ROLLING STONE COVER

* Christina, I just saw the picture of you on the cover of Rolling Stone. Did you select the picture ? Do you like it?

* Are you sticking your tongue out on your Rolling Stone cover to get back at what Eminem said about you?

RESPONSE: Christina took hundreds of pictures during the photoshoot for Rolling Stone wearing a number of outfits. At times, the photographer told Christina to make faces and stick her tongue out. She did not mean anything at all when sticking her tongue out and did it as a joke, nothing more. Christina never thought that the photographer would choose that picture for the cover. Christina never saw any of the photos before the issue hit the newsstands.

Unfortunately, Christina did not have any choice as to the photos chosen by Rolling Stone. They usually pick photos they think will sell magazines. Maybe that is why they chose the one they did - it's not necessarily the picture that Christina (and most likely not what her fans) would have chosen.

* Christina, you are wearing very revealing clothes on the Rolling Stone cover. Why did you wear such an outfit - didn't you once say that you weren't going to do stuff like that?

RESPONSE: Originally, Christina and Blink-182 were going to be on the cover together. But because Christina had the flu early in May, she had to miss the photo shoot with them. But Christina was told that she would be taking her own picture that would be matched with Blink-182's photos so that they would be sharing the cover of Rolling Stone. Christina believed that Blink-182 was photographed in beach / surfer gear. Because she thought the other people on the cover were wearing swimwear or beach clothes, Christina thought she should wear beach type of clothes as well. Christina believes that the top, bikini, and shorts are the kind of clothes clothes the average 19 or 20-year-old girl would wear to the beach during the summer. Christina does not know why the editors of Rolling chose not to put Blink-182 on the cover with her.

Z100'S ZOOTOPIA PRESS CONFERENCE

* Hey Christina, I heard that as you were walking on stage at Z100's Zootopia, a little girl called out 'I know who you are. you're Mandy Moore' and you stopped dead in your tracks, turned around and screamed at the little girl, "I AM NOT," and kept going. Please tell me this isn't true, because I am your biggest fan, and I would hate to know that you aren't nice to your fans. Please post the answer on 'The Rumor Mill.'

FALSE. Christina was rushing down the hallway to do a press conference when a little girl said to Christina, 'Are you Mandy Moore.' Christina turned her head, smiled and quietly said 'No, I'm not,' and then rushed off at the radio station's request to make certain all the press and photographers would have enough time. Christina then did her press conference and signed many autographs. To say that Christina raised her voice is completely untrue. In fact Christina said it so softly that the little girl in the background repeated the words Is that Mandy Moore?' Sadly, this is one of many completely untrue rumors that many radio stations have chosen to broadcast for reasons which we simply cannot understand.

Christina absolutely adores her fans, and many times signs autographs when her security team would prefer she didn't, because she so much enjoys her time with her fans. Any negative story that you may hear from a radio station is probably just to get you to listen and gossip and is very likely untrue.

DUET WITH USHER

* Hi Christina! I recently heard that you and R&B singer Usher will be doing a song together. Is this true? Please answer my question.

FALSE. Christina is a fan of Usher. However, there are no plans to do any duets right now.

GUY ON THE SCOOTER

* Hi, I'm a huge fan of Christina's. I like the photo shoots in the new Seventeen Magazine. I think they did a great job. I was wondering, who is the guy on the scooter with Christina?

RESPONSE: The guy on the scooter is a model hired for the shoot. Christina does not know him personally.

'DREAMY EYES' UPDATE

* I am an active member on the LiveDaily board. I'd just like to congratulate the people who maintain the Christina web site. I have not seen a celebrity website that has such frequent updates! And I'd like to Congratulate Christina for her success all the way. On behalf of many members at the LiveDaily message board, I am very anxious about hearing the song 'Dreamy Eyes' by Christina. I would just like an update on the status of the song. Is there any way we can hear that song?

RESPONSE: Thanks for the compliments. Right now there is no specific plan to release 'Dreamy Eyes' as a B-side. However, it may be released on a compilation disc in the future.

SUMMER JAMS

* Hi, I recently heard on the radio, that on August 9th Christina, Britney Spears, and *N Sync will all have a concert together, either at Dodger Stadium or The Rose Bowl (I don't remember which one they said). I think that if what I heard was true, then that would be a great concert to attend. So please, if you could, clear up that rumor I heard.

TRUE. Christina will be performing two songs at the Summer Jams concert this summer which will be televised along with many other artists, including Britney and *N Sync. That concert will take place somewhere in the Los Angeles area, but the exact location has not yet been determined.

'JUST BE FREE'

* I was on Best Buy's website and they have a CD called 'Just Be Free' by Christina Aguilera, set to be released on June 27. I was just wondering whether this is true. Please post this on 'The Rumor Mill.'

RESPONSE: 'Just Be Free' was a song that Christina recorded long prior to her signing with RCA Records. As far as we know, that single will not be released in the United States or elsewhere. The next single to be released is 'Come On Over.'

BRITNEY AND PLANET HOLLYWOOD

* Is Christina joining forces with Britney for Planet Hollywood?

