Highlights from Nitro are shown. The show comes on, and Jeff Jarrett is talking to Smooth the limousine driver. The theme opening then plays followed by large amounts of pyrotechnics. WCW World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett makes his way to the ring with guitar in hand, and belt around waist. Jarrett brags about keeping the title from the four corners match on Monday night. Jarrett says the fat lady will sing on Hollywood Hogan at Bash at the Beach when "The Chosen One" goes down for the 1, 2, 3. Horace Hogan comes out and attacks Jarrett on behalf of his uncle. R&B Security comes out and pulls Horace away from Jarrett. WCW Commissioner The Cat comes out and announces a World Title match between the champion Jeff Jarrett and challenger Horace Hogan.

The Misfits in Action have an interview. Captain Rection tells Major Stash that they will face The Perfect Event in a non-title tag team match. Also, Lieutenant Loco will defend his Cruiserweight Title against his own partner, Corporal Cajun.

Gene Okerlund interviews "Positively" Kanyon. Kanyon says he's going to "Kanyon Cut" (Diamond Cut) everyone he sees. He eyes Okerlund, and "Mean" Gene runs away.

Cruiserweight Title Match
Lieutenant Loco (C) vs Corporal Cajun
The two partners equally battle each other, and get a few two counts on each other. Loco then gives Cajun a flying snap mare take over, and gets a two count after a huricanrana. Cajun gains the momentum after a powerslam, and gets a two count. Loco counters an Irish Whip into the ropes, and gives Cajun a pump handle suplex. Cajun rolls to the outside, and Loco follows with a suicide dive. Loco finishes off Cajun with a Tornado DDT.
Winner: Lieutenant Loco

Johnny "The Bull" is walking in a backstage hallway searching for his teacher, Terry Funk. He asks a nearby janitor where Funk is, and he replies saying he doesn't know. The janitor then turns around and hits Johnny with his mop. He then takes off his wig to reveal Terry Funk. Funk teaches Johnny another lesson.

Scott Steiner finds The Cat in his office. He says he's not going to wait until Bash at the Beach for Mike Awesome, demands The Cat to make a match with him and Awesome.

3 Count vs Mark Gentrach and Sean O'Hare
Gentrach and O'Hare control early on, but 3 Count slowly gains the advantage. Karagais applies a choke hold to Gentrach. Moments later, O'Hare is tagged in, and tosses Shannon Moore over the referee's head! Gentrach gives Moore a tild-a-whirl slam, and O'Hare finishes off the match with a senton bomb!
Winners: Mark Gentrach and Sean O'Hare
After the match, Tank Abbott comes out with a green square and dances with 3 Count. Moments later, Kronic comes out and attacks Tank Abbott and 3 Count. Moore is slammed down with a full nelson slam!

"Positively" Kanyon is backstage getting food from one of the cooks. The cook doesn't have any sauce for Kanyon's food, and Kanyon respondes with a "Kanyon Cutter" to the cook. He then looks into the camera and yells "BANG!"

Hardcore Non-Title Gauntlet Match
Big Vito (Hardcore Champion) vs Jung Dragons
Vito first pins Yang after a big splash from the top rope. Kaz Hayashi comes in next, and hits Vito with a crossbody block from the top rope; Vito kicks out after two. Moments later, Hayashi is pinned after a reverse splash. The masked Jami Sahn comes in next and dominates Vito. After a moonsault, russian leg sweep, and a big splash from the top rope, Vito again kicks out after two. Big Vito then gets up and hits the 3 members of the Jung Dragons with his kendo stick. All the sudden, another masked wrestler who looks like Jami Sahn enters the scene. He pins Vito after a missle drop kick. After the match, the second masked wrestler pulls his mask off to reveal Johnny "The Bull"!
Winners: Johnny "The Bull" and the Jung Dragons
After the match, Johnny "The Bull" and the Jung Dragons celebrate in the ring. Terry Funk is watching on backstage, and is proud of his student.

The Cat punishes Mike Awesome for interfering in the World Title match Monday night. Tonight he will face Scott Steiner.

Ms. Hancock is backstage getting her hair done. Daffney comes from behind and attacks Ms. Hancock, and dumps a bottle of baby powder all over her.

The Perfect Event takes away production crew member Woody Kirse. Kanyon then enters the scene and gives a different production crew member the "Kanyon Cutter."

Non-Title Tag Team Match
The Perfect Event (Tag Team Champions) vs Captain Rection and Major Stash
Stasiak and Palumbo attack Rection, and show no remorse as to letting Major Stash in the match. After reversing a vertical suplex, Rection tries to tag in Stash, but Stasiak pulls his legs away. Palumbo is tagged in, and gives Rection a sitting abdominal stretch. Stasiak is tagged in, and continues to dominate Rection and refuses to allow Rection to make a tag. Palumbo is tagged in again, and him and Rection both fall down after a double clothesline. Rection slowly but finally makes a tag into Stash. The M.I.A. get the win after Rection uses his "Raging Climax" moonsault onto Palumbo.
Winners: Captain Rection and Major Stash
After the match, Shawn Stasiak attacks Stash and Rection with the Lex Flexer. However, Kronic comes out and makes the save. Brian Adams gives Palumbo a full nelson slam, Bryan Clarke gives Stasiak the Meltdown, and both members of The Perfect Event are victims of the "High Time!"

Horace Hogan and Jeff Jarrett are shown walking backstage to the ringside area for the World Title match.

