badge..then use rare candies to train your pokemon to level 100 all before to get to MT.MOON! I hope I explained this good

HOW TO HAVE PROFFESOR OAK AS ONE OF URE POKEMON!!! IT WAS REALLY AN ACCIDENT ON HOW I DID IT,HE DOESNT END UP IN URE POKEDEX OR ANYTHING,IT JUST CHANGES THE LOOK OF THE POKEMON IT CHANGES: 1. Infinite Health(Another way, that works)(NEW!)

To get this cocde to work you need to look at the other codes submitted to pokemon neon by my good friend john., well here is what he told me in school... If you get a pokemon over level 100 up to level 255 with rare candies than after level 255 to level 0. Than from 0 raise it up to 99 or 100 and it will have infinite health, (READ WHAT IT SAYS ABOUT USING ITEMS ON HIM AND THE POKEMON CENTERS.) And he restores his own health. But read the other codes by him before trying this.

Invisible(NEW!)(Scince you have to do alot i put it in here, even though you use gameshark.)

In gamshark type: 823FFF3D
Then when it starts up..just click "A" twice as you normally do(the screen will be blank) Then when it shows the area that your in...UR INVISIBLE. You can still talk to people but when you talk to them, it's just blank. And when you go to a poké center to heal your pokemon, the pokeballs that nurse joy puts on that thing are also invisible. The start menu is invisible too. Not to much help for the game though but still fun. (It shouldn't mess up your cartridge. Just click the button at the top of the gameshark to exit.)

Duplicate Pokémon(NEW!)

A way to duplicate a pokemon a friend of yours has-first you need two game boys, 2 version of the game (even same color) a game connector and a friend to trade with.

first you go through the normal trade sequence and say yes and trade to everything. then, after both pokemon have been transferred, it will say "waiting...", then the game that has the pokemon to be duplicated turns the game off after one second. one the other game it will say trade complete. then the player that gets the good pokemon turns off his game. both players turn their games back on again and both players will have the cool pokemon.

WARNING: THIS CODE DELETES THE "UNCOIL" POKEMON THE PERSON RECEIVING THE "COOL" POKEMON TRADES, SO MAKE SURE THAT IT IS A POKEMON YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT!!!!!!!

Get yoshi (proven to work)(NEW!)

both players must have beatin the elite four and have 150 pokemon then red version trades a dratini to blue version blue version evolves the dratini to dragonite then trades it back to red red then goes to unknown dungeon where mew was located use a fire stone on dragonite (it will say not able but do it anywayz) the screen will glitch then say what dragonite is evolving

still has all the same moves as dragonite but looks like yoshi and is pokedex #. 999

Super Powered Rydon, Rydon over level 100, Infinite health(NEW!)

SUPER POWERED RYDON:
1)Go to viridian city and go to the guy who tells you how to catch a weedle. When he asks you are you busy say "Yes", then talk to him again and say, "No". After he shows you how to catch a pokemon, fly to cinnibar island.
2)Surf along the right side of cinnibar so that you are half in the water and half on land. Then fight and capture a "MISSINGNO." (level 138 works the best. level 138 are actually stronger than level 146)
3)Go to your box on the Pc and deposit one of you pokemon and then hit "Withdrraw Pokemon" choose "MISSIGNO." (like have 6 pokemon with you so "MISSIGNO." is tranported to a box and then deposit one and continue code.)(BUT DON'T ACTUALLY WITHRAW HIM) if you tap the button once you will have a menu saying "Withdraw, Stats, and Cancel" Look at the stats twice before withdrawing again.
NOTE: now you can teach your new "MISSINGNO./Rydon" all of Rydons attacks, tms, and the game WON'T glitch durring battle. Also, Rydon will still know water gun water gun and sky attack. Which can be taught normally. (I'm not sure if you have to give "MISSINGO." , a grass pokemon nickname.)

RYDON OVER LEVEL 100:
1)Refer to the code below about unlimited items. If it doesn't work for you for some reason simply kill a "MISSINGNO." After you have infinate rare candies by using the code bring "MISSINGNO./Rydon" up to level 192 (if you have caught one at level 138)
NOTE: Unlike any other pokemon over level 100, your new rydon will NOT go down to level 100 after a battle, if you raise your "MISSINGNO./Rydon" above level 192 however, it WILL go back down to level 192 after a battle. Also you can give rydon ALOT of HP UP's, Carbos, Calcium, etc..