FALSE. Christina has never been contacted by Planet Hollywood about any appearances.

CHRISTINA'S STEPDAD

* Why did Christina thank her father at the Grammys, but doesn't even mention him in the thank you's on her CD?

RESPONSE: At the Grammys, Christina, in her thank you speech, meant Jim, her stepfather, when she thanked her dad. Her manager said that the first thing she said to him after sitting down (after going on-stage to accept the Grammy) was, 'Steve, you don't think people thought I meant my father Fausto, do you? I meant Jim!!!' Steve said she was concerned about people misunderstanding it.

Her stepdad Jim is whom Christina leans to and considers, and calls, her 'dad.' He's really been a great dad to her,seeing her through all the rough times growing up and as a teen, and is (and always has been) there for her, like any good parent should. She really loves him.

COVER SONGS

* Hi Is it true that Christina will do a cover of Madonna's hit 'Crazy For You?'

FALSE. At this time, Christina has no plans to record any covers of any songs or artists.

RETIREMENT

* Hey, Christina, I heard that you are retiring. Is that true? Please answer me back.

FALSE. Although Christina's schedule over the past year has been incredibly busy, Christina is very excited about recording her Christmas and Spanish Albums, going on tour, and hopefully dong a TV special in the Winter. So retirement is the farthest thing from Christina's mind these days. She's having a blast!

'CRL'

* I would like to know what the initals on christinas white top stand for, they are 'CRL.' Thanks.

RESPONSE: The letters 'CRL' stand for 'Christina Request Live.'

NEW TV SHOW

* My friend was talking to someone online who claimed to be a reporter, and he said that Christina was going to be staring in a new NBC show with Britney Spears and Mandy Moore called 'Stolen' Is this true?

FALSE. Although Christina will likely appear in her own television special in December, there has been no discussion about any show in which Christina and Britney or Mandy Moore would appear together.

CHRISTINA'S FAMILY

* How many brothers and sisters does Christina have?

RESPONSE: Christina has one sister, Rachel - 14, one brother Michael - 3, and a stepbrother, Casey and stepsister, Stephanie.

'GENERAL HOSPITAL'

* My mom said that Christina appeared on 'General Hospital' for like 5 or so minutes then said, 'I have business to take care of like now. Peace out' and like that was it! Is that true?

FALSE. Other than the Mickey Mouse Club, 'Saturday Night Live' and the talk shows, the only television show in which Christina appeared is 'Beverly Hills 90210.'

THE WILD CATS

* Dear Christina, my friend is a cheer leader for the Wild Cats and is a big fan. She said that you use to cheer for the Wild Cats. Is that true? Well, I hope you are because I bet you'd be a great cheerleader!

TRUE. Christina was a cheerleader in Junior High for about one week in high school (had to withdraw right away because her singing obligations completely clashed with cheer practices), but she was a cheerleader for the North Allegheny Tigers, not the Wild Cats.

*N SYNC

* Hey Christina! You have such a beautiful voice, and I'm so inspired that you went after your dreams and succeeded! Well, before I compliment you anymore, I have a question. I recently heard that you and *N Sync don't get along, even though you were on MMC with Justin and J.C. The reason people say this is because society never sees you talking about them or doing anything with them like Britney Spears. Please clear this up! I'm so inspired by *N Sync (they are my favorite group in the whole wide world!) and you (my favorite artist)! I would hate to know you guys don't get along. FALSE. Christina has absolutely no problems with *N Sync, it's just that her schedule has not had her cross paths often with the members of *N Sync.

OPENING ACTS

* Is Christina going to have any other opening acts on her tour besides Destiny's Child?

RESPONSE. Yes. Depending on the location at least one or two other acts will join Christina and Destiny's Child. Check here on the official website to see who those acts will be.

ZOOTOPIA 2000

* We would like to know what happened at Zootopia 2000, because it was stated that Christina mistakenly ripped out her earring on stage and then fell off the side of the stage after her performance, leading to her being carried off in the arms of her dancers. What really happened? Is she OK?

FALSE. Christina is absolutely fine. She did miss the last step on the stairs off the stage and twisted her ankle very slightly. As a precaution, her security person carried her to the car. But she was immediately feeling better and did not even see the medical technician or doctor. Christina performed each of the next two nights in Boston and Philadelphia.

'COME ON OVER' REMIX

* I was just wondering if, since you are going to be releasing 'Come On Over' as a remix during the summer, if 1) you were going to commercially release it, and 2) are you going to re-release the cd with the new remix of it, kinda like what you did with 'What A Girl Wants,' if it does good?

TRUE. The new remix will be included on future manufactured CDs of the album, 'Christina Aguilera.' The new version of 'Come On Over' will also likely be released as a single in August.

HEIGHT AND WEIGHT

* Is it true that Christina is only 5'2" and weighs 110 pounds?

TRUE AND FALSE. Christina is 5'2 and weighs 102 pounds.

