| Word Up? Aiight, i made this page so i can say what i want and my opinions and shit. First Off, Y'all are probably wondering why i havnt been updating my site during the last month. This is what happened, My computer crashed and totally fucked up the week before i was going to europe, so i couldnt update my site before i left. So, i went to europe for 3 weeks and i came back and my computer wasnt fixed up yet, so a week after i get back its ready and i got it back last night. So, thats why this site hasnt been updated in the last month. And I wont have much time to update the site, since i started school again. Aiight, 2nd of all the indivdual wu-members sites are not finshed, just Method Man, RZA and most of GZA's....i dont know when i will get all of this done, i was hoping i would have it done in the summer. Im going to try to get them done before mid-october, like i said before i dont have a great deal of time to update this site. I will probably only be updating the site 2 or 3 times a week. By Now, most of you have heard atleast 1 of the 3 new wu-tracks avaiable on the internet. I've heard 3. I only liked one of them the first time I heard it and thats Careful Click, Click...that song is da shit, if you havnt heard it...fuck, plain and simple its fucking tight. Gravel Pits was the first new wu-track i heard. I didnt like it much at first, i was disappointed with it, but it dose grow on you. I'm glad they changed gravel pits for being the first single. The new first single, Protect Ya Neck The Jump Off. It starts off very tight, with fire trucks going and inspectah deck talking...and we all know deck is the best in the clan at opening up tracks. Deck drops a nice verse, but it wasnt long enough. Raekwon is next, he drops a nice verse as dose method man. Then Masta Killa drops a very tight verse (he actually listened to the beat for once). RZA is next up, not a bad verse but the 'bobby' ruines it. Ghostface starts off singing, which i think sounds completey wack. U-God dosn't sound to good on this beat, Cappa sounds good but who the hell knows what he is takling about. Last but not least is Genius/GZA he drops the best verse on this track and is a good closer but to bad it wasnt longer. Overall, i wasnt to impressed, but its not a bad track. Careful Click, Click is by far the best of the 3 ive heard. Everyone on the track rips it up, i would have made it the first single. The album is now offical titled "THE W" and will drop Novemver 21. Anyone who has the new source mag. has probably seen that sick ad for the wu-album...the one with the bees in the form of the wu-symbol, fucking sick. Anyone that hasnt heard protect ya neck or gravel pits, im added them to the music section...im going to try to get careful click, click also. I'm done wit this. I'll probably update this every week or something. peace |
