After winning his main event match on Sunday, Ric Flair -- along with Arn Anderson, referee Charles Robinson and several lovely ladies -- came to Cincinnati to brag about his fourteenth championship reign, and recent appointment to WCW President for life. But the Nature Boy's bragging was cut short by Goldberg, who demanded a title shot later that evening.

The Horsemen seemed surprised by the challenge, but they were stunned when Kevin Nash arrived.

TNT's Monday Nitro from Cincinnati, Ohio

Show Results

Back at the hotel, David Flair was checking into his room. Sam's friend and accomplice, Mrs. Robinson, watched in the background. Ernest "The Cat" Miller and Sonny Onoo met with reporters. Undaunted by his loss at Uncensored (see match results), Cat still insisted on his greatness and danced up a storm.

Meng d. Jerry Flynn
Adorned in a new gold suit, Meng took the best that Flynn had to offer -- including a impressive barrage of martial arts maneuvers. Frustrated, Flynn missed a spinkick, and was caught in the Tongan Death Grip.

Ricki Rachman was shown hosting another Nitro Party, featuring the lovely Nitro Girls and a bunch of rowdy college types.

A commercial played for MTV's Beachbrawl. Superstars like Saturn and Kidman wrestled in a Cancun battle royal, while Jimmy Hart and Raven commentated. The Nitro Girls also made an appearance.

At the hotel, David Flair arrived and entered the elevator. The NWO's Mrs. Robinson followed him. After talking to him in the elevator, Mrs. Robinson conned her way into David's room.

Stills were shown of the Uncensored Triangle Match, featuring Hak, Bam Bam Bigelow and Raven. Chastity cost her brother this match and left with the King of Hardcore. Rachman spoke to Raven at the Nitro Party. The former Flock leader said he should have seen the betrayal coming, since he lit Chastity's hair on fire when they were young.

Rick Steiner d. Chris Adams
Continuing his victorious return, Steiner chewed up Adams like a dog toy. Adams tried to match blows with Steiner unsuccessfully, so the British superstar attempted to use several submission moves and a Superkick. No luck. The Dog-faced Gremlin remained tough and won with the Steinerdog.

While Mike Tenay plugged his comprehensive Monday hotline, the Wolfpac music began to play and Disco Inferno walked over to the commentating area. Disco demanded that WCW make him a music video. Instead, Nitro played Konnan's video -- only to find that Disco had superimposed himself onto the video. A Nitro classic.

At the hotel, Kevin Nash and Sam watched a video camera placed in David Flair's room. Mrs. Robinson tried to seduce the youngster, but David professed his love for Sam. Nash was angry at Sam and accused her of caring for David. Big Sexy also threatened to fire both Sam and Mrs. Robinson.

At the Nitro party, Norman Smiley tried to teach Rachman to dance, and failed miserably.

Stills were shown of the Hollywood Hogan-Ric Flair match-up at Uncensored (see match results).

Backstage, the Horsemen limousine arrived. Ric Flair, Arn Anderson and four of Ohio's finest walked towards the ring. Anderson invited referee Charles Robinson to walk with Flair.

Gene Okerlund Interview: Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Charles Robinson and the chicks.
Okerlund accused Robinson of cheating, but Robinson only shared his esteem for his boss, the Nature Boy, and claimed he was trying to protect Hogan by ending the match. Flair bragged about being the President and his newfound power, but was interrupted by Goldberg.

Goldberg told Flair that he'd almost beat him a week earlier, and demanded a title shot, later that evening. That's when Kevin Nash arrived...

Big Sexy claimed he was the number one contender, since he had beaten Goldberg. The interview had turned into a melee -- and then came, Hollywood Hogan.

Hogan accused Flair of misusing his corporate credit card, and demanded a rematch. Flair refused. The NWO then suggested the ultimate match: Hogan and Nash versus Goldberg and Flair. The match was set.

Backstage, Vince accused Horace Hogan of costing him the match at Uncensored (see match results). Horace said he gave both men an equal chance. Vince claimed he was still the leader of the original NWO; Horace claimed the same.

Rey Mysterio, Jr. d. Billy Kidman
Cruiserweight Title Match
Perhaps, the most impressive match-up of talent in WCW, Mysterio-Kidman matches always prove to be stunning -- this time, these guys shut down the house. Dozens of aerials, hurracanranas and lightning exchanges, both men reinvented their offenses. After multiple pinning predicaments, Kidman failed on two Shooting Star Press attempts, and Rey won with a Super Bulldog.

Backstage, Stevie Ray accused Horace of almost costing him the match. Big Heat claimed he was still the leader of the original NWO; Horace claimed the same. Stevie Ray leveled Horace, and told Disco to tell Hollywood not to mess with him. After Stevie Ray left, Horace said he'd fight Stevie Ray later that evening.

Gene Okerlund Interview: Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit
Benoit thanked the Iceman, and reveled in their victory at Uncensored (see match results). Malenko shared the same sentiment. Okerlund said the Horsemen would defend their belts later that evening.

Stills from the Lumberjack Tag Team Championship Match from Uncensored (see match results).

Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko d. Barbarian and Hugh Morrus with Jimmy Hart
Tag Team Title Match
The Horsemen were focused and explosive, but Hart's team proved to be just too large. Morrus and Barbarian wore down Malenko with double-teams and outside interference, but the Iceman made the important tag and unleashed the Crippler. Hart's charges still managed one more comeback, but Barbarian inadvertently kicked Morrus, and set-up and Benoit headbutt splash.

Big Poppa Pump and Buff Bagwell Interview
Surprisingly, Pump pumped up his own ego -- before accusing Bagwell of costing him the TV Title (see match results). Buff Daddy fought back, but tried to apologize. The teammates hugged, but then BPP belly-to-belly suplexed Bagwell through the mat. Afterwards, Steiner hit him with a chair and applied the Steiner Recliner.

Stevie Ray d. Horace Hogan
The original NWO in-fighting continued, in this battle of 300 lb. bruisers. Vince came down with a chair and attempted to help Horace, but ended up clobbering Hollywood's nephew.

Disco Inferno d. Konnan
Pre-match, Konnan called out Disco Inferno. Disco had a few moments of dominance, but then got punked by K-Dogg, who beat the dancing fool down the isle. Enter Lex Luger and Elizabeth. For the second day in a row, the Total Package cost someone a match. Using his cast, Luger downed Konnan and gave Disco the pin.

Booker T d. Chris Jericho
TV Title Match
In the spirit of his battles with Perry Saturn, Fit Finlay and Chris Benoit, Booker T. embarked on another classic contest with Chris Jericho. Despite their grueling matches last night, both competitors wowed the crowd with creative roll-ups, power moves, and inspired counters. Jericho tried to manipulate the referee to gain an advantage, but cost himself the match.

MAIN EVENT: Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash d. Ric Flair and Goldberg
Goldberg started the match by attacking Flair, and leaving the Champ at the mercy of Hogan and Nash. Goldberg was tagged and took control, and refused to re-tag Flair. The Nature Boy decided to come in anyway, and referee Charles Robinson insisted a tag was made. Soon the match broke down, with all men fighting ferociously -- and Hollywood Hogan exhibiting the invincibility of his past. Hogan pinned Flair, but Robinson refused to make the count. Hogan decked the official, but was then attacked by Goldberg as the show ended.
