The show opened with clips of what happened on this past Monday's Nitro. These clips including Goldberg's appearance, Jeff Jarrett's match with Sting, and more.

Eric Bischoff made his way to the ring along with guys that appeared to be lawyers. One can only assume that this would have something to do with the fact that Bischoff said Goldberg would be suspended tonight. Bischoff said that his big surprise Sunday would definitely be the biggest damn thing he's ever done. Bischoff said that Goldberg would be suspended for 90 days without pay. Bischoff then said that Jarrett was injured on Nitro at the hands of Sting and his match with Kevin Nash at The Great American Bash would be postponed. Bischoff introduced World Champion Jarrett, who came out with casts and braces all over his body.
-Jarrett said that his millions of slapnuts would be disappointed, but you can thank Sting for it. Jarrett questioned what kind of a man Sting was. Jarrett apologized to a few people, including Kevin Nash, then Nash's music hit and he came out to the ring.

-Nash got in the ring and Jarrett said he was sorry, but Nash said he was sorry and that he was really looking foward to kicking Jarrett's ass. Nash had a bat in his hand and said that he brought it down to take Jarrett's temperature. Nash hit Jarrett with the bat, went for a powerbomb, but Bischoff swung the bat at Nash. Nash took the bat and hit the lawyers and Jarrett again. Jarrett ran away and his casts fell off. Nash said he would see Jarrett on Sunday.

Captain Rection was shown talking to the MIA and preparing them for a big task tonight.

Vince Russo was shown bringing some old ladies out of a vehicle.

Commercial break.

Daffney was shown asking David Flair why he hadn't called her in a week. David said they had to get ready for some kind of party.

Eric Bischoff, Jeff Jarrett, Kimberly, and The Cat were in the back arguing with each other. Bischoff kicked everyone out and said he needed a minute.

Match 1: Lieutenant Loco vs. Disco Inferno vs. Daffney, Cruiserweight Title.
-Konnan got on the mic and said something that was a waste of time as usual.

-Loco put Disco in the corner and chopped him, and then Disco took a Frankensteiner from Daffney. Crobar got in the ring and jumped over the top rope, taking out the entire MIA. Miss Hancock came out with her clipboard and got into an argument with Daffney. Kimberly then came out and shoved Hancock into Daffney. Major Gunz argued with Kimberly, but Kimberly walked away.

-Back in the ring, Rey Mysterio gave Loco a Bronco Buster. G. I. Bro gave Disco a Rock Bottom and pulled Loco on top for the win and the Cruiserweight Title. Captain Rection told Major Gunz to revive Loco, so she ripped her shirt off and gave him mouth-to-mouth.
-Winner: Lieutenant Loco.

Kidman was shown in the back talking to Torrie and telling her that he what he did Monday would never happen again.

Vince Russo told The Cat that he was going to make his night and he something special planned for him.

Commercial break.

They showed what happened during the break. The Cat told the members of the MIA who were not involved in the next match to go to the back.

Match 2: Major Stash vs. Kidman.
-Kidman got on the mic and apologized to Torrie.

-Stash took Kidman down early and sent Horace out of the ring. Stash gave Kidman an inverted atomic drop and a boot to the face. Hammer, I mean Stash, went to the outside and attacked Horace, but Horace came back and sent Stash into the ring steps. Kidman stomped on Stash and went to the top, but Stash crotched him and gave him a big superplex. The referee had his back turned and Horace gave Stash a Death Valley Driver. Kidman then dropped an elbow from the top and got the win.

-Kidman begged Torrie to come out and she obliged. Kidman said they always talked about their first fight and how much fun it would be to make up. Torrie then slapped Kidman and walked away.
-Winner: Kidman.

The Cat was shown trying to teach the old people how to dance. One lady told The Cat that she would knock the bleach out of his hair.

Commercial break.

Vince Russo made his way to the ring along with David Flair and the old people. Several balloons feel in the arena and a cake was brought in the ring.
-David Flair welcomed everyone to his father's retirement party.

-Russo said that his record as a professional wrestler is 2-0, and that he beat Reid and Ric Flair within a week. Russo showed the welts on his chest that he got when Flair chopped him. An old guy rolled a big cake down to the ring, and Russo thought that Flair was in it. Russo tried to get Flair out of the cake, but Flair got in the ring and attacked David. Russo was still in the cake and Flair attacked him. Flair hit David low and put Russo into the other cake. Russo threw pieces of the cake into the crowd.

Rick Steiner and Tank Abbot were show making their way into the building as Goldberg's monster truck looked on.

Commercial break.

Bischoff was shown on the phone saying that if Goldberg stepped one foot inside the building, he wanted him arrested.

Match 3: The Mamalukes vs. The Wall, Hardcore Title.
-It was announced that Eric Bischoff gave his Hardcore Title to The Mamalukes, but it was not known which was the Champion, or if both were.