World Heavyweight Title Match
Jeff Jarrett (C) vs Horace Hogan
An energized Horace comes to the ring and quickly knocks down Jarrett with a series of clotheslines. The two battle on the outside and make their way into the crowd. Jarrett escapes the mayhem within the crowd, and hits Horace's leg with a steel chair. Jarrett continues to use the chair on the outside until the match is moves back in the ring. Jarrett remains with the upperhand, and stomps Horace inside the ring. Horace reverses and Irish Whip, and moves the match back outside. After slamming Jarrett onto the announcers table, Horace tosses Jarrett back inside, and gets a two count after a chokeslam! Jarrett gets up and hits Horace with a steel folding chair; Horace kicks out after two. Horace slowly gets up, and attempts to use the steel chair against Jarrett. However, Jarrett gets a hold of Horace, and gives him "The Stroke" onto the chair.
Winner: Jeff Jarrett
After the match, Jarrett begins to mock Hogan. He places a yellow Hulkster t-shirt over Horace's head, and begins flexing as Hogan would. Horace gets up and chokes Jarrett with the t-shirt, but Jarrett gets out of it, and hits Horace with the guitar.

Vampiro walks inside his locker room and finds a Sting mask. He slowly starts to put it over his face, but then gets hostile as the throws around everything in sight.

Vampiro comes down to the ring. He tells Dale Torborg he had him beat on Monday. Suddenly, a loud boom is heard, and the lights go completely out. Dale Torborg and Asya show up in the ring. Asya spits blood in Vampiro's face, and Torborg swings a baseball bat to Vampiro's midsection. Another loud boom is heard, and the lights go out again. When the lights come on to a dim, Torborg and Asya have vanished. Then a spotlight flashes to the top of the ThunderVision.

Gene Okerlund interviews Kidman and Lance Storm. Storm says he doesn't have to yell and scream to get his point across. He then says he sure as hell doesn't dance, because when you're from Calgary...Alberta, Canada, all you have to do is wrestle. Kidman says he will get revenge on the Filthy Animals for turning on him while he had a title shot. After the interview, Kanyon comes into the scene and "Kanyon Cutters" Gene Okerlund!

Shane Douglas approaches Kanyon. He says he loves Kanyon's book, and asks for it to be signed. Kanyon walks away, and Douglas laughs as he throws the book in the garbage.

Lance Storm and Kidman vs Juventud Guerrera and Rey Mysterio, Jr.
Juvi quickly gets a two count after a crucifix pin. Lance Storm then whips Juvi into the ropes, and quickly applies his finisher, the rolling half crab. Kidman is tagged in, and gives Guerrera a short powerbomb. Mysterio is tagged in, and drops down Kidman from the top with a bulldog. Guerrera is tagged back in, but is drop kicked by Kidman. Kidman makes the tag into Storm, and Storm gives both Guerrera and Mysterio a powerslam. After a cartwheel clothesline, Storm gives Mysterio a Northern Lights suplex; Juventud breaks the count. Moments later, "The Juice" attempts "The Juvi Elbow." However, Lance Storm stops it with a springboard missile drop kick. Kidman gets the pin after a splash from the top rope.
Winners: Lance Storm and Kidman

Paisley is making her way to the ring.

Kanyon meets The Cat in his office. Kanyon says he needs a match, and he needs it tonight. The Cat says "You got it!"

Tygress vs Paisley
Before the match starts, the referee forces all members of The Filthy Animals to leave the ringside area. Tygress gives Paisley a drop toe hold, and then applies a sleeperhold. After tossing Paisley by the hair, Tygress gets a one count. Tygress's straps to her top come off during the match, which causes a chant of "We want puppies!" from the crowd. Paisley gets the win after a scoop slam.
Winner: Paisley

Buff Bagwell vs "Positively" Kanyon
A fired up Kanyon begins the match by giving Buff a series up punches in the corner. After a vertical suplex, Kanyon begins to make a mockery of one Diamond Dallas Page. Kanyon goes up to the top rope for a superplex, but Buff pushes Kanyon off. As Buff signals for the "Buff Blockbuster", but Kanyon "Kanyon Cutters" the referee. A different referee comes out and calls for the bell.
Winner: Buff Bagwell by disqualification
After the match, Buff Bagwell continues to attack Kanyon thinking the match is not over. After a double arm DDT, Bagwell goes for the cover, and the fans of Lincoln, NE make the 3 count! Kanyon gets to his feet and hits Bagwell with a brick. Kanyon then starts to read a chapter out of his book "Positively Kanyon", but Booker T. comes out and attacks his opponent for Bash at the Beach. He then helps Bagwell to his feet.

Mike Awesome is walking to the ringside area. Scott Steiner is shown with Midajah preparing for his match against Awesome.

Non-Title Match
Mike Awesome vs Scott Steiner (United States Champion)
Steiner begins the match by giving Awesome a series of punches. After a whip to the ropes and a reverse atomic drop, Awesome is clotheslined to the outside. The two battle through the crowd. The two make their way back to the ringside area, and Steiner gives Awesome a double axe handle. The match finally gets back inside, and Steiner gives Awesome a Steinerline and drops down an elbow. Steiner goes up to the top with a 10-count punch, but Awesome counters with a low blow. Awesome gives Steiner a flying clothesline from the top rope. Moments later, Steiner regains control. He gives Awesome an overhead belly to belly suplex from the top rope. After a pumphandle suplex, Steiner gives Awesome the Steiner Recliner. The Cat comes out and tells the referee to break the hold. The referee won't do what he's told, and The Cat kicks the referee in the head. Steiner is then hit with the U.S. Title, and The Cat makes the 3 count.
Winner: Mike Awesome
After the match, The Cat and Mike Awesome continue to attack Scott Steiner.
