| Back when Mona accompanied Gorgeous George and Madusa to the ring, many wrestling fans overlooked the former Miss Madness' All-American good looks and considerable wrestling skills. They certainly are looking now. A combination of Rey Mysterio Jr. and Chris Benoit (with a little Kathy Ireland thrown in for aesthetics), Mona represents one of the most complete professional wrestlers in the promotion. The young grappler has an impressive aerial game, but prefers to keep her opponents incapacitated and on the mat. Sport veterans like Brandi Alexander and Lexi Fife have had little luck competing against the exciting newcomer, and WCW has found it difficult to find competitors worthy of Mona's impressive wrestling skills. Regardless of who she fights, fans have embraced Mona as the savior of women's wrestling. Mona feels she's up for the task, bare feet and all. |