-The match started in the back, with Vito and Johnny double-teaming The Wall. They got in the ring and The Wall continued to take a beating. Vito and Johnny tried to double-clothesline The Wall, but The Wall ducked and clotheslined both of them down. The Wall then chokeslammed Johnny and put a table in the ring. The Wall kicked Vito in the head and dropped Johnny throat first across the top rope.

-The Wall set the table up in the middle of the ring and Vito went to the top rope. The Wall tried to chokeslam him off the top through the table, but Shane Douglas came in and powerbombed The Wall through the table. Vito came off the top with a splash for the win.
-Winners: The Mamalukes.

After the last match, The Wall got up and chased Douglas into the crowd. Tank Abbot then walked down the aisle and knocked out both Vito and Johnny. Abbot said that he was not done with Goldberg and he wanted a re-match anywhere, anytime. Abbot said that Goldberg got lucky. He then said that he would make Scott Steiner his freak at The Great American Bash. Abbot then challenged Kevin Nash to a match later in the night. Abbot harassed Tony Schivone's son. The son threw a drink on Abbot.
-Kevin Nash came out and attacked Abbot. Rick Steiner came out and attacked Nash. Scott Steiner came out and attacked Rick. Abbot and Steiner walked away. Bischoff came out and said that Scott Steiner earned himself a shot at the New Blood Gauntlet.

Goldberg was shown entering the building.

Commercial break.

The Cat was shown arguing with police for some reason.

Mike Awesome pulled up in an ambulance.

Match 4: Corporal Cajun vs. Mike Awesome.
-Awesome immediately began beating on Canjun and slammed him to the mat. Awesome pulled a table from under the ring and put it in the ring. Awesome clotheslined Cajun down hard and set up the table. Awesome was about to Awesome Bomb Cajun through the table, but Diamond Dallas Page attacked him. Awesome took over on Page and gave him the Awesome Bomb through the table.
-Result: No-contest.

A limo pulled with Hollywood Hogan in it.

Commercial break.

Eric Bischoff was shown in the back again worrying about Goldberg.

Match 5: G. I. Bro and Captain Rection vs. Shawn Stasiak and Chuck Palumbo, Tag Team Titles.
-Sorry, but I didn't much of the beginning of the match, but I'll attempt to recap it to the best of my ability.

-Stasiak and Rection were in the ring and Stasiak pounded the back of Rection. Palumbo came in and dropkicked Rection as some guy on the outside talked to Major Gunz. Stasiak came in and suplexed Rection. Palumbo then took a powerslam from Rection. G. I. Bro came in and kicked ass. He took Palumbo down with a sidewalk slam, after sending Stasiak to the outside.

-Rection went to the top for his moonsault, but the guy that was talking to Gunz distracted him and Palumbo hit him with the Lex Flexer for the win. Kronic came in and attacked Palumbo and Stasiak. They gave Palumbo the High Time.
-Winners: Shawn Stasiak and Chuck Palumbo.

Match 6: Sting vs. The Cat.
-As Sting was making his way to the ring, Vampiro hit him with a fire entinguisher from behind and gave him the Stiner Splash and Scorpion Death Drop in the ring. Vampiro then took Sting toward the broadcast table and poursed gasoline on it. He then lit the table on fire and Sting put the fire and Vampiro out with the fire entinguisher. Vampiro gave Sting the Vampiro Bottom on the table and the table didn't break. Vampiro then said that Sting's flesh would burn on Sunday.
-Result: No-Contest.

Commercial break.

Gene Okerlund interviewed Hollywood Hogan, and Hogan said that it's good to be bad again. Hogan said he would beat Kidman on Sunday and get his World Title shot. He said that the New Blood would be history soon and he would make an example of Kidman on Sunday. Hogan started the "Whatcha gonna do?" line, but then he said we're way passed that and that he would just kick Kidman's ass.

Scott Steiner was shown making his way to the arena for his match with the New Blood.

Commercial break.

Match 7: Scott Steiner vs. The New Blood Gauntlet.
-Steiner got on the mic and said that he was coming for Russo after he got done with the New Blood. He also told Tank Abbot to stick some teeth in his mouth, so he had something to knock out.

-Chris Candido ran in and Steiner took him down with a German Suplex. Steiner soon pinned Candido and Shawn Stasiak came in. Steiner pinned Stasiak and Palumbo hit Steiner with the Lex Flexer. Kevin Nash was about to run in, but didn't. Palumbo picked up Midajah, but he took a low blow and a Steiner Recliner. He was eliminated, and The Cat came in. Steiner put him in the Recliner, but Mike Awesome came off the top with a clothesline.

-Nash was going to help Steiner and lose his title shot at the Bash, but Jarrett nailed him from behind. About seven guys were in the ring and they attacked Steiner. They put a straight jacket on Steiner and then put him in a body bag. Goldberg ran in and he was attacked several men, but he threw all of them off and kicked their asses. Bischoff came out with the cops and told Goldberg to consider himself under arrest as the show ended.
