X-files walkthrough

Introduction & help:

Whenever an X comes up in the bottom right hand corner of your screen it means that you can either, pick something up, push or pull something or do something like Scully’s autopsies and experiments.

Always enter in the codes before playing or loading game, even after you switch off your console and come back to your game, write them in again. (Cheats can be found on the cheat’s page)

Go to ‘Controls’ page to see how to work your player.

To type in the cheats, from your menu, go to ‘options’. Then ‘Game settings’ then ‘cheats’, type them in there.

RED FALLS

Well as Scully is getting attacked by a killer zombie you start off nice and out of danger… for now. Go straight towards the view of the camera. Then go right into the small kitchen. There’s a man there chopping some meet up, press the X to ask him for a phone, not that he really answers.

Go into the rest of the kitchen and take the Aid kit off the wall along with the rag, the white rag that looks a nit like toilet paper. Exit the kitchen and go passed the way you came in, look for a woman sitting down at a table and ask her what happened, he just shakes her head. Go down passed her then right, you’d soon get to a phone, press the X.

Mulder walks out and see’s the lady going crazy, she’s now a zombie. Get out your gun and kill her, then take the aspirin bottle that she dropped. Go back to the kitchen and go passed the dead guy, he comes back to life just like the woman, kill him then take his door key and exit the kitchen again. Go straight and you’ll get to a door, open it with the keys to get outside.

A cat runs passed but lucky enough it isn’t a zombie… yet. Go into the rest of the area for a phone call:

“Scully you all right?”
“Fine Mulder, I heard gun shots”
“As things like this have a lot to be desired, I guess you has the same problem as I did”
“The deputy had some kind of psychotic episode, I was treating him and he…”
“Died. Scully?”
“I thought I lost his pulse, but… he certainly wasn’t dead while he was attacking me”
“Look the front door to the diner here is blocked but I will take a look around back”
“Mulder we need to find the Sheriff bad Smith maybe he knows what the hell is going on”
“I think we know Scully, we need to find Katlyn and Mandy Winslow before this place turns into the thriller video. I’ll meet you at the Sheriff station. I’ll keep trying for an outside signal but at least the two way radio still works.”

Go to the left or right hand side of the big bin and push or pull it to gain access to the open gate. Take out your gun and go through the gate. Run as left as you can and go around the corner of the shop. You’ll hear a noise. There’s a open toilet door and by it is an icebox. Open it to release a zombie cat, run a few steps away, turn around and kill it. Go back to the icebox and take the aid kit that the cat was guarding.

Now go into the open door for a brief cut scene. Mulder see’s Katlyne Winslow, a version of here. A zombie takes her place. Now kill three zombies. When you where by the icebox earlier there was a dead man on the ground… he came back to life as a zombie.

Go to Anne Dawn’s gutted and disfigured body in the toilet and take her licence. Exit the toilet and run let to a car. Open the door and take a full gas can. Now go into the gas station’s shop and then go behind the counter. Pick up a 9mm clip ammo and a gas station note. On the stable left from the counter is a map, take it. Go left passed a door that won’t open by a drink machine and save your game on the cross on the door.

Now exit the shop and run passed the car that you got the gas can from and onto the main road. Run down till your console loads the next part…

Take out your gun and kill a zombie on the other side of the car. Go around the car and continue down the load killing four zombies along the way. No doors open except for the video shop. Two zombies out of the four dropped 9mm ammo. Go into the video shop that’s near to a fire and a car, the cars on the right and the fires on the left, enter into the shop.

Keep your gun out. Walk a little forward and there’s a cubicle of videos. A zombie is hiding in there; he’ll jump out onto you. Kill him and enter the cubicle although there’s nothing you need here, you’ll hear Mulder say something like “Ta, ugh…Ass Lover 36 is out all ready”

Exit the cubicle and you can put away your gun. Go around behind the counter and enter into the private office there. Take the gate clicker from the table on your left. Now go on the right side of the sofa there and push it to reveal a small locked gate. Now exit all of this back outside.

