I'm probably the biggest Gillberg mark on the planet. his "debut" in the WWF with this persona was one of the single funniest moments in WWF history.
this past year, while GOLDBERG sat out faking an injury, Duane "Gillberg" Gill worked the indy circuit, and everywhere he went he delighted the fans. Chants of Gillllllllllllllllllllberrrrrrrrgg echoed through high school gyms & smaller venues across the country.
but that was yesterday's news...............Goldberg is back wreaking havoc in WCW, and it's time for Gillberg to return and take his rightful place as WWF Light Heavyweight Champion.
truth is, Duane Gill is one of the nicest guys in the business, and he deserves to be back in the WWF.
please take a moment & go to www.wrestlingguys.com , and find out how to get Gillberg back in the WWF. As fans, we got the WWF to give the Blue Meanie a second chance. this should be a breeze.
in case you're wondering, wrestlingguys.com will return soon with a new format. but in the interim, help a good guy out.............put GILLBERG back in the WWF!!!! Please post this everywhere you can. i appreciate it, and so does Gillberg
The highly popular men's magazine Maxim Magazine is going to be doing a special on the ladies of the World Wrestling Federation. Maxim Magazine is geared toward men and often features provocative sexual interviews and photos of women. World Championship Wrestling women Kimberley, Nitro Girl Chae, Ms. Hancock and Torrie Wilson recently did an interview with Maxim Magazine's sister magazine, Stuff Magazine. Stuff writer Dawn Yanek did an interview with the ladies and asked them all about their sex lives. All the ladies answered the questions openly and honestly. Such as questions like if the ladies ever fantasize about doing it in the ring. Click the link below (wrestlewire.com) to read the entire interview in full. With the huge success the women in the WWF are having, Maxim Magazine wants to capitalize on that and to a follow up on Stuff's WCW women interview. Expect Maxim to do something with WWF ladies, Chyna, Lita, Trish Stratus, Terri Runnels and The Kat. With Chyna's upcoming Playboy release and the mainstream attention the WWF is receiving, this Maxim issue could possibly be their highest seller. There is no definite release date, but expect this issue to come out early next year.
It looks as if WWF broadcaster Kevin Kelly is getting some heat in the office. Kelly, who had been groomed for years to become the current #3 broadcaster and eventually take over Jim Ross' position in the future, has instead been taken over by Michael Cole. Cole has shown more initiative and is much easier to work with. Cole also pays attention and has a better work ethic then Kevin Kelly does. Also in the past Jim Cornette would be the one to call local promoters and book local indy , now that Cornette works extensively with Ohio Valley Wrestling, that job has fallen onto Kevin Kelly. Kelly hasn't been doing a very good job in that and has sometimes missed calling promoters, which left Cornette to cover for him, like when the WWF was in Southern California back at the WrestleMania weekend.
The main event for Unforgiven will most likely include Undertaker vs. The Rock. Triple H will take on Kurt Angle, and there may be a stipulation added and Stephanie McMahon will be heavily involved in the match. Other rumored matches are Tazz vs. Chris Jericho, Kane vs. Chris BenoitThe card hasn't been 100% decided yet, but Vince has a good idea where they want to go with certain angles and wrestlers, so expect a lot to be cleared up this week on RAW and Smackdown.
Big Country is doing the Weekend News. This past Thursday was the big Music Video Awards on MTV. WWF Cameras were on hand as The Rock and Chyna were there. Photos and videos are available on WWF.com.
An injury update from the Ross Report; Bob Holly will be returning in late October. Tori is looking to come back in late October, or early November. Billy Gunn in 2 weeks.
Speaking of Billy Gunn, he was a guest on Byte This!, and he spoke about many things, including his return to the WWF. Lita was also a guest, and she had a lot to speak about. You can check that out on the Byte This! page on WWF.com, or you can click the link at the bottom to get to the Byte This! report!
Sunday Night Heat will be back on it's normal time, and Lita, the Hardy Boyz and Chris Benoit will all be in attendance.
Sorry for not posting this yesterday, was extremely busy...

