 Destined to become a Pokémon master. Ash knows he has a lot to learn. He won't give up until he has become the World's Greatest Pokémon Master.  Jesse and James, accompanied by their talking pokémon Meowth, are always foiled in their plans to steal Ash's Pikachu. Their evil plans to gain fame and fortune and become a member of the Pokémon league have also failed.  The youngest of four sisters, Misty joined Brock and Ash to develop her own unique Poké training talent. Her newest baby Pokémon, Togepi, thinks Misty is its mother.  Leader of the Pewter Sity Gym, Brock's specialty is rock Pokémon. Brock has had plenty of nurturing experience with his ten younger brothers and sisters and uses that to raise all different kinds of Pokémon.  Professor Oak is the ultimate authority on every Pokémon. He studies them and helps beginning trainers get started. He also discovered Mew, the 151st Pokémon.  She has been in a few episodes. On the very first episode she got shocked by the lovable Pikachu. She has a Mr. Mime which she got in the episode; Mr. Mime time.  Nurse Joy is an expert at caring for sick and injured Pokémon. Nurse Joy or one of her cousins are in every town or city.  Reliable Officer Jenny plays by the rules. She protects Pokémon and their trainers from evils like Team Rocket.  Ash's biggest rival, Gary has over 200 Pokémon and has been learning about Pokémon from his grandfather since the day he was born.         |
