Dragon Ball Z
DragonBall Z is the story of Goku the most powerful warrior on earth, his son Gohan, and a band of friends who must battle for earth against some of the most powerful warriors in the universe. Many of the enemies that Goku faces are so powerful, that one of there kind can destroy an entire planet. One of his enemies, the Emperor Freeza, is a threat to the entire universe.

In the world goku lives in there are dragon balls. When seven of these dragon balls are brought together, they summon the Eternal Dragon who will grant the possesor a wish.

If you are wondering what this DragonBall Z thing is, its a japanese animation (Anime) series, that has been watched by more people than any series in history.

The Saiya-jin
The Saiya-jins are a race of people who once lived on the planet Vegita. they were extreamly powerful. Just one of there race could easaly destroy an entire planet. Many of these Sayins spent there lifes traveling to planets, destroying all life and then selling them to other races who were considering relocation. Goku is a Saiya-jin, and Goku was originally sent to Earth to destroy it. However when he was sent to Earth as a small child, he was found, raised and then dropped on his head (accidentally of course). When this happened he forgot his mission and was raised a human, not even knowing he was a Saiya-jin.

Just after Goku left however planet Vegita was destroyed. His father was the only one that saw it coming and tried to stop it but he was too late. The evil Freeza destroyed the planet, leaving only a few Saiya-jins left in the universe. At the time the only Saiya-jins left were Goku, Vegita, Nappa, and Radditz.

Saiya-jins have several distinct charicteristics. They can transform themselves into huge beasts and destroy hole citys in less than 10 seconds. Whenever they face a near death experience and recover, their power level increases 10 fold. And a few elite Saiya-jins can eventually become Super Saiya-jins.
Super Saiya-jins
Few people have ever become Super Saiya-jins. They come and go about every 3,000 years. Goku became one while training in 100 times gravity. Super Saiya-jins have power levels of unbelievable proportions. Before Goku became one he could have been killed in an instant by Freeza. But afterwards, he was easily able to destroy him. There are four main Super Saiya-jin levels that Saiya-jins can achieve. When a Saiya-jin goes Super, his hair becomes blonde and people standing to close to him are injured.
