WCW Monday Nitro Results (6-19-2000) --Russoless Nitro--

Greeting everyone, I hope Monday Night finds you all well...WCW better put on a hell of
a show...Russoless show that is. I look forward to seeing what these other guys
can do.
Nitro opens up with the traditional Thunder recap, Russo/Nash ordeal, Daffney bawling
to David Flair, Scott Steiner, Demon/Vampiro, Reformation of the Triple Threat, Russo
threatening Scott Hall’s contract, and the rest!

-Out Back- Two limos pull up to the arena, Jeff Jarrett, Mike Awesome and The Cat get
out, Cat is talking on the phone, Jarrett asks where Russo is, Cat says Russo is hurt bad,
and Bischoff is in L.A. Cat says Goldberg will be arriving shortly. R&B Security runs up
to Commissioner Cat, and says there are huge problems in the ring.

The camera cuts to the ring, where Horace Hogan is sitting there on a chair with a
baseball bat in hand.

Horace: “Last week, I saw a guy who is so far nothing but a fly-by-night in this business,
come down and destroy one of the men who built this business, that’s right, my Uncle
Hollywood Hogan, where I come from, we stick up for family, Goldberg, you showed the
entire world that you’re in it for nothing but the money, well tonight, I’m in it for family
honor and revenge! So Horace Hogan wants one thing tonight, and he ain’t leaving this
ring until he gets it, I want Goldberg, and I want to be NEXT!”

James Brown hits, and Commissioner Cat makes his way out.

Cat: “Cut the music, alright Hogan, I know you lsot your hair, but you lost your mind too,
you don’t want Goldberg, Goldberg is too busy to fight you, You know and I know,
Goldberg would KILL your ass, so I don’t have time for you, you can sit in that ring all
night if you’d like, but i’ve got work to do...AHEM, Can I have your attention, may I
please have your attention...SHUT THE HELL UP!!! Now, this is because of you Scott
Steiner, last week, you hurt my main man Vince Russo, so because of you, i’m gonna
rain down the roof, there will be no outside interference tonight, that means if your ass
isn’t in a match, you shouldn’t be out here. Now, if you don’t believe me, if you bring
your happy ass out here, i’m gonna tell you what i’m gonna do, i’m gonna send you home
for thirty days, i’m going to find you, and i’m going to have you cleaning my dojo. Now
speaking of contracts, I got Scott Hall’s contract in the building with me tonight, you
people can cheer all you want to, there ain’t a damn thing you or anyone in this world can
do to me tonight, because, i’ve got the damn contract!!!”

The Wolf Howls. . .Big Sexy Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner and Midajah step out.

Nash: “You know Cat, after last week Scotty and I are in a real bad mood. It seems to
me that you made yourself some kind of a dream maker tonight. Then how about
granting a couple of those dreams, my man Horace wants a match with Goldberg tonight.

Cat: “I run the show, i’m the commissioner”...YOU CAN HAVE GOLDBERG!”

Nash: “You’re gonna do what we tell you to do Cat, because you know what, I could
make this a real long night for you, you thinkin what i’m thinkin Cat...All night long.”

Steiner: “You know Cat, the reason you’re standing out here by yourself, because last
week I put Russo in the Steiner Recliner and snapped his freakin neck, see i’m just
getting started, I’ve been searching all day for Eric Bitchoff, but I can’t find him, since
you are standing up for Russo, i’m saying it’s YOU and ME in the ring tonight”

Cat: “Baby, I look to pretty to wrestle tonight, I look too good, Okay, i’ll tell you
what...SHUT THE HELL UP, you don’t want me, i’ll give you Jeff Jarrett, that’s the
ticket!”

Steiner: “That’s not good enough”

Cat: “I’ll give you a title shot, how about a title shot tonight”

Steiner: “Alright, you got it”

Nash: “Hey Cat, were not done yet. You made Horace happy, you made Scotty happy,
there’s a contract, you got Scott Hall’s contract, so tonight, YOU AND ME, for that
contract!.

Cat: “Okay, alright you got it!”

