| The Wedding Singer is about, well, a wedding singer! Robbie (the wedding singer, played by Adam Sandler), is about to marry a girl (well, a total skank, actually) named Linda. At a wedding he is singing at, he meets a girl named Julia (Drew Barrymore), who is about to get married too. At Robbie's wedding, though, Linda doesn't show up to marry Robbie. Robbie is devastated and is sent into depression. He lightens up, however, before Julia's pre-wedding, uh, gig, and meets Glenn, Julia's fiancee. Afterwards, Robbie helps Julia plan the wedding. It isn't long before --chick flick alert-- Robbie and Julia find that they are falling for each other. However, when Julia goes to Robbie's house (his sisters house) to tell him how she feels, --unchick flick-- Linda the total skankwad answers the door in nothing but Robbie's Van Halen t-shirt! Julia is so depressed that she hops a plane to Las Vegas with Glenn to get married! I don't want to spoil the rest for you (as if I already haven't) so go rent The Wedding Singer! NOW!
