THE SEVEN SISTERS.........................3:30..........
http://www.action2000.com/newpg/FILM-VIDEO.html

Once there were seven sisters. They were young and unhappy. Their father remarried to an old, mean stepmother.
They worked all the time for their stepmother and were fed very little. The old woman told her husband "Get rid of the girls". He said:"Girls, let us go to the temple".
He led them deep into the woods. All were tired from the ir long walk and fell asleep. In the morning the father told the youngest:"Bring a pail of water". She went to the spring to fill the pail.
A crow flew by and told her :"You fill a pail with a hole in it". She threw the pail away and ran to the resthouse. The father was nowhere to be found ..."AWAKE sisters AWAKE" The sisters could not open their eyes for the father had poured pitch in their eyes. After some time the youngest sister cleaned the pitch from their eyes. Soon they walked on and came upon a big white building. It belonged to a monkey. Before he would eat he would sleep. The gils tricked the monkey of his food. When the monkey awoke... his food was gone. This happened four times. The last time the girls put a piece of food on the monkeys tail. The monkey punished his tail by dipping it in burning oil. As the monkey was dipping his tail in the oil, the girls pushed him into the oil, killed him and claimed his home.
One day their father arrived to sell spices. The girls led him up a golden stair. They gave him food and told him they were happy. When he left they gave him a plate of gold. When the father arrived home and told his wife of the girls' fortune, the old woman left for the girls new house to sell them spices. The girls took the stepmother up an old wooden stair. When she was ready to leave they gave her a pitcher with with the top covered with a piece of paper. They told her:"When you go to bed tonight you must make a hole in the paper top. That night when she went to bed the old mean stepmother made a hole in the paper top and as she slept thousands of fire ants climbed out of the pitcher and bit her to death.

http://homepages.infoseek.com/~wpeindex/index.html

Once upon a time there were two monks... one older and the other was a junior to him in age and wisdom. The young monk was disrespectfull to the old monk... One day the young monk said to the old monk:" If you are a disciple of the Buddha, so am I".
The old monk left after this exchange of words. The young monk troubled decided to go and meditate untill he became as great as he had known the old monk to be. He went to a cave in the mountains. Within a week he died where he sat in meditation. The villagers were surprised and disturbed at the death of the young monk. When the news of the death of the young monk reached the old monk he came to the cave where the body was lying.
The old monk called the villagers together to cremate the body of the young monk. He also led the villagers in the service for the death.
Three days later the old monk returned to the place of cremation. There he saw a serpent going around and around in the ashes. He then knew that the young monk had become a serpent and thought he must help him become reborn as a human being.
The old monk called the serpent to him but it would not listen to him. Then for three days the old monk sat and
near the serpent and meditated and prayed. Yet the serpent could not free itself from its vicious circle.

Long ago only a few people lived high up in the Himalayas. They all lived in fear of the wild man of the mountain. He was covered in long black hair and had giant feet. He had one eye and he ate people.
Once upon a time, a small man from the village took his
grain to the mill. He arrived late to the mill one evening.
This small man made himself comfortable by the mill prepairing to spent the night there. As he made himself a pot of tea, the Wild Man from the mountain appraoched the fire and also seated himself.
"Who are you ?" asked the mountain man
"Me" answered the miller
"And what are you doing here" demanded the mountain man
The miller sat rubbing special oil on his legs to make him slippery in case he needed to defend himself. The mountain man saw this and asked for some oil for himself. The miller gave the mountain man some pine tar instead.
The miller sat close to the fire and this made the oil run down his legs.
The mountain man saw this and also approached the fire. Both of his legs caught on fire and were badley burned.
The mountain man was unable to contain the pain any longer and ran from the mill and the miller, leaving the miller
to spent the night safely at the mill. The wild man from the
mountain was never seen or heard from again, leaving all the villagers to live in safety and the miller became a hero.

Once there were two brothers that came from Kathmandhu. Both were young. One worked, the other played, one was married, the other not.
The older brother asked his younger brother to help in the fields. He would not. The older brothers wife was kind and fed him. "That is not a job for me, I would rather go to the river and catch some fish" He took a fish trap and strung it high in a tree and returned home to his brother.
His brother was dumbfounded when he heard his brother put the fishtrap in a tree. "How will a fish climb a tree?" he asked.
When Mahadev the Hindu God of destruction and Parvati, his wife were passing and they saw the trap, Parvati asked "What is a fishtrap doing in a tree?" Mahadev said:Woman you must learn to mind your own business" But Parvati persisted in asking. "Well I will tell you, it is to catch a fish" said
Mahadev. "But as I said, you must mind your own business"
"How" she asked"Like this" and he changed himself into a fish and got into the trap.
The young brother returned at that moment and removed the large fish from the trap. As he was about to kill the fish he heard the fish cry out"Gently my lad".
"Why it is a talking fish" exclaimed the young man.
The fish said"If you use your knife to split me open gently
I will grant you a wish. The young man cut the fish open very carefully and when Mahadev emerged from within the young man asked "Please grant me my wish".
"So let it be" said Mahadev "Your wish is as you wish"
Then Mahadev turned to Parvati and scolded her and said "Now see what happens when a woman does not mind her own business. I have had to give a wish to the lazy young man".

