-"Lots" of official WWF wrestlers. Though THQ isn't commenting, it's a safe bet to assume that everyone from Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock to The Undertaker, Mankind, and HHH will make an appearance in the game.
-"Lots" of official rings and events. All your favorite pay-per-view shows and happenings.
-Create-a-wrestler feature. While it probably won't be as extensive as the one found in WWF Attitude, it seems almost a given that if THQ hopes to compete in the wrestling war, it's going to have to step up to the competition and deliver this option.
-Stat tracking.
-Arcade-style scores at end of match.
-Championship mode.
-Super enhanced wrestler entrances. This is already evident in the screen-shots we've provided. Asmik/Aki set the standard for videogame wrestling glitz with WCW Revenge. WWF Wrestlemania 2000 will no doubt expand upon what we've seen from the developer thus far.
-Full grappling system.
-Hidden weapons.
-Television-style instant replay feature.
-Realistic polygon models and real-life texture face-maps of athletes.
-Hugely improved crowd graphics.
-Combo move system.
-Rumble Pak compatibility.
-Four-player support.
-EEPROM save feature?

I was just talking with one of THQs Public Relations people, and they informed me that the current release date for WrestleMania 2000 is sometime in November 99.

The screens look great and this game will be huge. I just have a few things on my mind. What will the intros be like? WCW/NWO Revenge had great intros but no real intro music. Will there be authentic tunes in this game? Also will there be some form of career mode in the game? I hope they can have a race for the belts and include elements like feuds. Well, thanks and keep up the great work guys.
It's safe to assume that the intros in Wrestlemania 2000 will be hugely improved over any THQ wrestler to date. Look at the smoke effect in the Undertaker shot and you can already see major enhancements. Whether or not the game features digitized music remains to be, uh, heard, but I'm guessing Asmik/Aki will probably stick with the MIDI stuff unless, of course, THQ forks over the cash for a bigger cartridge. Considering the fact that this year around THQ is competing directly with Attitude for the WWF title, Wrestlemania 2000 is going to have to serve up the goods on every level if it is to have any chance. On another note, I've no details on the career mode or feuds yet.

A lot of people have been wondering what systems this game will be coming out for. As of right now it is only for N64, this is straight from THQ. But I would assume that they will also be making this game, or maybe another title for the Playstation and N64.