Nash: “You know Cat, in all honesty, you’ve been doing a hell of a job as commissioner.
And you know what Cat, thank God you have, because tonight, after I bust your back,
THAT’S ALL YOU’RE GONNA BE ABLE TO DO!”

-Nash, and Steiner sandwhich the Cat inbetween them and Horace in the ring, Cat gets
intimidated and runs away-

Madden, Schiavone and Hudson recap what happened, they discuss Goldberg/Horace,
Jarrett/Steiner and Nash/Cat.

-Out Back- In the production truck, Palumbo and Stasiak break in and give them
instructions to play a tape on their cue, when they walk out of the truck, Rick Steiner and
Tank Abbott attack them and leave them laying.

-Commercial Break-

-Backstage- The Cat is talking to Jarrett and Awesome, Jarrett is pissed that he got put in
a title match, Cat says it’s alright, because Awesome will be the special referee. R&B
Security says the crowd is getting restless, and they need a match, Cat tells them to get
the Three Spice girls, Three Count, and get them in the ring.

MATCH 1
3 Count vs. Jung Dragons

3 Count says that they have been on top of the Music World, and they will debut their
new single on Thunder. Karagis reminds us that all the ladies go down for the Three
Count. The dragons run into the ring and lay out three count. Kaz takes Shannon Moore
out with a wicked spinning heel kick. Shannon lifts Kaz up in the firemans carry and
Shane Helms hits a spinning neck breaker on Kaz. Evan Karagis is in the ring with Kaz
layed out on the floor, Shane does a dive over Hayashi and rolls him up, but only gets a
two count. Large Three Count Sucks chant starts. Shannon Moore gets thrown into the
turnbuckle, and Kaz gets a tag in to Jamie San, Jamie San hits rapid fire punches and
upper cuts on 3 Count, Shannon Moore hits a sleeper hold slam on them, Karagis with a
flying body splash off the top rope. Kaz and the other guy go to the top rope, but
Shannon Moore knocks them off. 3 Count hits a Triple Team Death drop on Kaz
Hayashi, and gets the pin and win.

Winners: 3 Count
Match Time: (About) 6:33

Post Match: LANCE STORM runs in the ring, and personally takes out all of Three
Count, Lance Storm hits a flipping body splash out of the ring...And friends that was the
best wrestling on WCW in SOME TIME.

-Backstage- David Flair is looking for Daffney, Goldberg also arrives at the arena.

-Commercial Break-

-Backstage- Mike Tenay is talking to Horace Hogan about why he is challenging
Goldberg, Horace says Goldberg can stomp, snort and spit his way to the ring, Horace
says he’s not afraid to take a bullet for Hollywood, but tonight, he’s firing the bullets
right at him.

MATCH 2: Hardcore Title Match
Big Vito vs. Johnny The Bull

Match starts off with Big Vito hitting Johnny on the outside with a kendo stick. Vito
slaps and dominates Johnny up the ramp. Vito throws Johnny into the steel guard rail
and then proceeds to beat Johnny with the title belt. Vito has an irish whip reversed and
Johnny sends Vito into the fan risers. Johnny proceeds to throw his former partner into a
safety barricade. Vito soon regains the momentum and takes Vito backstage where he is
attacking him with ladders, and throwing him into containers. The two battle to a table
where a man is working with a computer, Vito throws Johnny into the table and then
breaks a laptop over the head of Johnny, Johnny’s assault continues as he is thrown into a
stack of chairs, and then dragged to an area of backstage that is under construction, Vito
throws Johnny through some dry-wall, Vito tries to hit Johnny again, but Johnny sends
Vito into a stack of metal pipes, Johnny takes some mop handles and breaks them over
the back of Vito. The two climb up some scaffolding backstage, and Vito hits the
Implant DDT off the scaffolding, onto a table!!!!!! Vito gets the win!

Winner: Big Vito
Match Time: 4:21

-Backstage- The Cat is looking through some files, and finds Scott Hall’s contract.

-Backstage- They are carrying Johnny the Bull away, and Terry Funk comes to help him
out.

