Earlier tonight...Eddie Guerrero and Chyna backstage and Chyna has brings up King of the Ring and the fact they are wrestling in the first round. Eddie says she can beat him any time she wants and she jumps on him. Dean Malenko comes in an tells Eddie he's no longer sexually frustrated and Chyna can be as happy as they are. Chyna says she's a lady and she can tell that these ladies are totally not happy. Dean starts to make move on Chyna and Eddie and Dean start to brawl.

The HeAT title. We go back to the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL for the pyros just one week away from King of the Ring

Eddie Guerrero w/Chyna vs. Dean Malenko w/hos
Chyna gives Dean a rose and Eddie attacks from behind. Eddie hits a flying shoulder to take him down then goes for a springboard plancha, but Dean moves. Dean hits a backslide for a two count. Eddie takes the right hands to Dean before whipping him. Eddie gets thrown off the top turn buckle and Dean attacks with right hands. Dean hits a powerbomb and gets a near fall. Dean with a pancake and he follows with a foream to the back of the head. Dean picks Eddie up in a fireman's carry then throws him over his head for a gutbuster. Dean hits a side suplex and gets a two count. Dean goes for another powerbomb, but Eddie goes all the way over and tries a dunset flip, but misses. Eddie goes outside and Dean hits a baseball slide. Dean throws Eddie back in then helps Chyna in stares at her breasts. Chyna throws him back in and Eddie hits a top rope huricanran and lands on his head for the win.
Winner: Eddie Guerrero via Top Rope Hurricanrana

Hardcore Holly shown in HHH's lockerroom eating fruit. He tells HHH he is the game and Holly wants to find out. HHH says there's a long line of number one contenders so he'll have to wait his turn. Holly says he don't want the title, he just wants a piece. HHH accepts.

Perry Saturn vs. Bull Buchanan
Saturn with a go behind tie up and Bull fights out. Bull hits a shoulder block knockdown then blocks a hiptoss. Saturn on the mat and Bull drops the elbow. Saturn put in the corner and Bull goes to work. Saturn gets the feet up to knock Bull away then hits a drop kick. Bull hits a clothesline then puts Perry in the corner. Saturn fights back with right hands then hits a drop toe hold and a T-Bone suplex. for a two count. Bull hits a big boot then the ax kick for the win.
Winner and advances to Round of 8: Bull Buchanan via ax kick

Snow and Blackman are backstage and Blackman tells Snow to knocks it off. He came out again last week and hit people with Head. Snow says he has no idea what Steve is talking about.

Al Snow and Steve Blackman vs. Kaientai
Funaki and Snow start. Snow with a single leg takedown that does nothing and Fuanki hits a headscissors takeover, but again, does nothing. Blackman tagged in and After and edit hit a nice double team move. Blackman gets whipped and Taka trips him up on the outside. Funaki tags Taka in and hits the drop toe hold. Funaki puts on the camel clutch and Taka hits the drop kick to the face. Al Snow runs to the back leaving Blackman by himself. Funaki holds Blackman and Taka goes for a kick, but Blackman moves and Taka nails Funaki. Blackman goes to town and cleans house. Blackman takes Taka down with a boot to the face and gets the pinfall.
Winners: Al Snow and Steve Blackman via pinfall

POST MATCH--Al Snow comes back to the ring with Head, cleans house and runs away again.

jonathon Coachman interveiws Hardcore Holly and talks about the title not being on the line. Holly tells fatty to listen here. He don't give a damn about the title, HHH, or Stephanie. Title or no title, Holly wants to kick his ass.

Jeff Hardy vs. Val Venis w/Trish Stratus
Val strikes first with a boot to the gut followed by the right hands. Val runs with Jeff across the ring and hits his head on the turnbuckle. Val then drops Jeff on the ropes and puts him in the corner. Val whips Jeff and Jeff hits a sprinboard corkscrew moonsault and gets a two count. Venis knocks Jeff down with an elbow then gets a two count. Venis with a right hand to the face then he steps on Jeff's face. Val picks Jeff up, but Jeff falls out and starts running the ropes. Finally, Jeff puts on a sleeper, but Venis countered with a sitdown powerbomb for a two count. Jeff hits a DDT on Venis and rolls over for the two count. Jeff with a series of rights then a back body drop. Jeff hits an elbow then goes to the top rope and hits the Swanton Bomb. Jeff goes for the cover, but Trish puts Val's foot on the rope. Lita makes her way to the ring and chases Trish. Val hits a scoop slam and then goes out and grabs Lita. He chokes her while Trish hits her with a boot. Jeff tries to pull Trish int he ring, but instead, Val takes advantage with a fisherman suplex and picks up the win.
Winner and advances to the round of 8: Val Venis via Fisherman's Suplex

Hardcore Holly vs. HHH w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley
They lock up collar and elbow and Holly gets the advantage with a side headlock. HHH throws him off, but Holly knocks HHH down with a shoulder block. Collar and elbow again, this time HHH gets the sideheadlock. Holly tries to counter, but HHH gets the headlock back. Shoulder block takedown by HHH then Holly gets up with a right hand that sends HHH outside. Kick to the midsectoin by HHH and he beats Holly to the corner. Holy fights back and they excahnge rights until HOlly tosses the champ in the corner. HOlly beats him down then whips the champ. Holly hits a sidewalk slam for a nearfall. Holly clotheslines HHH over the top rope then tries to drag him in by the hair, but HHH pulls Holly out. HHH whips Holly into the steel post then kicks him while he's down. Back in the ring, Holly puts the boots to HHH. HHH reverses a whip then hits the raised knee for a two count. Holly in the corner and HHH beats him down again. HHH hits a vertical suplex, kisses his wife, then drops the knee on Holly for a two count. HHH goes for a cover, but another kick out, then HHH goes for another cover and Holly kicks out. HHH shoves referee Timmy White, but White pushes back. Holly takes advantage of the break, but HHH still locks on a sleeper hold. Holly breaks that with a suplex and both men crawl to a corner. Holly charges, but HHH gets his boot up. HHH climbs the ropes, but Holly counteres and hits HHH. Holly with a takedown then hits a standing drop kick for a nearfall. Scoop slam by Holly for yet another nearfall. HHH hits a facebuster after a whip and HHH sets up for the pedigree, but Holly counters and slingshots HHH into the turnbuckle. Holly goes for a splash, but Holly moves. Stephanie gets on the apron and throws a belt in the ring, but Chris Jericho comes down and pulls Stephanie off the apron. Jericho pick sup the belt and nails HHH with it and White lets it go, but Jericho then nails Holly with it and the match is thrown out.
Winner: NO CONTEST due to interference from Chris Jericho