* Question: "When Albert accidentally hit into Test on Raw (9/4) he said "sh*t," why didn't anyone edit that?"
* Answer: I would guess that they missed it.
* Question: "Are Crush from demolition, the Hawaiian crush, and crush from DOA all the same guy? And if so, why did he keep returning to the WWF?"
* Answer: Yes, he is the same guy. I guess he kept returning to the WWF, because he needed a job?
* Question: "Hey, I was just reading Mick Foley's book it is brilliant but I did notice a few mistakes like when he Mentions Owen on page 309 he says it was May 29 12.46am when he was told about Owen by pat Patterson but this is weird because Owen died on May 23rd as you will know and I don't think it could have been 12.46 as it was during over the edge because when I was watching it it was about 9ish I think this is maybe just because Foley has taken more than one bump to the head and I was just wondering if you noticed that in your copy."
* Answer: The day was wrong, yes, but it could have very well been 12:46am. He could have caught the replay, but I'm not sure. Both could be wrong. Mick admits that he has mistakes in the book. Not everyone is perfect, and at least he is honest about it. I'm sure that's what a lot of people respect about Mick Foley.
* Question: "What is the difference between a "fan" and a "mark?""
* Answer: To me, nothing. Fan, mark, same thing. The term mark has evolved so much since it's "debut", where ever it came from. For a while, it was used as an insult, to call a wrestling fan ignorant for buying into the stuff that the Federations put on, but that would be like a non wrestling fan telling a wrestling fan that he or she is stupid. I am a mark for the World Wrestling Federation. The wrestling is more entertaining when you make yourself buy into the storylines and what they are doing. If you sit there and watch wrestling, acting as if it is fake, then why watch? It kills the entertainment value. The "smart" fans like to call themselves smart marks, or smarks. I find it all stupid. We're wrestling fans, why categorize some of them?
* Question: "when is DX to get back together and when they do will Chyna be with them?"
* Answer: I am not a booker. I can't predict this. I don't see Degeneration X getting back together, but I can see Triple H and Chyna getting back together.
* Question: " What do you think are the chances that Goldberg will ever be in the WWF. Would they even what him given his backstage problems and his interview bashing HHH?"
* Answer: He should stay where he is. He has made it public that he is only in it for the money, and to have someone like that in the locker room, it may not be good. I bet Goldberg's bashing Triple H is WCW right in his ear.
* Question: "I am glad that someone else besides me like Shane. I think some of the stuff he has done as far as high flying is awesome. If they decided to turn Shane into a full time wrestler, I think that would be great. He could reasonably challenge any of the light heavyweight wrestlers. Would you approve of Shane becoming a full time wrestler?"
* Answer: I think it would be hard for me to accept Shane McMahon as a full time wrestler. If he wanted to do it, fine, but he just seems like the manager/owner type.
* Question: "Do you think Steve Austin will wrestle by Survivor Series or what? Another question I know you are a huge wwf fan do you spend money on it like buy magazines or t-shirts or videos."
* Answer: It's hard to say if Steve Austin will wrestle by the Survivor Series or not. I will have to see what type of shape he is in before I say anything. I hear that he is in great shape, but I have to see him before I judge on it. If he's in the shape that everyone says he is in, I would say that he could possibly have a match at No Mercy. Maybe not a 5 star match, but at least go in there and do something. Maybe squash someone, dunno. I buy magazines, yes. T-shirts, I used to buy, but I haven't bought one in a while, and I don't plan on it. I have bout a few videos in the past, but I no longer do that, because today's videos are pretty much just 60 minute videos. If they aren't at least 2 hours, I don't want it. I did buy an old Stone Cold video recently, but only because it was 4 dollars.
* Question: "Doink the Clown. Who is he? Where is he? Why did he leave? Him Dink and all of his look-alikes were hilarious!"
* Answer: Some guy named Ray Apollo, I believe. He is wrestling in the Indies. He left, because the gimmick was stupid, and he was good for nothing else. Doink recently wrestled on an EWA Show in Asbury Park, New Jersey. It was nice to see him again, but it wouldn't be nice to see him back in the WWF.
* Question: "what is your favorite wwf gimmick?"