-Backstage- Rey Mysterio Jr. attacks Lt. Loco who is walking to the ring, G.I. Bro breaks
up the fight and chases after Rey.

-Commercial Break-

-Backstage- G.I. Bro is addressing the Misfits, he says it’s time to get serious, he says
DDP and Hogan are out, Ric Flair has been retired, they need to get serious. The Misfits
get pissed off, Bro tells them all to watch each others backs, Booker says Hugh Rection is
now Cheif Rection, but G.I. Bro says he has business to take care of. The monitor shows
Diamond Dallas Kanyon walking to the ring, G.I. Bro says he needs to be taken care of.

Kanyon is in the ring with the Blonde wig, and he slumps in the corner, ala DDP.

Kanyon: “Cut my music Monkey. They love me, they hate me, they’ll never get tired of
reading my book, Positively Kanyon, it’s the kind of book you can’t just read once, you
gotta read it, TWO TIME, TWO TIME, TWO TIME. As a matter of fact, I got up this
morning gave myself the old self high-five, SHUT UP!!! And I read my new book,
Positively Kanyon again, and it’s got me feeling real positive, so positive, I feel I can’t be
beaten, so I’m going to put out an open challenge, so if anyone in the back is feeling
froggy, come on out so you can FEEL, THE, BANG!!!!”

G.I. Bro runs out. Kanyon and Bro battle, Bro hits a flying clothesline on Kanyon, and
then levels him with punches, Kanyon tries to go for the flatliner, but Bro reverses and
hits an ax-kick on him, Bro hits the sidewalk slam on him and then hits the harlem side
kick. G.I Bro rips off his fatigues, and apparently, is Booker T again! Kanyon scurries.

-Backstage- David looks for Daffney, and tells her they need to talk, Daffney says he has
nothing to say to him, slaps David and walks away.

-Locker Room- Horace is getting ready to fight Goldberg.
Match 3:
Horace Hogan vs. Goldberg

Goldberg makes his way out, and is still getting cheered through the roof, so one would
think he needs to do something to get over as a heel...Ha.

Horace attacks Goldberg from the moment he steps into the ring, and Horace sends his
opponent into the ropes, but Goldberg re-acts with a flying clothesline. Goldberg
punches the head of Horace repeatedly on the mat and then throws Horace out of the
ring. Goldberg follows to the outside and kicks Horace hard multiple times while he is
down. Goldberg lifts Horace up and drops him over the steel guardrail, Goldberg goes to
punch Horace, but Horace moves and Goldberg punches the ring post. Horace grabs a
chair and starts to whip Goldberg over the back. Goldberg tries to attack Horace, but the
chairshots continue. The two get back in the ring, and Horace gets Goldberg on the mat,
but Goldberg is right back up and spears Horace! Goldberg signals for the Jackhammer,
and he takes Horace upstairs, and down, 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Goldberg
Match Time: 2:40

Post Match: Goldberg puts a crossface on Horace, trying to put him out. Goldberg is still
playing to the fans, but if the New Blood is the internet faces...Ah screw it.

-Backstage- Nash is talking to Steiner, and is getting ready for the match.
-Backstage- The Cat is walking to the ring with a briefcase containing the Contract.

-Commercial Break-

MATCH 4: Scott Hall’s Contract Match
Kevin Nash vs. Commissioner Cat

Cat: Now. (Shakes head). Now, if you people can shut the hell, I can get on with what I
came out here to do, I’ll tell you what Kung Fu, SIT YOUR ASS DOWN, now, Kevin
Nash, i’ve got something you really want in this briefcase, and the only way you’re going
to get that is by coming to the Cat baby, i’m going to rip you apart, I don’t know what to
do, i’m going to kick your ass! Hit my music! (Cat dances)

The Cat goes to the announce table, and handcuffs the briefcase to Mark Madden, the
key is around Cat’s neck.

