• The first hour of Nitro consisted of only videos, promos, highlights, etc. including such boring things as that Nitro Party garbage, Nitro Girl bios and scratchy Nash and Hogan skits.

The show opened with a video of the construction of the steel cage that will be used for the Ric Flair vs. Hollywood Hogan First-Blood Heavyweight Title match at Uncensored. The steel cage would have no doors, barbed wire at the top, with the stipulations of if Flair lost, he would retire, but if he won, he would take over WCW permanently.

• Frequent updates were shown throughout the show of The Nitro Party going on in Providence, Rhode Island. It was hosted by Ricky Rachtman as usual, and The Nitro Girls, Konnan, and Kidman were in attendance. Konnan later talked about a new video that was in the works. Kidman was also at the party. He talked later on with Rachtman about his status in the Cruiserweight Title division.

• A video about Nitro Girl, A.C. Jazz, was aired.

• The NWO video where Hollywood Hogan insulted Ric Flair and added stipulations to their First-Blood Heavyweight Title match at Uncensored was shown.

• The latest Konnan video was aired.

• Another NWO video was shown. This time, Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash were listening to the Ric Flair interview from the 3/1 Nitro. They criticized Flair throughout the interview. Nash mentioned that David Flair would be turning 20-years-old next week. Nash said that he and Hogan would have to talk to Torrie Wilson about David, going to "Plan B."

• A brief Lex Luger video was shown of him dominating past opponents in the ring.

• Pre-recorded footage was shown of Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell pulled over by police in their Spring Break '99 hummer in Boston, Massachusetts. They were asked to step out of their vehicle. The police officers immediately recognized them. The officers said Steiner and Batgwell would only get off the hook if they became temporary police officers, as they were handed tickets, badges, and hats. Bagwell and Steiner gave tickets to people for smoking, not paying a parking fee, and litering, although they arrested people purposely. They went back into the police headquarters and handed the police equipment back to the two officers.

• Another NWO video was shown. Torrie Wilson was practicing her gun shooting at the local practice building. Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash walked in, saying they wanted to meet with Wilson later. Nash told her to wear something nice. When returning from a commercial break, another video was shown. Hogan, Nash, and Wilson were eating dinner at a restaurant. Hogan said they had David Flair right where they wanted him, and his dad didn't even care about him. They said they would go to "Plan B" for David. Wilson said she would bring in a woman, much better looking than her, for David. That friend of Wilson's walked in and sat down with the group. Hogan asked her if she was up to the task. She said yes, and mentioned the plan was to seduce David. Nash said the woman wold make $20,000 if the job was done in at least a week. Wilson, jokingly, said she could seduce David in a matter of minutes.

• Goldberg was scheduled to do an interview with Gene Okerlund to kick off the second hour, but The Wolfpac entrance theme played instead, as David Flair and Torrie Wilson made their ways down. David said he wouldn't leave the arena until he talked man to man with his father. Wilson joked, saying they wouldn't stand in the ring in their underwear and handcuff themselves to the ropes. Instead of Ric Flair making his way down, Goldberg did. Goldberg told David that he had a lot of respect for his family, and because of that, he wouldn't beat up David. Goldberg said David had to learn respect for his father, saying he had done so much for the business for the past 25 years. Goldberg also said that David had no respect for him. David started to point his finger on Goldberg's chest, which caused Goldberg to push David in the corner. Goldberg started to choke David, and get in his face. Flair saw what was going on from the backstage area, and ran down to the ring to save his son. Flair slapped Goldberg on the chest, and Goldberg responded with a gorilla press-slam. Flair said Goldberg should of never messed with him, since he was the President of WCW and the greatest of all-time. Goldberg said Flair lost his mind. Flair was booed at first but then received an ovation the second time he spoke. Flair responded by saying he would soon become the next Heavyweight Champion of WCW. Goldberg told Flair had crossed the line. Flair said since he crossed the line, he wanted Goldberg in a match later in the show. Goldberg said he loved it and accepted.