* Answer: The dead man of the Undertaker.
* Question: "was bob Backlund's middle two titles reigns official or not?"
* Answer: He is a two time World Wrestling Federation Champion.
* Question: "what wrestlers have held 3 or four wwf titles over their careers?"
* Answer: With all the titles in the WWF now, there have been many. You may want to check through the WWF Overdose title histories at http://wwf.powerwrestling.com/titles/. Guys like Shawn Michaels, the British Bulldog, Owen Hart, Bret Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin and many others have held 3 titles or over. There's just too many to name.
* Question: "what is your favorite wwf gimmick match?"
* Answer: Royal Rumble.
* Question: "Kane: He is not 7 feet, how tall is he really? What was his background before coming to WWF?"
* Answer: I believe Kane is either 6'7" or 6'8". Maybe even 6'9", but you're right, he is not 7 feet tall. He was a wrestler before coming to the WWF as well. I'm not sure of any other background outside of wrestling. Maybe a dentist? Just kidding! lol.
* Question: "Do you know anything about the WWF HO Victoria? Where did she work before WWF?"
* Answer: Victoria was working for UPW, and I believe she still is. Information on here can be found on the UPW web site at UPW.com
* Question: "At Wrestlemania 8, the final match is interrupted by the Ultimate Warrior coming to save Hulk whilst fighting Sid Vicious, I have heard from reliable sources that this may well have been Kerry Von Erich 'THE TEXAS TORNADO' and not the ULTIMATE WARRIOR - the 'warriors' physique looked very similar to the tornado and I have freeze framed the video footage I have got and am leaning towards the opinion that it may well be the Texas Tornado substituting for the real Ultimate Warrior. As I remember the Real Ultimate Warrior had VERY defined Bulging muscles, this guy was well built but to me looked more like the TORNADO than the WARRIOR."
* Answer: It was the Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania 8.
* Question: "If there was one thing that you would love to see happen in wrestling...what would it be?"
* Answer: For Owen Hart to come back to life and wrestle again.
KAUFMAN AND LAWLER
"You received a questions about whether the Lawler-Kaufman feud was a work or a shoot. It was a work. As far as the Letterman show, I heard a Lawler interview about the matter. Lawler said that while he and Kaufman were in the greenroom and Kaufman wished that the feud could go on a little longer. Lawler said that when the situation presented itself he stood up and slapped Kaufman. Without missing a beat, Kaufman went nuts for that segment and the next." - Ren
THE LITTLE RINGS
"Hi. I just read the q&a and on it u said that if someone knew why the wrestlers were in the car thing or whatever it is to email you. Well I saw the video cause in 1990 I was quite small and I think that they came down in there cause in the Sky dome (I'm positive it was there)I think it is a really long walk the way it was set up. I've seen lots of events in the Sky dome and the place where everything goes on is really big! OK! Is this enough info. I might be wrong though but hey, at least I got something." - No Name Person
KURT ANGLE, MARRIED
"FYI, according in an interview in WOW Kurt Angle is married [read this as one of the question asked of you]." - Kevin
CORRECTIONS
I just wanted to thank everyone for sending in corrections on some of the questions that I answer. Some of them are minor, while some are major. I don't mind it one bit, so you don't have to ask me if I like it or not. I appreciate it, a lot!
THE DX BAND
"The DX band has a name, well..two that I've heard. Many Years ago, when DX first began WWF Magazine promoted their upcoming CD. The band was called The Connecticut Yankees. The Band is fronted by Chris Warren, so it is sometimes dubbed The Chris Warren Band." - Slasher
Sorry if I couldn't get to everyone's question. I am pressed for time.
WCW has apparently moved their planned November 12 Nitro, which was in the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA, to a smaller arena in Augusta, GA. This comes after poor ticket sales lately, and that is carrying on to the fact that WCW wouldn't want to be embarassed in their own hometown!
Gary Juster was the one who suggested this move to Brad Siegel weeks ago, and Siegel just made the switch. It was done out of fear that the Turner/Time Warner higher-ups wouldn't appreciate the local publicity of the centerpiece of WCW can't even sell out an arena, or come no where close.
