- The double main event for unforgiven on September 24th is currently shaping up. Look for Triple H vs Kurt Angle in a regular grudge match, winner gets Stephanie type of thing. The other match would have the Rock defending his title against Chris Benoit, Kane and The Undertaker. This obviously leaves Chris Jericho out of the mix who could ultimately be the one behind the car that hit Stone Cold. Which would have him do some sort of a match/scuffle with Austin during the PPV.
- Former WCW Star Mona officially signed a contract with the WWF last week. The WWF is unsure at the moment what her role with the company will be, however it can be expected to involve a push at the Womens Title.
The WWF will keep there fans guessing as to who ran over Steve Austin. This will most likely be used to coincide with the proposed cliffhanger for the last Raw Is War on the USA Network. Tonight on Raw look for the WWF to throw a whole host of candidates out of the equation as regards to who ran Stonecold over leaving a select few for Austin to gun for at Unforgiven if no one has stepped forward before then. D@N reports that it is quite possibly that the culprit for running down Steve Austin at last years Survivor Series PPV could be none other than the current WWF champion The Rock.
The USA lawsuit with the WWF is not settled yet, with no decision. This means that the TNN plans are not final until a decision is made. The judge MIGHT make the WWF stay on USA, but I doubt it. No matter what happens, WWF will continue with the Stone Cold storyline, and the cliffhanger episode will air the same night. WWF's writers have outdone themselves on this one and is expected to leave people shocked and suprised.
Perry Saturn is expected to go through a WWF makeover/change in direction in the near future. Its is no secret that the fans have not popped for Perry hardly on WWF TV recently. The WWF like to see their workers succeed. Saturn will be going in a new direction very soon.
When the XFL debuts next February expect Vince McMahon to be demanding mega money for advertising in every game broadcast. Also it is rumoured that the XFL games could either end up on ESPN or MTV.
A number of people have e-mailed me with a possible culprit in the ?who ran over Steve Austin?? saga, and their suggestion is certainly within the realm of possibility. While most people are looking at more regular characters, such as The Rock, Raven, Billy Gunn or Big Show, one legendary WWF worker has eluded the conscience of the majority - that name being Shawn Michaels. With recent speculation that Michaels could return to the squared circle, Michaels vs. Austin could re-ignite, 2 ½ years after it was last in motion, and take to the ring again, too.
A logical, although by no means confirmed, feud for the future, is Steve Regal versus Davey Boy Smith for the European title. The European title was brought in to the WWF three years ago in an attempt to cater to the European market, but in recent years, has become simply a B-grade version of the Intercontinental strap. A feud between the two Englishman, Regal from Blackpool, and Smith from near Manchester, could even be a part of the next WWF United Kingdom pay per view, which takes place in Sheffield on December 2nd. Regal?s return to WWF television is expected to occur before the end of September - in the meantime, he will work a house show program with Dennis Knight - while Smith will be medically cleared to wrestle within the next two weeks, although his television comeback is unclear at present.
Slam! Wrestling reports that the jam packed ECW tapings last night at the Hershey's Center in Missasauga, Ontario, Canada, was an extreme hit. The crowd received a roar of approval and this could lead to more ECW events in Canada. As you may know Canada, more specifically Toronto, may be the biggest place for the Big 3 in the whole universe. Every WWF house show gets over 20 000 people and Toronto set the record for a Raw is War crowd, capturing over 40 000 fans. So, if Paul Heyman is looking to capture an audience, it seems that Canada could be the place where he should go.
Test Passes the Exam
Look for Test and Albert to break up as a tag team and go there seperate ways. Test seems to have a great future in the WWF, as some people say he will be "the Diesel that we never knew of." By this they mean that Diesel (aka Kevin Nash in WCW) never reached his full potential in the WWF, as he headed down south. Test could have a similar gimmick as Kevin Nash and surely become the top "big man" in the WWF. Look for Albert to go into the Hardcore division after the break-up.
Raw is War Back to Time Slot
Raw is War will go back to its regular timeslot tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET. This Raw is War should be huge with many announcements concerning WWF Unforgiven and who ran over Stone Cold Stevce Austin. Look for the interrogation to start with undercard wrestlers this week on Raw.