INFINITE HEALTH:
1)Take your new rydon using codes above, or any pokemon over level 100 that you find on the coast of cinnibar. For "MISSINGO./Rydon" raise its level to 192 but not over 255 (level 215 works well) using rare candies. For other pokemon over level 100 use rare candies to raise its level to about 150.
2)Get into a battle and carefully lower its life to about 25. (Your pokemon MUST be poisoned.) When its your turn donot atttack. Instead play the pokeflute continustly. Once your life is about 25 win the battle, it will say you grew to either level 100 or level 192 (for rydon). However scince your health wne below 0 after it does this lowering or raising of the levels the game will mess up and make your life bar get HUGE and your life will now be MAXIMUM out of this HUGE bar.
NOTE: If you go to a pokemon center and heal Rydon the infinite health will go down to what it regularly should be. And it will also freeze, if you use a potion or healing device so dont use any. You can ONLY use "Full Heal" to get health and unpoisoned and etc.. also you should get unlimited Max elixers to restore your PP. Also if your life bar goes down, it will automatically go up when it reaches the half way point.

Catch a Trainer (NEW!)

to catch trainers: go talk to a tranier for instance Giovanni, beat the trainer then surf along the coast of cinnabar island.(the right coast) within 10 minutes, u should see a maiising no. at leval 0. catch him and beat the elite 4 6 times. go back to cinnabar and there should be the trainer u first talked to.(in our case, Giovanni.) get him/her down to little life then attempt to catch it.

all you do is use the item finder in mt. moon 100 times (make sure that it is all in different places, or it doesn't work)and on the 101 time it will respond. when you find the item it will be an egg. after you play long enough the egg will hatch and presto! you have a togepy!

Another Pikablu Code

You have to find the bottle first. The bottle is in the waters somewhere. It changes for each quest of the game. The ones that I have heard are Cerulean Water, Cerulean Gym, Power Plant water, I found it under the Waters of Unknown Dungeon. You will get it when you TELEPORT back to the Cerulean City Pokemon Center. Once you teleport back it will say that you found a bottle! After you find it go to the items and select it. It should give you a message on where Pikablu EXACTLY is. On mine it says the middle of the waters of Seafoam Islands. I went there and teleported and I found pikablu. For somereason I did not teleport back but I got him. Then I moved to the right and it telported and I found a mist stone. Some people say they found it by battling it. I don't know why maybe when they surfed to that spot a battle may have actifated it. Or maybe it was a cable link fight. I don't know.

POKEMON FACTORY
To get to the factory beat the Elite Four 30 times without talking to anyone in between exept the indigo plateau Nurse Joy to heal your pokemon Ont the 30th time proffesor oak will say "I getting tired of this. Just explore a little." He will let you walk around the hall of fame room. There are pictures on the walls and a door on the far side. Go in the door and it will take you to a new city. In the city is the pokemon factory and people that will trade you pokegods for other pokemon!

OTHER WAY
That's the fastest way. If you have nickname you can warp on top of the doors and then walk forward to get the the next room. Then at lances room surf on the statue beside him then warp on him the walk into garys room then walk past gary.

PIKABLU
TO GET PIKABLU ANYTIME GO TO ROCKET GAME CORNER AND GO WHERE GIOVANI WAS. TALK TO BOTH GUARDS AND THEN LEAVE AND BEAT THE ELITE FOUR. AFTER YOU BEAT THEM TALK TO THE GUARDS AGAIN THEN GO AND TALK TO PROFFESOR OAK. HE WILL SAY "GIOVANI WAS LOOKING FOR YOU!" SO GO OUTSIDE AND GO UP TO YOUR ROOM IF GIOVANI ISN'T THERE YET GO CATCH SOME MORE POKEMON THEN GO BACK. WHEN HE IS THERE HE WILL GIVE YOU HM06. THEN GO AND JUMP BEHIND THE SECRET HOUSE IN THE SAFFARI ZONE AND USE ITEM FINDER. IT SHOULD BEEP THEN USE YOUR POKEFLUTE AND PIKABLU WILL APPEAR. TALK TO HIM AND YOU WILL GET IN A BATTLE. I SUGGEST SAVING YOUR MASTERBALL FOR HIM BECAUSE OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO PARALYZE HIM FREEZE HIM BURN HIM AND PUT HIM TO SLEEP POKEGODS

Chrona-Mew: Use Mew and Mewtwo to beat the elite four and then give them each the lightning stone (Not Thunderstone!) and they will disappear and in there place will be chrona-mew!
