Kane
Career Highlights: Former World Wrestling Federation Champion, Tag Team Champion (4)
No superstar in history has made more of an immediate impact than Kane. On October 5, 1997, the world met Kane, as the seven-foot monster tore off the door to "Hell in the Cell" in order to get to his brother, the Undertaker. The siblings later fought in the first-ever Inferno Match!
Less than one year after he arrived, Kane became the World Wrestling Federation Champion by defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin at the 1998 King of the Ring. Though his reign was short-lived, the seven-foot monster proved he could live up to all expectations.
Since then, Kane has been a Tag Team Champion on three occasions. Once a man of no emotion, Kane has somewhat broken out of his shell. However, the 7-footer still remains a monster in the ring.
The Kat
Career Highlights: Women's Champion (1)
Ever since her debut in the World Wrestling Federation, the Kat has undergone a radical transformation. Originally a personal assistant with the moniker of "Miss Kitty," she has now established herself as a strong, independent woman. Taking a cue from Chyna (right down to the ring apparel), the Kat will never be forced into the background again.
Nobody knows the Kat's plans for the future, but if her newfound confidence is any indication, she'll continue to be one of the most influential personalities in the Federation!
Ken Shamrock
Career Highlights: 1998 King Of The Ring, Intercontinental Champion, Tag Team Champion (with Big Boss Man)
While fighting in the Ultimate Fighting Championship circuit, ABC television called him "The World's Most Dangerous Man". A master of submissions, Ken Shamrock was perhaps the most skilled fighter ever to compete in the Octagon, and quickly became a UFC Champion.
Shamrock entered the World Wrestling Federation in February of 1997 and astounded many wrestling insiders with his transition from the UFC to the Federation. In fact, Ken was voted 1997's "Rookie of the Year" by many of the writers of World Wrestling Federation Magazine.
In 1998, Shamrock really came into his own. He was crowned 1998 King of the Ring, one of the Federations highest honors. Later that year, in October, he won the Intercontinental Championship in an eight-man tournament on RAW IS WAR!
Though Shamrock continues to face more and more obstacles, the World's Most Dangerous Man looks to continue that success in 1999 and beyond.
Kurt Angle
Career Highlights: European Champion, Intercontinental Champion
Kurt Angle first opened the eyes of the world with his gold-medal performance at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. The Pittsburgh native did his country proud, winning the 220-pound freestyle wrestling competition, and the extraordinarily proud Angle surely won't let anyone forget about it!
Angle takes himself very seriously, calling himself the only "real athlete" in the World Wrestling Federation. When the crowd is not behind him, Kurt wonders how anyone could boo an Olympic gold medallist.
Mae Young
Mae Young is one of the most well-known and respected female superstars in sports-entertainment history. Mae and her friend the Fabulous Moolah shocked the world when they returned to active competition in the World Wrestling Federation during the later stages of 1999.
Even though she is in her late seventies, Mae Young still packs quite a whallop in the ring. We've seen Mae give the much younger Ivory a good, healthy pounding on more than one occasion. In addition, Mae Young has taken some big hits herself, but no matter how many times she flies over the top rope or gets shoved onto the mat, Mae gets right back up again, more ready to fight than ever!
Mean Street Posse
Singles highlights:
Pete Gas - Hardcore Champion (2)
Rodney - Hardcore Champion
Joey Abs - Hardcore Champion
Growing up on the mean streets of Greenwich wasn't easy for Shane McMahon's closest friends. However, Rodney, Pete Gas and Joey Abs toughed it out. The trio learned what it meant to be fierce on the mean streets. Now they have carried that mentality over to the World Wrestling Federation, where they practice Shane's theory of "everyday somebody's got to pay."
Despite being the meanest guys in Greenwich, Rodney and Pete Gas have lacked success in their limited time in the ring, which includes a loss in a "Loser Leaves the Federation Match." However, their spot on the Federation roster will never be in jeopardy.
Joey Abs, on the other hand, has already proven that he can take care of himself between the ropes. Shane saw limitless potential in his childhood friend, and enrolled him in the World Wrestling Federation training camp. When he completed the camp, Joey was more determined, more focused and more brutal than ever before.
After being in the Federation for just under a year, the Mean Street Posse won its first televised match on the Mar. 13, 2000, edition of RAW as Pete Gas defeated Crash Holly to win the Hardcore Championship. Eight seconds later, however, Crash retained his belt.
Mideon
Career highlights: Tag Team Champion, European Champion
Dennis Knights wicked transformation to the Dark Side began when he was kidnapped by the Acolytes during an episode of RAW and delivered to the Undertaker. During a chilling ceremony the following week, the Undertaker sacrificed Mideons soul to the Ministry.
Since then, Mideon has become a dark spirit. On several occasions, Mideon has been in perilous situations where his own destruction seemed imminent. But never has he sold out his cause. Who knows what things this strange "seer" has in store for the Federation?