::The Wolf Howls:: and Kevin Nash makes his way down to the ring. Cat shows the key
to Nash, and is trying to taunt Nash. Nash just stares at the Cat, and then charges the Cat
with a clothesline, Cat ducks, but Nash backs Cat into the corner and hits his patented
Knee Thrusts on The Cat. Cat goes to the outside and calls for some help, Cat gets on the
mic to call for some help, but Nash cuts him off. Nash pushes Cat around on the outside,
Cat gets on the announcers mic, and says “I wave” but Nash attacks him again. Cat is in
the ring and begs Nash off, and when Nash approaches Cat, Cat hits a low blow, and
gains the advantage of the match. Cat starts to chop, kick and punch Nash away in the
corner, but his three karate titles aren’t anything to Nash, as he takes Cat and
powerbombs him straight to hell. Nash puts his foot on Cat’s chest, and gets the win.
Nash takes the key and goes to open up the briefcase.

Winner: Kevin Nash

Nash opens up the briefcase, to find pictures of The Cat inside. Nash looks at Cat in the
ring, and gets back in. Cat begs, Cat bows to Nash, fans chant “Kick his Ass”. On
Nitrovision, Goldberg says he has the contract, and tells him to come claim it at Bash at
the Beach. Goldberg EATS the contract!

-Commercial Break-

Nash is backstage telling Mike Tenay, the PPV is on his Birthday, and Scott Hall will
only be 40 minutes away, he reminds us that he’s the only one to beat Goldberg, there’ll
be a party...Tenay turns to Scott Steiner, all Steiner says is that Jarrett can kiss his ass.

Match 5: Cruiserweight Title Match
Lt. Loco vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. The Artist

Konnan asks where his dogs are at, he says the Misfits are screwed since their leader G.I.
Bro left them.

The Misfits come to the ring next, Juvi calls them the New Jabronie Order while he does
commentary, because “They Suck”. Juice calls Chavo the “Juicerweight Champion”

The Artist is out last with Paisley. Prince attacks Loco on the outside, and then throws
him in the ring. Mysterio hits a legdrop on Loco in the ring, and covers for just a two
count. Artist and Rey attack each other, Rey tries for a huracanrana, but Artist turns it
into a powerbomb. Loco hits a huge frogsplash across the ring on the two men. Artist
takes Loco and back body drops him to the outsdie of the ring, Artist turns to Rey
Mysterio, but promptly gets sent out of the ring by The King of Mystery. Artist and Rey
go back at it in the ring, and Artist turns around and knocks Loco off the top rope. Artist
slumps in the corner, and Rey hits the Ruff Ryder on him, Rey steps up to take on Loco,
but misses, Loco hits the Tornado DDT on the Artist, and retains the title!

Winner: Lt. Loco

Tygress gets in the ring and holds Major Gunz, for Paisley to attack her, Paisley hits
Tygress instead, A cat fight ensues between Gunz, Tygress and Paisley.

Winners: All Men

-Backstage- Mike Tenay is trying to talk to Daffney, but David Flair walks on and
Daffney tries to go away but David grabs her and hands her some Black Roses and starts
to sing to her, Daffney forgives David, and they hug and kiss, Tenay asks if they need a
room.

-Commercial Break-

-Backstage- David and Daffney are walking, David says he’s happy they are back
together, David says he has to go get something, and Daffney gets in the car. David
walks in and starts kissing and hugging Ms. Hancock...Daffney watches it on a TV, and
gets pissed off, she starts to cry.

