I am working on this tribute to Crow, who I feel is one of the few artists out there who is keeping true "music" alive. In a year when shallow, cookie-cutter, five-boy bands croon out foolishly banal love songs that all sound the same, Brittany and Christina fight over who is going to be the most vacuous teen queen, and the Latin explosin gives us a few nice beats but can think of nothing to sing about but how much they want to dance, Crow is one of the few holding the banner for true music. It is a sad fact that most singers merely push a button and there is their music. Crow, heavily influenced by classic rock yet giving each song an edge of her own, is not only a lyrical genuis, but also a powerful musician. For this reason, I am making this page for her.