Now you’re back outside, from here go right. Go all the way back to where you killed the first zombie by the car. Near by there’s a gate, Mulder says that it’s electrically locked. Once the X comes up again select the gate clicker from your inventory and enter passed the gate.

Plenty of zombies need a meal in this area so walk forward and kill a zombie to your right hiding behind the first van. Keep going up and kill another zombie behind a white mail van. Now go through and enter into the bar called Bulls Horn. Get your flash light out and scan the area. When something flashes you can pick it up. In this first part there’s a beer bottle on your left. Now turn around and go right of the pool table and go behind the counter there, pick up another 12oz beer bottle. You can explore this area a little more if you wish.

Now to the left side of the room is a door that doesn’t want to open. Go left from that door and enter into the woman’s toilets. Go and open the toilet door and take an aid kit off the floor.

Now go next door to the men’s toilet. When you get close enough. A zombie comes bashing out from behind the door, kill him and take his 9mm ammo clip.

Now exit the toilet and go up the stairs into a new area. Go to your right, there’s an open able door, there’s a zombie behind it but there’s nothing in there at all, and he doesn’t drop anything, so if you want you can kill him or leave it. Go next door to that door and open it up, there’s nothing in that room. The next and final one needs to be opened from the counter. Go to the counter down right and pick up the lighter on the right shelf. There are two switches here, one releases two girl zombies and the other opens the door. The first switch on the left releases the girls, kill them. The end one of the counter opens the door. When you’ve opened it, take the ammo from the bottom of the counter and enter into the room and watch the videotape…

Gruesome! Not very nice!

Now exit Bulls Horn. Take out your gun and go near the white mail van, a zombie comes flying out of it from the back, kill him and take the package in the back of the van. Then take the post office keys that he dropped.

Now exit this area out through the gate. Run all the way back, passed the video shop. You’ll properly see two fire zombies fighting in the fire. You kill them; they come right back to life in a matter of minutes, so keep on going till your console loads the next bit…

Take out your weapon and kill about 4-6 zombies in this area. Go into the centre and a short cut scene come on…

“Mandy Winslow, they killed her”

The people of the village hung her believing that she was responsible for all the disasters happening… WRONG!

You get the keys to the trailer, there’s a dead guy sitting on a bench, take his post office front door key. Now go running out and around and look for some double doors that say ‘Red Falls Post Office’ on the glass above. Enter with the keys you took.

From here go right, to the P.O boxes. Stand in the corner and open the P.O box and take a package. Now go to the other side of the room and go through the door killing the zombie and take his gun… I don’t think he knew how to work it so take it from him.

Go through the next door, as there is nothing else that you need in this room. Go into the double doors and run down towards the computer. Stand on the left side of the computer chair and take some ammo, now stand directly behind the chair and save your game.

Exit back through the double doors, now go right around the corner and in the Letter trolley pick up the master P.O box keys. Now go back through to where you killed the zombie and took his gun, go through into the next room. Now right there, the first P.O boxes that you see make Mulder walk against them and open two P.O boxes and take two packages. Go to your inventory and open them there, you should get an aid kit and some ammo, don’t forget to open the third package that you received earlier on.

Now go back to the room where you got the P.O box keys and look for an un-opened door, go through it to exit to outside.

Getting closer!!! Take out your gun and start making your way forward towards the camera. You’ll see a dead guy lying on the ground by a streetlight; there are zombies around that corner waiting for you. Go around and kill the zombies. Follow the road (The camera view must be showing from in front of Mulder so that you can’t really see where you’re going)

You kill approximately 3-4 zombies. Let your console load. Now you’re in the next part of Red Falls and closer to meeting Scully. Kill a zombie coming from your left by a car. Run up the right side of the car and follow the rest of the road killing a killer fireman. Keep going to the end and kill another zombie around the corner to your left, keep going till you get to the last building called the ‘Red Falls Sheriffs Office’. Enter here.