Paul Bearer
First arriving into the World Wrestling Federation as the Undertaker's keeper, Paul Bearer turned on the phenom and masterminded an evil plot to destroy the former Federation Champion. But when the Undertaker decided he wanted to return to the Dark Side, he reunited with the "evil, detestable" Bearer to keep him focused on the task at hand.
Their union has once again been severed, as Paul has since aligned himself with his son, Kane. Together, the duo have been punishing nearly every Superstar on the roster.
Perry Saturn
As soon as Perry Saturn walks in a room, you kind of get the feeling that hes not someone you want to mess with. Take a closer look at his background, and youll realize how right you are.
At an age when most young boys are busy learning the alphabet, Perry started his training in Judo Kwan and Kempo Karate. He continued with both disciplines until age 17, at which time he joined the U.S. Army. After achieving Airborne Ranger Status with the service, Perry moved to Boston where he began training under the legendary Killer Kowalski.
For the next few years, Perry split his time between Kowalskis New England-based Independent promotion and New Japan. Among the many titles he won in these promotions was a reign as Tag Team Champion with his partner Triple H, who was also a student of Kowalski!
In 1995 Perry joined ECW and his career really began to gain momentum. Saturn and John Kronus who competed as the Eliminators terrorized ECWs tag team ranks for years, putting on some of the most memorable matches the promotion has ever witnessed. With an enormous amount of talent and an appearance as intimidating as they come, it was only a matter of time before one of the "big two" came courting Perry Saturn.
That time came in 1997 when World Championship Wrestling signed Saturn. Competing in the promotion for less than two years, Perry was able to earn some success (most notably two Tag Team Title reigns).
A dozen years after he began chasing his dream of becoming a professional wrestler, Perry Saturn has landed in the No. 1 sports entertainment company in the world. He might not have taken the most direct route to the WWF, but everyone is sure glad hes ended up here.
Prince Albert
A graduate of the World Wrestling Federation's training camp, Prince Albert is one of the most colorful superstars on the roster. Numerous piercings line his body, causing many to label him as the Human Pincushion. Of course, when you look like the Prince does, you have to be tough, and his finishing maneuver, in which he press-slams his opponent into a falling powerbomb, is the stuff of nightmares!
Now, Albert finds himself tagging with Test in the Trish Stratus-led tag team, T & A. With her looks and guidance, the already hot tag team division is about to boil over!
Rikishi
Career Highlights: Tag Team Champion
Rikishi reappeared in the Federation after a long absence with a new look and a new attitude. The sumo from Samoa uses his girth to crush opponents into submission, and his piledriver finisher is truly a devastating maneuver.
Rikishi also has a lighter side, as he can often be seen dancing in tandem with Too Cool following their matches. Whether punishing opponents or gyrating in the ring, Rikishi is sure to become a favorite of Federation fans.
Road Dogg
Career highlights: Tag Team Champion (5); Hardcore Champion, Intercontinental Champion
After proving himself in the tag team division by securing the Tag Team Championship on three occasions, Road Dogg has done the same in singles competition. He was one of the first Hardcore Champions before he was stripped of the title due to injury. Just a few weeks after returning, he defeated Val Venis to become the Intercontinental Champion.
While the Road Dogg was in the ring winning titles, he attained more and more popularity with the fans. When he gets on the microphone, the crowd chants along with him. One of the most charismatic superstars in the Federation, the Road Dogg is as entertaining as he is tough.
The Rock
Career Highlights: World Wrestling Federation Champion (3), Intercontinental Champion (2), Tag Team Champion (3)
The Rock is a third-generation superstar with immeasurable athleticism--and cockiness to boot! After graduating as an All-American football star from the University of Miami, Rocky Maivia entered the World Wrestling Federation and quickly became the Intercontinental Champion.
Under controversial circumstances, The Rock won the World Wrestling Federation Championship at Survivor Series 1998. The Rock went on to win the title two more times, making the "Great One" a three-time Federation Champion. Hes a gifted athlete, hes gifted on the microphonehes simply a gifted entertainer. And from the Rolex watch to the $500 shirts to the eyebrow and the Corporate Elbow, The Rock is just plain cool.
Whether hes a champion or a contender, a fan favorite or the most hated superstar on the roster, The Rock is a 27-year-old phenom. Hes already the "Most Electrifying Man in Sports-Entertainment," and when its all said and done he may go down in history as the most decorated, well-known and renowned superstar the Federation has ever known.

Sexual Chocolate
Career Highlights: European Champion
Not only is Mark Henry known as the "World's Strongest Man," but to the beautiful females of the Federation he is also known as "Sexual Chocolate."
Since becoming romantically involved with Mae Young, the former Olympian has seemed to step it up a notch in the Federation. The love of the 80-year-old Young might be just what Mark Henry needs to return to the Federation's championship ranks.
Sgt. Slaughter
Career highlights: World Wrestling Federation Champion, Federation Commissioner
One of the all-time greats in the World Wrestling Federation, Sgt. Slaughter holds the distinct honor of being both a former Federation Champion and a one-time commissioner! The former drill sergeant from Parris Island, South Carolina, remains active with the Federation as a backstage official.