• Falls Count Anywhere: Raven (w/Chastity) and Hak went to a No-Contest.
- Raven threw Hak into the barbed wire in the beginning of the match, and also slammed his head a few times with the signapore cane. After Hak gave Raven a guillotine legdrop from the canvas near the guardrail, the fans chanted, "ECW." They took it near the entranceway, where Raven suplexed Hak onto the steel ramp. Raven went to the back, and returned with a table. Hak was placed on the table, and Raven climbed the top of the Nitro entrance set up. He landed down on Hak, breaking the table. Bam Bam Bigelow made his way in, and wasted no time beating down on Raven and Hak. We heard the bell ring, but it was inadvertant. The match continued. The three took it to the backstage area. Hak was slammed into a ladder upside down and and his face also suffered a smashing. Chastity watched on. They started to use different trash receptacles to their advantage, and the steel of an ambulance. They took it to the hood of Ric Flair's limousine, breaking the glass. Raven Even-Flowed Hak onto the hood of the limo. Later, Raven rammed Hak's head into the wind-shield of the car, causing it to break even more. The match ended once WCW left to a commercial break.

• Dog Collar Match: Chris Jericho (w/Ralphus) defeated Lizmark, Jr. by making him submit to the Lion Tamer.
- Chris Jericho had a dog collar and chain with him. He discussed his upcoming Dog Collar Match with Saturn at Uncensored, saying he was the master of that kind of gimmick match. He said he would prove it to the Jericholics that he was the master of dog collar matches by making "Lizzy" (Lizmark, Jr.) participate. The two both put their dog collars on, and were connected with a long chain. Jericho showboated a lot, which let Lizmark take the advantage for a certain amount of time, but not until Jericho caught him in the Lion Tamer for the win.

• Scott Steiner (w/Buff Bagwell) defeated Booker T. by making him submit to the Steiner Recliner, to retain the Television Title.
- Before the match, Scott Steiner insulted the crowd. He bragged about his body, and once again called himself a genetic freak. He said by time the night was over, someone would be calling him Big Bad Booty Daddy. Bagwell said Booker T. would go down. As Booker took the advantage, he was ready to execute the Missle Dropkick. Steiner held the referee back, while Bagwell knocked Booker off the top rope. Steiner then strapped Booker in the Steiner Recliner. Booker's faace looked like he was about to black out, and he did, which caused him the defeat. Following the match, Steiner and Bagwell hit Booker a few times with a chair.

• Backstage, Gene Okerlund interviewed Jerry Flynn about his upcoming Handicap-Karate match with Ernest Miller and Sonny Onoo at Uncensored. Onoo interrupted before Flynn could even speak. Onoo offered Flynn money for him to join Miller. Flynn pushed Onoo out of the way, causing dollar bills to fly everywhere. Miller popped out from behind Flynn, and clocked him to the floor. Onoo then cut off the ponytail to Flynn's hair.

• Rey Mysterio, Jr. defeated Scott Norton via Pinfall.
- Scott Norton dominated Rey Mysterio, Jr. At one point, Nortn used a one-handed powerslam on Mysterio. Out of no where, Mysterio hit a forearm, followed by a kick for another giant-killing victory.

• Bret Hart defeated Van Hammer by making him submit to the Sharpshooter.
- After Bret Hart was able to kick out of Van Hammer's Flashback finishing maneuver, he took the win with the Sharpshooter. Following th ematch, Hart slammed Hammer's legs with a chair.

• Goldberg and Ric Flair went to a No-Contest. - Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash did color commentary with Tony Schiavone. They basically acted cool and critcized Ric Flair throughout. Goldberg dominated in the beginning, slamming Flair down to the canvas. Flair took the advantage several times by low-blowing Goldberg. The crowd booed whenever Flair low-blowed (heel turn is coming). Flair cheated his way through again, by using ropes as leverage when hooking Goldberg in the Figure-Four Leglock. Goldberg later reversed the submission maneuver, but Flair escaped. Later, Flair was speared, which was the moment Wolfpac and NWO black and white members made their ways down to the ring. Goldberg at first threw everyone out of the ring, but was then out-numbered. Flair started to get involved, but was also out-numbered.