Now keep your gun out and run forward. Run into the clear doorway and face left, kill the Sheriff that’s trying to kill Chaco:

“First they’re rising from the dead, then they take cheap shots from behind that’s just bullshit”
“Mulder are you alright what happened?”
“Found the deputy here trying to squeeze this man through the cell bars”
“Chaco. I was here earlier I run to get his heart medicine”
“Did you get a good look at the deputy Scully?”
“I shot this man… that’s impossible!”
“It’s a hot new trend in town, once one dead guy comes back they all have to do it”
“I can’t subscribe to the theory that these people where all dead Mulder, they’re suffering some cute delirium sintomes of normal thresh hold pain like, like someone on PCP”
“Angel users usually can’t take a dozen shots to the chests Scully”
“So what then are you still suggesting that the two missing girls are which’s and they’re causing this?”
“Found one of the girls, Mandy, dead. Hanging in the centre of town, and I think I Sheriff bad Smith is playing for the other team, it was his shotgun”
“I don’t feel so good. When that thing bit me”
“He’s going into analytic shock”
“Scully can you test the deputy for a infection?”
“If I had the equipment Mulder. I was in the doctors office before but there’s a crime scene lock on the door”
“The Sheriff should have the combination here somewhere…”

All right. Take the file cabinet key from the dead sheriff. Go out this cell area and open a toilet door to your left, enter, and take an aid kit. Now go back into the room with all the desks. To your right is an filing cabinet. Open it with the keys and take out your flashlight. Search the desks for any shining objects, on the Sheriff’s desk you should find ‘Sheriff’s warning’ and the ‘Sheriff’s note’. Now go back outside.

Now you must make your way all the way back to the area were you killed your first zombie in this area, near to the dead zombie by the streetlight. Near by, across the road is a doctor’s office, go into the double white doors.
(In other words, go left towards the camera. Go back around the corner. Let your console load, then it’s right from here)

Doctor’s office

Go straight; two of the doors don’t open. Look for the one that does. Go up and till you come to a door on the left hand side, enter into the dark room. There’s a woman in a chair. Her arms where amputated while she was still alive… burr!

Take the aspirin pills next to her and turn around, on the window is an X, save here.

Exit this room and go down the hall. There’s a door right a head of you that won’t budge and a door to your left which you need a code for. Go to your inventory and ‘examine’ the file you took from the Sheriff’s office, there’s a bold five-digit code in the top right and corner of the file. Remember it and type it in the security lock on the door. Now enter in.

Go a little forward till you see an open door. Go into a dark office and on the desk is a 9mm ammo clip, take it and exit his room as the door doesn’t open and there’s nothing else in here to take. Explore the room and go passed the body bed to the left, go around and soon you’ll see a door with a dry blood trail leading into the store closet. Open it for a cut scene:

“Mulder you’re hurt”
“And to think that guy’s a doctor”
“He bit you”
“I don’t think I’m feeling so good Scully”
“Mulder you’re infected, I have to find out if the doctor passed some kind of toxin into your system”
“I’ll make sure you have room to work”

Not that you can see, there’s a zombie attacking Scully, kill him. Kill all the zombies coming at you, they die then come right back again, it can be easier with the code.

Just keep killing them till Scully finishes getting you the toxin:

“How do you feel?”
“Better, but the way I did feel. I don’t think our friend in the prison cell could have survived”
“I made three extra doses just encase to counter out an infection, well I think this rules out which craft Mulder”
“Just because there’s a medical cure doesn’t rule out a paranormal cause”
“I should’ve stuck this syringe in your ass”
“Ha ha, did I… thank you for saving my life?”
“What about the other sister, Katlyne?”
“I don’t know how to explain it but… somehow I know she’s still alive. I’ve seen a vision of her, cold and afraid, I… I don’t know what it was”
“Well the trailer park is south of here maybe there’s an answer in her home”

Quickly go back to the store closet where a zombie attacked Mulder and collect an aid kit and some ammo. Kill a few more zombies and go back outside.