Sarges career in the WWF began in the early 1980s, as he battled rivals such as the Iron Sheik. But his American patriotism quickly did an about-face, as the iron-chinned superstar became an Iraqi sympathizer during the Gulf War in 1991. After forming an alliance with General Adnan, Slaughter pulled off one of the greatest upsets in Federation history by pinning the Ultimate Warrior for the Federation Championship at the 1991 Royal Rumble!
After dropping the title to Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VII, Slaughter took several months off to rethink his philosophy. He returned waving the American flag once again, and formed a popular tag team with fellow patriot "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan in 1992.
In mid-1997, Slaughter made his grand return on RAW, as he was named Federation Commissioner! After a tumultuous reign, the legend assumed a role as a backstage official late last year. He remains one of the greatest legends in Federation history!
Shane McMahon
Career Highlights: Retired the European Title as an undefeated champion
Shane McMahon was born with a silver spoon in his mouth the likes of which have never before been seen. As the only son of Vince and Linda McMahon, Shane became the heir apparent to the World Wrestling Federation throne the second he left the womb.
Shane at one time let the knowledge that he will one day take over the number one sports-entertainment company in the world turn him into a sadistic monster. He aligned himself with the Undertaker, the very personification of evil, to form the Corporate Ministry--perhaps the most powerful, not to mention insidious, faction the Federation had ever seen. Even though the days of the Ministry have passed, Shane's countenance stayed the same.
That was until he and Vince both turned over a new leaf, becoming real leaders of the Federation and its fans rather than evil schemers. After a lengthy absence, Shane has returned, alongside Big Show, in an attempt to regain power of the Federation from his younger sister, Stephanie.
Shawn Michaels
Career Highlights: World Wrestling Federation Grand Slam Champion, 1995 and 1996 Royal Rumble winner
Perhaps the most exciting and charismatic superstar ever to grace a World Wrestling Federation ring, Shawn Michaels, the founder of the controversial D-Generation X, is the self-proclaimed ICON of sports-entertainment. Michaels holds the distinction of being the only competitor in history to capture the "Grand Slam" of the Federation (holding the Federation Title, Intercontinental Title, European Title and Tag Team Title).
Injuries have kept the Heartbreak Kid from competing in the ring since WrestleMania XIV. However, ever one to seek the spotlight, Michaels returned in November when he was named the new Commissioner of the World Wrestling Federation! Even though Mr. McMahon promised to appoint a "free thinking, independent" commissioner, Michaels orders, at first, seemed to have coincided with the interests of The Corporation.
When Michaels prevented The Corporation from helping Shane McMahon while he was under attack, McMahon tried to fire HBK. When that didn't work, he ordered The Corporation to ambush him. That worked. Michaels suffered severe injuries. He underwent disk surgery and was soon back in the Federation fold. He still remains unchallenged as the Federation's Commissioner, and he's out for revenge, making The Corporation's existence a miserable one.
Michaels recently opened the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy with his mentor, Jose Lothario, in San Antonio.
Stephanie McMahon
Career highlights: Women's Champion (1)
Intelligent, beautiful and enterprising
these three words sum up Stephanie McMahon perfectly. Unfortunately for her family and the rest of the Federation roster the youngest McMahon chose to use these assets for her own advantage. Stunning the world at Armageddon, Stephanie turned on her father and sided with Triple H! Now married to "The Game," Stephanie and Triple H have led the World Wrestling Federation into the new millennium with the McMahon-Helmsley era, and it will never be the same again!
Steve Austin
Career highlights: World Wrestling Federation Championship (4), Intercontinental (2), Tag Team (3), 1996 King Of The Ring, 1998 Royal Rumble winner.
Stone Cold Steve Austin. The mere mention of his name will bring any sold-out crowd to its feet in a crazed frenzy. Never before has the world of sports-entertainment seen a phenomenon like the one that Stone Cold Steve Austin has created. At any live event you attend, all you see is a sea of Austin 3:16. Why? 'Cause Stone Cold said so!
When the Texas Rattlesnake entered the Mecca Arena in Milwaukee, for the 1996 King Of The Ring, he never could have imagined that before the evening was through, he would change the entire face of the wrestling world. After beating the Bible-referencing Jake "The Snake" Roberts to become King Of The Ring, Austin accepted his crown, and upon doing so informed Roberts that "Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your ass!" With that simple phrase, Austin became the most popular superstar to ever compete in this sport.
Some peers say Stone Cold Steve Austin is a suicide machine with lack of regard for authority and rules. But you can't deny this superstar is tougher than leather when he steps through the ring ropes. Without a doubt, there are still plenty of unwritten chapters in the book of Austin 3:16!
Steve Blackman
The pure wrestling machine that is the "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman shows little emotion inside the squared circle. He lets his martial arts prowess do the talking. His reflexes are to be feared, as Blackman can deliver several kicks and punches with lightening-quick authority.