5...THE JUNGLE CAMP..........................7:15.........

Well it wasn't very long ago, when the people of the village of Chitwan gathered together on a hot summer night to perform the nightly rights to protect the village from the fierce tigers in the jungle. For this protection they asked the tough and tender one to help as they did every night. He had no modesty, but was humbly blessed. The people of the village thought of him as all that and more.
Some thought that the tough man would roar as loud as a tiger and the meanest tiger in the jungle would run away. But no, that is not the way of the brave in the jungle of Chitwan.
The tough and tender warrior would plan his moves. He would bring the oldest tiger into the village while the villagers played drums and played the sticks in a rythm as to soothe the tiger.
"I bring the tiger to me in respect"he said. A small child stepped forward and asked "Do you live your life with no fear?" Sternly he answered "I can not live up to my own image of myself if I do not look the tiger in the eye and ask the tiger if this is, what he is willing to die for"
"I live as a representative of all of us" he said "If you are allways living in the present then you will not live face down in ignorance"
An elder woman perhaps his mother came to the tender one and asked"How do you remember your spirit?"
He thought long and hard and when he spoke low and slow what he said was this:"Before I go to work, to meet the tiger, before I go to play, before I go to bed and when I rise again in the morning, I go to the place of laughter. It is the final place where all human beings go. It might be in my finger, it might be in my heart, my laugh is where I go to laugh at fear."

6...HUNUMAN BaBa...........................2:35............

"Tuesday is when I pray to the desiple of the desiple"
heard the woman say as I boarded a bus for Bhaktapur. Tuesday is when I ask in prayer for all the things that
all people need. I do not ask for me, I think I am not self serving. For only I can ask for the things my brother needs.
People are more alike then we are unlike.
"Who inspires you?" asked the busdriver.
"Each time I succeed in a small gesture, I am inspired. I am grateful for that inspiration.
From the back of the bus came a shout "But sir, Who inspires you who are inspired?"
The answer came back quickly "I can say I am not inspired by material things, bad thought and words, substances that make me unclear. I can say negative things are uninspiring, jealousy and greed don't help much either.
What inspires the inspired is inspiration in the form of truth, honesty, respect, giving, sharing and loving. And there is also enthusiasm and gumtion and quality. Quality is
caring. Inspiration is the result of caring.

There once was two brothers that received equal inherence from their fathers will. One brother went into the world to seek his fortune. He met an old man and asked him
"How can my fortune best be used?". The old man offered to sell good advice for a fee the sum total of his inherence.
The first advice was "Get a mouse." The second bit of the advice was "Get a cat." And the third bit of advice was
"Get a dog." After paying for the advice the young man had no difficulties in finding the animals.
Soon the young man came to a stream where he saw a serpent being carried away by the water. He rescues the serpent. The serpent turned out to be the sun of a god. The serpent was grateful so he gave the young traveler a jewel that would fulfill his wishes.
As he travelled on he lost the jewel in a stream, but found a fisherman and bought all the fish he had caught. As he cut open each fish, he came upon the fish with the jewel in it, at that moment an eagle swooped down and took the jewel...The man tricked the eagle with the mouse, cat and dog and got the jewel back...He then returned home and married.
The new wife left the man and took the jewel with her, leaving the man in poverty; so, with his animals he set out to look for the woman.
After some days search, he found the wife asleep with the jewel in her mouth. No sooner had the cat placed his tail into the wife's mouth she awoke, sneezed and the jewel flew from her mouth.
The young man, no longer young, recovered his jewel and lived the rest of his days with a mouse, a cat and a dog.

8 ...........THE WILD WOMAN.............5:40.......

http://maxpages.com/wpeindex/Miles_From_Nowhere

Once there was a poor man from the country who could not feed his large family. He went to a stream to catch some frogs one evening. At the streams edge he was approached by a wild woman. She demanded he go with her or she would do something to him he would never forget.
"I would rather live with you than have something horrible happen to me" he said.
She took him to a cave deep in the woods where she
danced for two years and made the man fetch food for her.
One morning the man awoke to find the land covered with snow and he told the wild woman he needed boots to bring her food from the woods.
She saw the boots he had made for himself and she also wanted a pair. She ordered him to make her a pair.
He worked very hard at sowing an tying the boots together and when he was finished the wild woman could no longer dance. She could no longer walk and at that moment
the man was able to leave the cave and return to his family.