Match 6: World Tag Title Match
The Perfect Event vs. Rick Steiner/Tank Abbott

Tank tries to hit his DEVASTATING Right hands on The Perfect Event, he targets
Stasiak, but when he gets into the corner, Palumbo knocks Abbott off. Steiner and
Stasiak are in the ring, and Rick whips Stasiak into the rope and hits a clothesline on the
rebound. Rick covers, but the ref is distracted long enough for Rick only to get a two
count. Rick hits a belly to belly on Perfectshawn, but only gets a one count because
Palumbo breaks up the cover. Palumbo receives a rapid belly to belly suplex on the
rebound from the ropes. A fan taunts Tank on the outside, and Tank chases after the
man, leaving Steiner for dead. The Perfect Event double teams Steiner on the outside.
Steiner can’t take anymore, and digs up an offense, but it doesn’t last long at all. The
Perfect Event puts Steiner back in the ring, and continues to double team him, each
taking a punch at a time. The DFG battles back however, trading punches with the men.
Steiner takes out both men on a rebound from the ropes. Steiner covers Palumbo, but
only gets two. Perfection tries to get in with the muscle flexer, but Steiner knocks him
down. Stasiak puts the muscle flexer in the ring, Steiner comes off the top rope, but is hit
with the flexer on the way down. The Perfect Event hits a double pancake, for the pin
and win.

Winners: The Perfect Event
Match Time: 4:40

Dale Torborg is talking to Asya backstage, he tells her to do whatever she needs to, but to
get rid of the Demon Gear. (Torborg is the Demon). Vampiro is also shown backstage.

-Commercial Break-

Vampiro heads to the ring.

Vampiro: “You know last week I came across someone who I thought had a lot of
potential, you know someone I thought I had a lot in common with, rock and roll,
makeup, fire and of course mayhem. So you know he’s going away, so we should have a
little party, so I’d like to call out the two people who mean the most to him, Dale “The
Demon” Torborg and his beautiful fiance, Asya.”

Torborg comes out to “God of Thunder” Vampiro says that he isn’t the demon, he wants
to dump the demon. Vampiro says it must be tough to let go of something that is such a
part of himself, and when a part of you goes away, it’s really tough...All the lights go out,
and a big boom is heard...Asya is gone. Vampiro says more than the Demon has
vanished, The lights go out again, and Vampiro is gone. Nitro vision shows Vampiro
driving a hearse away...Freaky!

-Backstage-Scott Steiner is backstage with Midajah.

-Backstage-The Triple Threat is walking to the ring, as are Kronic/Buff.

-Commercial Break-

The Triple Threat comes out

Douglas: “Billings Montana, take a look at true greatness, it’s about time we start serving
notice around here that we ain’t taking seconds no more, we are taking what belongs to
us and we are taking it by force. My boys here aren’t content without some belts around
their waist, we are saying that Candido and Bigelow are in search of the Tag Team
Titles...How about your hero Buff Daddy Bagwell, cheer now, because Bash at the
Beach, you and I are going to dance all night long, any kind of match you want, because
at the end of that night, you will know what Franchised really means!”

Buff Bagwell makes his way out, and is followed by K-K-Kronic. Kronics new entrance
kicks ass.

Match 7:
Triple Threat vs. Kronic/Buff

“Franchise Sucks” chant starts up. Clark and Franchise start things off, exchanging
choke holds. Douglas charges at Clark, but Clark reverses, Franchise hits a dropkick on
Clark. Douglas goes to the top rope, but Clark is up and throws him off, down to the
mat. Clark picks Douglas up and hits him with a VICIOUS Chokeslam. Adams and
Clark are in the ring and doubleteam Douglas, Adams takes Douglas, and hits the Full
Nelson Slam on The Franchise, Adams covers, and gets a two count before Douglas
counts out. Buff says he wants in the ring, and Franchise retreats and tags in Bam Bam
BIGelow. Bigelow hits a headbutt on Bagwell, and then whips Bagwell into the opposite
corner, and hits a POWERFUL bodyslam on Buff. Bam Bam tags the Franchise back in,
Franchise attacks the downed Bagwell, gouging the face of Buff. Douglas puts Buff in
the corner, and unleashes on him, Franchise hits a T-Bone Suplex on Buff, and then hits
two more vertical suplexes onBuff. Franchise covers, but Buff kicks out at two.
Franchise taunts Kronic, and Adams tries to get in the ring, The ref holds them back.
Buff hits a huge DDT on Douglas, Bigelow and Clark are both tagged in, Clark drops
Bigelow, and Adams throws The Franchise at Bigelow. Kronic whips Bigelow into the
ropes, but on the rebound, Bigelow hits a Double DDT on Bigelow. K
