A lot of you probably know that when I place a page on this site, especially lately, its because someone has asked me to, or because someone/or/more than one person, has brought to my attention that something should be placed.
Well, recently, a few people have e-mailed me asking how to make time slow or go more quickly. And although we all natually do these things, it can be done KNOWINGLY.
So, this page is to you, all my loving friends!
---To make the Time Quicken or Slow---
Close your eyes...
Immagine a large round clock... You are seeing the hands of the clock go from minute to minute... You want it to slow down a little... So, you simply immagine your own hand pushing it backwards (counter clockwise).
naturally the hands of the clock are fighting this. This is natural for them, and unnatural to go backwards... So, You force it to either keep moving backwards, or to everytime it is supposed to move forward it only makes a "CLICK" and stays right where it was. Then you move it backwards once again... The hands are now moving counterclockwise quickly from your touch...
Once you feel the task has been done, you can open your eyes and time will slow down until it isnt needed anymore...
This is a simple yet VERY effective meditation-like skill. I have done it at work a couple times when there was too much to do in too little of time...

---Quicken---
Again, close your eyes and immagine that same clock...
Only, the hands are moving much faster, and in a clockwise direction... Immagine your hand pushing them forward. But you are NOT forcing them this time. This time you are only "helping" them speed up. You do this until you feel you are done. each time the clock hands reach where they started you here a loud "click"... You should be able to feel this too. This is Time making its way quickly around the clock.
When you open your eyes, time will go more quickly until it is not needed any longer.
I did this one at work today, and so this one many times a month for different reasons... |