'DREAMY EYES'

* I've CONSTANTLY heard that Christina has a song called 'Dreamy Eyes' that was on her promotional CD, but then never re-released again. There are supposed 'lyrics' and people claim to have a copy of the promo CD, but can't make an audio sample of the song. So once and for all, can you clear this up? Did Christina ever have a song called 'Dreamy Eyes' and if so, why wasn't it released? Thanks!

TRUE. Christina did record a song called 'Dreamy Eyes.' Christina recorded 16 songs for her album, but only had room for 12. 'Dreamy Eyes' is one of the songs that did not get released on the album. But it was used on a promotional CD.

DISNEY'S GRAD NIGHT

* I recently heard that Christina was to perform at Grad Night at Disneyland on June 14. I am a senior in high school that loves Christina and I heard she was going to be performing at our Grad Night. I wanted to know if it was true or not so that I can make my plans to attend.

FALSE. Christina will not be performing at Grad Night at Disneyland.

MICKEY MOUSE TATTOO

* Is it true that you have a tattoo of Mickey Mouse somewhere on your body? Please put my rumor in the 'Rumor Mill' because I really want to find out the truth?

FALSE. Christina joked about having a Mickey Mouse tattoo on a commercial she did for Disney. Christina has no tattoos.

WRITING SONGS

* Hi! I heard a rumor about Christina Aguilera that she was planning to write her own her songs for future albums. If this is true, I think it would be very good for her career. Please tell me this is true because she already has an amazing voice - it would be even better if she was a songwriter.

TRUE. Christina co-wrote her song, 'We're A Miracle' on the 'Pokemon' soundtrack and will be writing some of the songs on her next album too.

CHRISTINA FOOTWEAR

* Dear Christina, is it true that you are soon going to have a line of footwear named after you?

TRUE. In the fall, a line of Christina footwear will be launched. It will be featured here on christina-a.com.

SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE SHOOT

* I read somewhere that at a Seventeen magazine shoot, Christina sent editors out to get her Chicken McNuggets, two large orders of fries from McDonald's, a chocolate shake, two slices of pizza, a Starbucks caffe mocha and a taco. Is all of this true?

TRUE. Christina loves fast food and ordered all those things over a 10-hour photo shoot, which included lunch and dinner.

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS

* Yesterday I was watching my favorite show on VH1, 'The Daily One.' They were going to put an Enrique Iglesias video, when the host of the show said that Enrique just broke up with Christina - that they were boyfriend and girfriend. I wanted to know if Christina and Enrique were really a couple. Thanks.

FALSE. Christina and Enrique went dancing after the 'Men Strike Back' performance, and ran into each other when they were in Miami the next week. But they were never 'really a couple' and have not had an opportunity to see each other again.

EUROPEAN TOUR

* Hi! I'd like to know if Christina is planning to make a tour in Europe - Paris in particular, because I heard that she was going to do a concert tour here.

FALSE. As of now, the only show Christina will be doing in Europe is 'Party In the Park' on July 9. No plans are in place to perform in Paris.

'25 HOTTEST STARS UNDER 25' PERFORMANCE

* I really love Christina, but on the TV show TeenPeople's '25 Hottest Stars Under 25' it looked like Christina didn't really sing at her concert. Was she really singing or not?

RESPONSE: Yes, Christina was singing this song live. In the unlikely event Christina does lipsynch on a television show for some reason, we will post it right here. Until then, it is safe to say that Christina always sings her songs live. Indeed, in the television show that there are many ad libs. It is nearly impossible to lipsynch ad libs. Also, she recorded that show the day before she got sick and you can hear it in her voice, particularly in the long notes.

ALECIA ELLIOT

* Hey Christina, I've been hearing a rumor that Alecia Elliot, the new country singer is going to be opening for you on your upcoming tour. Is this true?

TRUE AND FALSE. Alecia will open on just two shows, but will not be part of the 'Sears and Levi's Presents Christina Aguilera In Concert' tour.

'I TURN TO YOU' SINGLE RELEASE

* Hi Christina! I live in England. Due to your illness, you had to pull out of a promotional trip to the U.K. for 'I Turn to You.' Some people say the single will be released this week, others say next week, but some say it'll be about another month. When will it be released in the U.K.? Please let me know.

RESPONSE: The 'I Turn to You' commercial single release is scheduled for Monday, July 10 in the U.K.

EMINEM AND MTV INTERVIEW

* I read that the feud between you and Eminem began when you criticized him for his use of foul language. Is this true? Let me know because we'll never get the truth out of Eminem. If it is true - good for you!

TRUE. Eminem has said that he is upset at Christina because in an MTV interview she mentioned that he was married and that she didn't like his joking about domestic violence.

'DON'T MAKE ME LOVE YOU' B-SIDE

* I bought your video 'Genie Gets Her Wish.' It's brilliant. I would also like to know if your Spanish album will be available to buy in England? Also will you be releasing 'Don't Make Me Love You' as a B-side to a single or will I have to buy 'The Next Best Thing' soundtrack? Lots of love!

RESPONSE: The Spanish album will be released in the Fall throughout the world. As of now, there are no plans to release 'Don't Make Me Love You' as a B-side.
