Invocation Of The Elements

"Air, Fire, Water, Earth,
Elements of Astral birth,
I call you now; attend to me!
In the circle, rightly cast,
Safe from psychic curse or blast,
I call you now; attend to me!
From cave and desert, sea and hill,
By wand, blade, cup and pentacle,
I call you now; attend to me!
This is my will, so mote it be"!

Invocation To The Goddess

I invoke and call upon thee O Mother Goddess,
who shines for all, who flows through all.
Maiden, Mother and Crone,
I invite you to my circle;
Touch us, change us, make us whole.

Invocation To The God

I invoke and call upon thee O Father God,
Lord of the Sun, Master of all that is wild and free.
I invite you to my circle;
Touch us, change us, make us whole.

An Invocation to Bride

I take Bride as my Advocate
Dear to me is Erin,
Dear to me each land
Praise be to it!

White Flame of Lienster,
Enlighten the whole land,
Chief of Erin’s Maidens
Chief of Finest Women

Dark the bitter winter,
Cutting it’s sharpness;
But Bride’s mantle
Brings spring to Ireland

-Translated from the Gaelic by Caitlin Mathews.

Invocations To The Fire Goddess

Blessed be the Goddess of Creativity
Brigid, Bright One
Goddess of the forge.
Teach me to bear the fires of
transformation,
The furnace that tempers my blade,
and makes me strong.
Be with me as I blaze my trail.
I light this candle
in fiery offering to you,
Brigid, Goddess of Fire.

Blessed be the Goddess of Transformation,
Persephone, Courageous One,
the molten Kore of the Earth.
Teach me to enter the underworld
without fear, and to emerge
without regret.
Light my path with your torches.
I light this candle
in fiery offering to you,
Persephone, Goddess of Fire.

Blessed be the Goddess of Faith
Hestia, Constant One,
Goddess of hearth and temple.
Teach me the lessons of commitment
and contentment,
service and celebration.
Warm me within and without.
I light this candle
in fiery offering to you,
Hestia, Goddess of Fire.

Invocation To Artemis

O thou beautiful
lady of the Moon,
Virgin Artemis,
mysterious and triune,
Who bearest a bow
and a quiver of splendour
With elegant arrows
made of glittering silver,
Sister of Apollo
and daughter of Zeus,
Most mysterious woman,
mystic and abstruse,
Who art Selene above
waxing in the sky,
And Hecate below
waning with a sigh,
And Artemis on earth
protecting child birth,
Thou triple Goddess
of the ageless Moon,
Lady of the nocturnal
and mystick swoon,

Virgin Artemis
of lunar delight,
Admirable queen
of the starry night,
Lover of youth
and guardian of truth,
Holy priestess
and virgin huntress,
Mighty protectress,
full Moon in darkness,
Holy virgin,
Holy guardian,
Blessed Goddes
of the cypress garden,
We invoke thy
lunar ecstasy,
And we invoke thy
mystic trance!
We invoke thy
magick sovereignty,
And we invoke thy
secret guidance!
Come, O come, Artemis,
thou beloved Moon,
And fill us with your
mystic and wondrous swoon!
We invoke thee to enrich
our souls with thy power,
Come, O come, in this,
thine holy hour!

An Invocation To Ogma

The following invocation of Ogma was used in the main ritual at last year's Mean Earrach in New York. It opens a very nice portal to facilitate communication with the Gods.

"Ogma! Bearer of knowledge.
Ogma! Who brought the sacred script to our people.
Ogma! Keeper of the gates between the worlds.
Hear us!
Open the gate to the other world
That we may commune with our ancestors,
The spirits of this place,
And the Gods.
Open the gate.
Open the door.
Open the way.
So mote it be."

Closing the portal:

"Ogma!
We thank you for giving us access to the other world,
Our work is done.
Close the gate that we may leave this place in peace.
Blessed Be." (or alternatively 'So mote it be')

INVOCATION TO PEACE

NOTE: You should design your ritual according to you own thoughts. If you are trying for peace in your family, you would use red or pink candles, the earth - green candles, etc. This is up to your own discretion)

"From out of the dark and into the light
A circular "mark"; a candle burns bright.
I look toweards the sky...my "song" that I sing
Spirits soar high and gifts do I bring.

I offer my all! My mind, I then clear
Harken my call! I feel you are near!
Candle burns higher; my spirits set free!
Hotter than fire, this magick will be!

Let magick come round, from under the ground,
to form with my sound and the, to be bound!
Around me I feel the magick so real,
Before you I kneel.. the spell I now seal!

Let all hatred CEASE! And let there be PEACE!
These words that I say, with magick AWAY!
This spell that I send is now at an end.
Let the magick I've laid, go forth and not fade!!"

SO MOTE IT BE!
