Micasa reports that WWF's Public Enemy's Rocko Rock, who debuted this Monday on a taped RAW is WAR, will have to change his name, because the WWF already has a main eventer with the name "Rock" in it. This is partially true, however the reasoning behind it is absurd. Rocco Rock, as well as Jonny Grunge may have to change their names, not because of a current WWF Superstar, but rather because of copyright laws. The ECW has held the legal rights to the name Public Enemy, as well as both Rocco Rock and Jonny Grunge. They allowed for these table carrying tag to use the name in WCW in exchange for a cash suppliment, however WWF and ECW have not officially come to terms. Public Enemy is not currently under WWF contract, but if the World Wrestling Federation decideds to sign them, this may become a problem. However, expect it to be resolved through the exchanging of talent that is so frequently used in the ECW/WWF relationship.
