Although he and Austin are not friends, Rock has always considered Austin a sharp guy. Rock calls Austin down to the ring. Austin comes out and stares at Rock. Rock says he had nothing to do with hitting Austin. Rock gives reasons why Rikishi may have said that. Rock gets in Austin's face and says regardless of what Rikishi said, he had nothing to do with it. Austin says he came out here because he wanted to, not because Rock told him to. Austin says he does not trust anybody. Austin contemplates who is the bigger liar, Rock or Rikishi. Austin wonders if it was really Rock who hit him from behind in the head with a wrench. Rikishi comes out to the top of the stage. Rikishi tells Austin the behind the scenes story from last year of Rock asking him to hit Austin with the car. Rikishi even says Rock hit Austin with the wrench on Smackdown. Rikishi says Rock turned his back on him. Rock says Rikishi's story stinks more than his fat ass. Rock tells Austin he has always done everything face to face. Kurt Angle comes out to the top of the stage. Kurt lists several reasons on why his title match with Rock tonight should not happen. Kurt says Rock reminds him of OJ Simpson. Rock tells Kurt and Rikishi to come down to the ring so he can whip their asses. Rikishi says not tonight because just like Austin, they don't trust him either. Kurt and Rikishi leave then Austin gives Rock a stunner. World Title Match The Rock vs Kurt Angle Match starts off with Rock pulling Kurt into the ring. Kurt counters back with a suplex. Rock slams Kurt's head into the announce table twice. Kurt whips Rock into the guard rail and then clotheslines him. Back in the ring Kurt brings Rock down to the mat. Both men clothesline each other at the same time. Rock with a ddt for a two count. Belly to belly suplex by Kurt. Instead of covering him Kurt gets his belt and heads to the back. Rock tells Hebner to stop the count. Rock attacks Kurt from behind on the rampway. Rock brings Kurt back into the ring. Rock with a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Samoan drop by Rock for a two count. Kurt hits the olympic slam for a two count; Kurt took too much time before the pin attempt. Rock throws Kurt out of the ring. Kurt says he hurt his ankle and asks the ref to stop the count. Rock throws Kurt back into the ring. Dragon screw leg whip by Rock followed up by the sharpshooter. Rikishi comes down to the ring. Rock knocks Rikishi off the ring apron. Rock with a spinebuster on Kurt. Rikishi breaks the count. Ref calls for the bell. Rikishi and Kurt double team Rock. Austin comes down and clears the ring of Rikishi and Kurt.