Now from here turn around and go onto the path on the other side of the road. Walk right till you see an open gate, enter into it.

Draw your gun and start walking straight. Around the corner on your right kill a zombie. Keep on going and kill another. Look and find some stairs and enter into the trailer. Go inside and explore her trailer. Pick up some aspirin’s and her diary in the kitchen for a short cut scene:

“Keys. Tag on here says ‘Hectors Garage’. Hectors her step father?”
“Yes, I passed the Hectors Garage on the east side but didn’t look in. Mandy’s diary’s last entry was two weeks ago she mentions a hide-away called ‘The Wheel house’”
“We’ll save time if we split-up. I’ll check the garage”

Now exit the whole trailer park. Once your back by the road, take out your gun and kill the zombies coming your way from Mulder’s left, take the 9kmm clip ammo that the zombie drops and leaves for you. Now make your way to the left, away from the camera view. Now run around the corner and keep on going till your console loads the next bit.

Now, take out your gun and kill another zombie to your left, run where he was and look for a gate on your left further up and go to you’re inventory. Examine Mandy’s diary and search on it. Mulder finds a pentagram necklace.

Now use the pentagram necklace on the gate that has a star cut out on the gate. Now enter and run down to the door and go into the wheelhouse. Your gun can now have a rest as there as no zombies in the wheelhouse. So, go to your right and have a look on the wall at a wooden carving, Mulder then will say something.

Now, take the aspirin bottle off of the table and turn around and go up the stairs. Go right and save on the cross on the wall. Now, go back down the stairs and go through the door. Now you can explore this area, after that go right from the door and climb the ladder there. You can explore this level too just go right from the ladder and up the tiny stairs and climb the next ladder. From here go a little right and forward. You’ll see a circle on the floor with candles around it. If you can’t see Ktylyns the diary use your flashlight to make it flash. Pick it up for a little cut scene:

“’As long as it harms no one’. God these girls are innocent.”
“Where are you?”
“Katlyn, you’re looking for your sister”
“It’s safe here. I’m so cold!”

Now go a little right and on a box take bodyguard videotape. Go to your inventory and examine it then search, you’ll find some keys. Start exiting this wheelhouse till a call from Scully:

“Mulder”
“Mulder it’s me, find anything?”
“Katlyne Winslow’s diary, you where right Scully. These girls have nothing to do with real which craft but they where used for some larger purpose, to divert people from sinister truth or something where not seeing yet, we have to find her Scully.”
“Well there’s no sign of Katlyne Winslow here but I found a spear key to wherever she works.”
“A long ransom diary about her ass-whole bosses at the ‘Shop-easy’”
“I’m looking at the map, that’s in the North-east corner of town.”
“From what I see I don’t know if we’ll be able to fire it up and run through it there”
“Meet me at the fire station Mulder, I think I have a way through”

Now finish the exit. Once outside, run forward towards to camera. Keep on going till you get to a large door, this is the fire station. Another cut scene:

“You’ve been at the Oral Club? I’ve been waiting”
“Trust your man enough the work this thing”
“Man enough. Oh, why do you hurt me Scully?”
“Ladies first”
“Mulder!”
“I tolled you I didn’t know how to work this thing!”
“Now what?”
“You keep going Scully I’ll try and find another way around”

Oh dear, such short time. Now you need to go all the way back to the video shop. Remember by the fire truck with fire zombies. If you don’t remember how to get there, follow the bolt text below, otherwise, skip the bold text and follow the rest, but when you arrive in the post office somewhere along the line Mulder gets a message. Check the P.O box on the right side of the room and take the alien knife, then carry on:

Run towards the camera’s direction. Keep on running till your console loads the next part. Now run down and around the corner to the left. Go back into the door, the post office door where you came out earlier. Once inside, go to the P.O boxes and exit out through the double doors.

Once outside again. Run left and back onto the road. Follow the rest of the road towards the camera which leads you too the next bit. Now after your console loads again run forwards and passed the fire by the fire truck which blocks off the road. Enter into the video shop.
