| XTW held it's show DEAD or ALIVE on February 22nd, 2002 in Yonkers, NY. It was a short event with only three matches but they were very much worth the show!!! This event made quite an impact on the Revolution as XTW moves forward in its new stage!!! The show saw TWO NEW Champions crowned!!! XTW chose to have its main event be the opening match, something they've done numerous times before, between Nightmare Kane, "Hitman" Bobby Whittle, and SiK for the XTW World Title. This was yet another classic 3-WaY and another stellar match for XTW as each man pulled out all the stops!!! In the end, Nightmare Kane shattered three light tubes over SiK's head and nailed the X-Clamation Point onto light tubes for the 3 Count and to finally capture his first ever World Title!!! SiK then grabbed the belt from Kane's hands and then strapped it around him as the two superstars shook hands as the crowd cheered the three men and SiK walked off bleeding with partner Bobby Whittle. Next up RoZ faced Lil' Chris Kronic and Internet Champion Johnny Mayhem with the title on the line!!! Mayhem put on a great performance as he, RoZ, and the odd man out Kronic put on a strong match!!! In the end however, the three TWF members were called in by RoZ as they jumped Mayhem and RoZ put him out with a devastating Tombstone for the 1,2,3 and to become the NEW Internet Champion!!!! The final match saw the Black Circle Boyz and Ruckus in a Triple Threat match!!! This match was another strong performance from all three newcomers but in the end, the highly impressive Nook hit his Circle's Edge on fellow Black Circle Boy, Silly Psycho, for the win!!! |
