Rock Interview.
- The Rock said at WrestleMania XV, he would prove he was the great one when he attempts to defeat Stone Cold Steve Austin with the Heavyweight Title on the line. The Rock called out Vince McMahon. McMahon said he smelled what The Rock was cooking and that it was a load of monkey crap. He called The Rock by his real name, "Dwayne." McMahon explained to The Rock what he did for him, his father, and his grandfather. McMahon said his family had been looking after The Rock's family for three generations. He said he brought in Paul Wight to keep the Heavyweight Title in the family, and would make sure The Rock defeated Austin at WrestleMania. Wight came out, who now had the name, "The Big Show." McMahon told Wight he was brought in to do a job and did it well thus far. McMahon said Wight always got his way. McMahon slapped Wight. Wight grabbed McMahon by the collar and said never to hit him again. McMahon apologized to both of them and said they would team up later in the show to take on Austin and Mankind, so things could be settled between the two.
Two workers came down to ringside and started to build something. Jerry Lawler got up and asked the men what they were building. All they said was they were told to build it, nothing else.
Road Dogg defeated Val Venis with a DDT, to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
- Road Dogg did his introduction in the beginning, and got a huge pop. He and Val Venis wrestled a good, solid match. Road Dogg gave Venis a big DDT and got the pin. Billy Gunn ran down and congratulated his partner, James.
Backstage, Lucas of WWF.COM tried to get a word with Road Dogg, but D-Generation X was too busy partying and kicked him out. They took the microphone. RD said since he was now the Intercontinental Champion, he was coming after The Rock. Billy Gunn was very happy for RD, and joked around, saying he wanted a shot at the title.
Shane McMahon (w/Vince McMahon) defeated LOD 2000 (Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco) via Pinfall in a non-title match.
- X-Pac was viewing the match backstage. The Stooges, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, came out with LOD 2000 gear. Shane McMahon used his European Title to beat Brisco and Patteron. When Shane and his father were heading back to the locker room, The Undertaker's voice was heard over the arena. A live shot of Vince McMahon's house was shown on the Titan Tron. The Undertaker said, "The lights are on, but no one is home. But when 'she' comes, I will get her." Members of The Ministry circled the house. McMahon and Shane were shocked to see what they were looking at.
Backstage, Vince McMahon called security that was at his house. They said they saw no one.
Jim Ross and Steve Williams made their ways down to the ringside area. Ross removed the wrapping that was on an announcer's table that the men had built earlier in the show. Ross did commentary throughout the show, and he and Michael Cole interrupted each other, or basically said the same thing. Williams stood by Ross the entire time. Ross continually referred to Williams as "my boy" in a sarcastic way.
Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart (w/Debra) defeated Public Enemy via Pinfall, to retain the Tag Team Titles.
- The announcer's kept discussing the fact that no one wanted Public Enemy in the WWF. As the match went on, Jeff Jarrett nailed a guitar over Johnny Grunge's head in front of the referee for the win, which obviously meant exactly what the announcers were discussing - no one wanted PE in the WWF. Jim Ross went on, saying Jarrett and Owen Hart should of been disqualified since the referee saw the guit shot.
Backstage, Vince McMahon called the Sheriff in Greenwich, Connecticut. McMahon said he needed Sheriff to go over to his home, because the security guards were too scared to look around. The Sheriff thought it was a publicity stunt. Shane and Vince were scared. They tried to remain calm and said nothing would happen. The phone rang. Shane picked it up and said, "It's him (Undertaker)." McMahon hung up the phone once The Undertaker said it was almost 10:00pm and he was waiting for his family.
Backstage, Vince McMahon huddled with The Corporation to organize a plan.
Hard-Time Steel Cage Match: The Big Bossman and Midian went to a No-Contest.
- The Big Bossman opened the door of the cage when Team Corporte was coming down the ramp. Midian was bleeding from the mouth once The Corporation beated on him. Vince McMahon took the microphone and said that he knew The Undertaker could see what was going on. McMahon said The Corporation would destroy Midian if The Ministry didn't leave his home. The Undertaker and the rest of The Ministry appeared on the Titan Tron. The Undertaker said he didn't care what The Corporation did, since he was going to do what he promised. Meanwhile, a car pulled up to the driveway of McMahon's home. The video feed cut off.
Backstage, Shane McMahon called his home, but no would answer.
Footage was shown of Jerry Lawler recieving a tour of the Playboy Mansion, courtesy of Sable. Hugh Heffner, owner of Playboy Magazine, appeared in the footage.
Sable Interview, Conducted by Jerry Lawler.
- Sable showed her Playboy spread on the Titan Tron, which was censored, letting everyone down. She said if we wanted to see more, we would have to purchase a Playboy Magazine. Tori made her way down. She said she was willing to give the fans what they wanted for free. Tori said she finally realized Sable was just a plain woman, and there was not one thing that was spectacular about her. Tori challenged Sable to a match for WrestleMania XV, and then stripped Sable down to her bra and panties.
At Vince McMahon's home, a police officer (most likely the Sherriff) searched, but found nothing.
Billy Gunn defeated Bob Holly via Pinfall, to become the new Hardcore Champion.
- Bob Holly and Billy Gunn used chairs and glass pitchers. Holly got flipped over the ropes onto Jim Ross' table, which Ross started screaming about. He blamed Holly. Gunn laid a chair down and gave Holly a Rocker Dropper, pinned, him, and became the new Hardcore Champion.
Backstage, Vince McMahon phoned the police again, and said to keep looking. Later, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco were attempting to convince McMahon that The Ministry had left. The Undertaker's voice was heard. A shot of McMahon's house was shown on the screen. The Undertaker said he knew when "she" would be arriving, and he would be there to greet her. The Undertaker Symbol was shown and burned.
Triple H Interview.
- Triple H said he knew that fire that Kane shot the previous Monday on Raw is War was meant for him, but instead hit Chyna. He called out Kane, using the word "bitch." Kane made his way down, and he and Triple H immediately started to brawwl. Vince McMahon made his way out and told Kane he needed his help. Kane removed his mask and revealed himself as The Undertaker. The lights went off, and said, "It's that easy. Any time, any where."
Backstage, Vince McMahon was shown shaken up and very scared.
Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mankind vs. The Rock and Paul Wight went to a No-Contest.
- The Rock and Paul Wight beat on Mankind early in the match, because Stone Cold Steve Austin had not yet made his entrance. Mankind almost fought the entire match, until a tag was finally made to Austin. Austin beat on The Rock and all four men continued to brawl on the outside. Austin laid The Rock on the announcer's table and climbed the baracades (guardrails). Austin elbowed The Rock through the table. The show went off the air as the two teams continued to brawl. |