Shawn Michaels? open-ended comment in his latest online commentary about the possibility of returning for one last match is certain to leave many wrestling fans who were fortunate enough to witness the former three-time WWF Champion?s work desperate for more information. Whether Michaels was teasing the Internet or has genuine aspirations for working again on the big stage is something only he knows, but the prospect of it happening again has been discussed ever since Stone Cold Steve Austin Stunned him in March 1998 at WrestleMania XIV, and then pinned HBK to win his first World title, in what transpired to be Michaels last match in the WWF. Although HBK has worked since then, on April 4 of this year, it was only a glorified brawl between he and his Texas Wrestling Alliance?s number one heel, Venom.
With the WWF on fire on all fronts, be it television ratings, house show attendances or pay per view buyrates, the need for an added element of interest into the company is not essential, but Vince McMahon and the other members of the creative team are surely wise to the appeal of Michaels versus The Rock, or Michaels up against his long-time friend both on and off camera, Triple H. Michaels says that his back is feeling good following surgery early last year, and rehabilitation ever since - the back had been causing him problems heading into the aforementioned WrestleMania match with Austin, and it was thought at one stage that wrestling again would be out of the question. Matters appear to have changed, unless, that is, Michaels is using his commentary to revive what he feels is flagging interest in him; it is well known in the industry that he is one of the biggest egomaniacs ever to wrestle.
Evan Karagias, who was involved in a backstage incident with Goldberg prior to Monday Nitro, may have had the planned ending of his match, teaming with the other members of 3 Count, against Kronik, changed as reward from management for not making a formal issue of the situation. However, the count-out victory was little reward in truth, because 3 Count were destroyed during the match by Kronik, and again afterwards by Tank Abbott.

Numerous eyebrows in the industry were raised when Kurt Angle worked so soon after his head injury at SummerSlam - Angle wrestled just two days after the pay per view, at a SmackDown! taping. Although Angle has been taken off the weekend?s house shows, the fact remains that he was asked to wrestle when he was far from 100%, which could have made the problem far worse had he taken another nasty bump.
1Wrestling.com has let out a press release that was given by Vince McMahon to IT Radio Network. This is what was released:
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 2000--IT Radio Network, the voice behind eBusiness, is featuring in-depth interviews with Vince McMahon, chairman & founder of World Wrestling Federation Entertainment (Nasdaq:WWFE), and Michael Maulick, CEO of ReleaseNow.com.
During the interview with WWF Entertainment's Vince McMahon, he discusses the company's new Xtreme Football League (XFL), how it differs from the NFL and his plans for bringing the game back to the fans.
According to McMahon, the NFL has left the door wide open for the emergence of the XFL. "When billionaire owners start making the rules and changing rules to benefit their investment as opposed to the football game," said McMahon. "It leaves open a whole brand new canvas in which the XFL can walk right in and paint this fan-friendly football canvas, which is what the NFL used to be years ago."
In the interview with ReleaseNow.com's Michael Maulick, he discussed how getting struck by lightning altered his approach to business, building a brand in the B-to-B space, Corio and what motivated him to leave IBM.
These interviews and others are available free online in RealAudio and text at http://www.itradionetwork.com.

Val Venis seemed to get lots of heat in his new gimmick with the Right to Censor. Look for Steven Richards to abduct and convert more wrestlers; including former WCW wrestler, Mona.
PWTorch.com reports that during an NFL game on Sunday between the St. Louis Rams and Seattle Seahawks, a time out was called and during the huddle, they played Diamond Dallas Page's theme. (Thanks to Octavio Fierros of Los Angeles, Calif.)
Lastly, Steven Regal made his WWF debut on television last night. He got quite a lot of heat as he was explaining manners. Look for Regal to be pushed into the European division.
-The Miami Herald Online Wrestilng reports that ECW's Nova is chaning his role soon in Extreme Championship Wrestling. After four years as always being some part of a group/tag-team he will now try and take it on his own. Nova had this to say about leaving the tag-team division, "I'll miss the action of tag team matches, but the only way to get to a certain point in this business is by being a good singles wrestler". -On RAW, Al Snow came on as a German and the word "Kopf" was repeated both in his song and on the entrance video. The word translated from German to English means head.
-On MSNBC's Olypmic coverage they showed an interactive box where Tazz was going up against Karelin, a Russian Greco-Roman favorite. They show some of the comparisions between pro and amatuer wrestling.
