Pro wrestling flows thick in Curt Hennig's veins, compliments of a pro wrestling father, Larry "The Ax." But it took a grueling stint at Verne Gagne Wrestling Camp to seal his future vocation. This eye-opening experience motivated him to spurn collegiate offers in football, baseball and wrestling after a stellar prep career. Earning several world heavyweight and tag team titles, Hennig is a no-nonsense competitor that gets the job done. Inducted into Cauliflower Alley, which honors wrestling's greats, Hennig and "The Ax" are the only father-son tandem to be honored. In 1999, Hennig formed the West Texas Rednecks, along with The Windham brothers and the late Bobby Duncum, Jr. The group was a favorite to fans around the world as they performed their smash hit, "I Hate Rap."
