The Kode Generator is the another tool u will use to in Kode making. See the memory editor lets u see all the addresses located in the game. The Kode Generator lets you discover what values change in the memory editor as you do actions in the game.
See, the kode generator lets you choose between values in the Memory Editor. You can only look up 8 or 16 bit values in the Kode Generator. Of course it is harder to narrow down to where you want in an 8bit value search. Start with a 16bit value search and if that doesnt work, then do a dreaded 8 bit value search.
Recall an 8 bit is like FF and a 16 bit is like FFFF. So u can look for a known value. Say I want to find the value C010. Now, if you converted correctly, it will give you all the addresses that have the default value of C010 or the value you search for. Or, you can do an unknown value search. What value changes when I do this? Thats what you wanna find, correct? Then u can do it again. Then you have the Greater Than, Less Than, Equal To, and Different To value options. This is really one of the keys in making Kodes.
Lets say you wanted all 5s for Offense in Body Parts. Go to Edit at the Main Menu in WWF WrestleMania 2000. Now, bring all of your values to a 1 so it reads all ones right down the list. Now, hit the GameShark button (located on the front of the GameShark) and you will arrive at the GameShark In-Game Main Menu. Now highlight the Kode Generator tab and press A. Highlight and press Start. When its done, press Start. Now, increase the head value to a 2. Now, go back to the Kode Generator and press Greater Than. When it's done, press Start. Now make the head value a 3. Back in the Kode Generator, press Greater Than again. Now, make the head value a 4. Back in the Kode Generator, press Greater Than again. Now, make the head value a 5. Back in the Kode Generator, press Greater Than. Now, press Start and do nothing. Back in the Kode Generator, press Equal To. Now, lower the value to a 4. Back in the Kode Generator, press Less Than. Now, lower the value to a 3. Back in the Kode Generator, press Less Than. Now, lower the value to a 2. Back in the Kode Generator, press Lower Than. Now, change the value to a 1. Back in the Kode Generator, press Less Than. Then, press Start and do nothing. Back in the Kode Generator, press Equal To. Now, click View Results. Now, you can record down these results or you click on the Kodes that you want to turn on. If nothing happens, dont worry. The reason for this is probably because the picture wont change while on the same screen. So, go out to the Fighting Skills Menu and then go back to the Offense Menu. (Note: you should keep doing the Kode Generat thing until you get less than 25 Kodes, your results should then come out positive. Also, only turn one kode on at a time from the Kode Generator Menu).
Now, say one Kode changes and seems to be right. Now, I would write the address down. Or I can view it and just change the value from the view results. This is a shortcut so u dont have to put it in your GameShark WWF WrestleMania 2000 section. Remember that if when your kode works here and it doesnt when u put it in your selected kodes it doesnt, you know you need an activator.
If you do the same Kode Generator process for the all 5s in Defense, then *surprise*, its the same addresses.
The always Special player 1 GameShark Kode is a no-brainer. I think you should try it by yourself and pretend that you dont have it. Start with your spirit. Hit the analog stick. When your spirit rises up do a Different Than in the Kode Genertor. Keep doing this same process. When you do the always special, do a Equal To in the Kode Generator until the spirit turns into a special. Now, do a Different Than before in the Kode Generator. Keep doing it until you have the address you need and view the results and all.