The plan is now to eventually return to the Philips Arena, but not without a full scale promotion for the event.
The word is that the Charlotte, NC Nitro for this Monday has only sold 1,100 tickets for a 7,000 seat capacity building. By the way, that's even with the rumored Ric Flair return too!
WCW event coordinators met with Brad Siegel this past afternoon to discuss further issues about live events.
Apparently, WCW has a good 18 Months contractually with Scott Hall as of right now, and they have no way of getting out of the deal.
Official WCW Monday Nitro Preview
The relationship between David Flair and Stacy Kiebler has captured the interest of both fans and WCW employees. In the world of professional wrestling, it's hard enough to keep friends for more than a few months, much less find your lifelong soulmate. David and Stacy's wedding is a WCW first--and may symbolize more than just the bond between a woman and a man.
Monday Nitro in Charlotte might also mark the reunion of a father and a son.
But will the legendary Ric Flair attend the ceremony? And if The Nature Boy does make an appearance, will he forgive David for trying to end his career?
Chris Jericho has announced that he has been working with the WWF on a brand new home video. Look for Y2J's latest project to hit the shelves just in time for Christmans, this year. You can also check out other WWF home videos to hit the shelves late 2000, early 2001.
This past week, NewsDay had an article on Chris Kanyon and his parents. Also many rumors flying around about Kanyon working a deal with The World Wrestling Federation. This is something we could see happen anytime soon.
This upcoming week does mark the first week of head to head competition during major viewing time (9-11 P.M. EST) between WWF Raw and regular season Monday Night Football. Raw/Warzone ratings may take a slight hit/drop from this, but it will be very interesting to see how popular Pro Wrestling is compared to Football.
Backstage there is talk of having the former ECW Tag Champs, and former WWF Tag champs the Dudley Boyz face the APA in some sort of no DQ/streetfight rules match at Unforgiven. Just like the match we saw Mick Foley vs. Triple H a few months back at Mick's so called 'retirement.'
-Stone Cold's Smackdown appearance has a lot of people talking and his return to PPV on Sept. 24 and to Raw on Sept. 25 is much anticipated! Austin has been training like crazy and is at about 245 pounds and will probably return to action at close to 250-252. Stone Cold's conditioning will not be an issue and you can bet he will be in magnificent condition when we see him officially in action which could be on Oct. 22 at No Mercy in Albany, New York. That's a good, educated guess. Philly has a special significance for the Rattlesnake as that's where he faced the Rock in 1999 @ WrestleMania for the WWF Title.
-Injury update: Bob Holly, doing great in therapy/rehab, due back in October; Tori, 3 times per week at P.T., feeling and looking great and should be back in October or early November; Billy Gunn is two weeks away from being cleared to compete (no date has been finalized for his actual return), British Bulldog, cleared by doctor to return within the next two weeks, however, his return to TV has yet to be finalized; Kurt Angle is being held out of action this weekend to allow him to recover from the concussion he suffered at SummerSlam. Kurt's catscan was negative so this is strictly for precautionary measures. Angle will be back Monday for Raw. Matt Hardy has sore ribs and Jeff Hardy has a slight ankle sprain but both will be on the road this weekend. The Road Dogg will miss the next few days to care for his ill wife. RoadDogg should return to action on Sept. 16.
-VERY many reliable sources say that Stone Cold and Debra will marry within the next week or so. Mr. and Mrs. J.R. will be in attendance at the wedding. So expect good ole' J.R. to have the full scoops on this at WWF.com.
-On the marry note, A second September wedding will honor The King 'Jerry Lawler' and The Kat, who will finally make it official. We're looking forward to attending this ceremony, also.
Zap2it.com has released their weekly preview. It looks like the Steve Austin at Unforgiven story will be furthered of course. It also looks like we may see the Rock put the title on the line Monday Night in WWF War Zone. All in all looks to be a good show. It will be back at it's normal timeslot of 9pm on the East Coast.
WWF RAW (Sports) TV14 Suggestions are made as to who ran over Stone Cold Steve Austin. CC (Live)
