WHAT IS AN ALTAR? Well to me an altar is a sacred place where I preform spells, chants, light insence and candles. Its in the middle of the circle when you cast a circle, its a flat surface. DECORATION TIP For decorating your altar, I suggest the large cat candle. Cats represent happiness and luxury, and the candle may also represent the Egyptian cat goddess, Bast.
