Finish Valley Level the REAL Way
By: Ben Torell
To completely finish the Valley Level and get looking for the Pokemon Signs, go to the end of the Valley Level. You should see a Squirtle below a Mankey that is at the top of a hill. Get the Squirtle and Mankey lined up directly in front of you. Hit the Squirtle with a pester ball so that it slides up toward the Mankey and knocks him off. When you round the next corner, you should see the Mankey on the ground. Hit him with a pester ball and he will fall back and land on a switch that leads to a lake where Professor Oak is.

Jumping Vulpixes
By: Colin McCurdy
This trick isn't very hard, but you have to have the Volcano level. Go to the first Vulpix, make it move up the trail to the other two, and lead them too, you'll see a space by the lava pit, put a ton of apples there, the Vulpixes will run past the apples and start jumping and going: Vul, vul!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cavern Stage
By: Ben Torell
At the end of the River stage, you will see a button. Hit the moving thing in the background and a Porygon will jump out and land on the button, opening a door to the Cavern stage.

Charmander Pinball and War
By: Scyther87 (ccs@cedar-rapids.net)
In the the lava level, get to the Moltres egg BUT DON'T HIT IT WITH POKEMON FOOD OR A PESTER BALL!! When the egg stops you, look to your left, you'll see two charmanders, throw pokemon food between them, or if they're far apart, throw one in front of each of them, either way, four more Charmanders will come, then group them all together close to you, then throw pokemon food between them all, the food will bounce everywhere between the Charmanders like pinball! It's pretty funny (well, at least for me).
To have a Charmander War, do the same thing like with Charmander Pinball, but instead of crowding them up, spread them out, then throw pester balls at them like a war, they fall like they died from a gunshot!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Better Mew Picture
By: PIGZRKOOL@aol.com and Dorito9@aol.com
To get a better Mew picture, hit Mew until he comes out of his forcefield. Then, when Mew is chasing his forcefield hit him with a pester ball. Mew will spin around and then stop, giving you the opportunity to snap a great picture.
You can get even better picture of Mew then hitting him once. First, you have to get Mew out of his glowing ball. Then, You hit him once, twice, however many times it takes until he is very very close. You'll get over 9,000 points for this picture.

View Ending

Successfully take photographs of all Pokémon in the game and unlock all the levels. Then after saving the game an ending sequence featuring the photographs you captured will begin.

Volcano Stage
By: Wolfpacjes@aol.com
Throw Pester Balls at the last Electrode in the Tunnel level, near the exit gate. It will then self-destruct and open a path to the Volcano level.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Three Starmies
By: Wolfpacjes@aol.com
When you see the staryu after the Gyrados take a picture of it. He will start spinning around you. There are two more, take their pictures too. After you did, they should fly into the whirlpool were Dragonite comes out. They should pop out really fast, so be really quick.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dancing Gravelers
By: CapnFalcn
In the valley stage on the game Pokemon Snap, it is really hard to get a good picture of Graveler. To get a good picture, travell down the river until you see Staryu. Then look to left and you will see some Gravelers clinging to a wall. Play your pokeflute to get the Gravelers down and they will do a dance. If you get pictures of this; you will earn some special points by Proffessor Oak.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Swinging Lapras
By: viper64 (viper64@chalktv.com)
Select the beach level from the level select screen, make sure that you already have the Pokeflute and Dash Engine. Look over the water right from the start, until you see the first Lapras, take one picture of it making sure that your zoom cursor is on the pokemon and had turned red. Keep looking over the horizon for more Lapras throughout the level, never take you eyes of the water. Every Lapras that surfaces is must have a picture of it take, (This is like getting the Dugtrio in the Tunnel Level), making sure that the cursor is on the Pokemon. When you enter the area with the Kangaskhan, use your dash engine to move quickly to the already surfacing Lapras's. If you manage to snap all the Lapras up to the alcove just before the Kangaskhan, then a Lapras will surface extremely close, you will get the 1000 points for size. Play you Pokeflute and the Lapras, along with two other close ones in the background, will start swinging to the music. Try different songs for different sways. Take your shot when you are in the middle of the alcove. Don't worry about the Lapras, it doesn't go away unless the music stops. You will get special pointers for a dancing Lapras, 1000 points for size, 1300 your pose, x2 for technique, and between 260 to 800 points for Same Pokemon.

Singing JigglyPuffs
By: Rhydon231@aol.com
In the CAVE, there are three spots where a koffing is chasing a jigglypuff, save her by throwing a pester ball at the koffing. Do this to three koffings and three jigglypuffs will sing for you on stage near the end of the stage. Take shot at them, they're worth many!

Pikachu Pictures
By: Rhydon231@aol.com
Surf Pikachu - In the BEACH stage there is a pikachu near the start. Throw some apples to lure it to the surfboard a little farther on. Then when he's close enough, he will pause for a while then runs to the surfboard and do some poses. This is great if you are taking them up close and saving them into the album!
Thunder Pikachu - Sometimes when you play a Pokeflute near a Pikachu, he will start doing his thunder shock attack. This is great for some points at the beach up close.
Pikachu(2) On A Stump AND Scyther - When you reach the tall grass where a meowth comes out chasing a pidgey, throw as many pester balls in the tall grass to the left and a scyther will come out flying and doing some attacks, take a shot at him before he flies away, no keep looking left, you will see two pikachus come out of the grass and go on the stumps. You can try to take pics of both of them while on the stump or you can use the pokeflute to make them use their thundershock move then take a shot.
Pikachu On Ball - Near the start of the TUNNEL stage, there's a pikachu, take a snap at it, he'll run farther, now take another and another till he goes on the rolling voltorb. Quickly try to take some good shots at him upclose when he's on the ball for good credit.
Pikachu On Balloons - When you reach almsot near the end of the CAVE, there's a zubat holding and flying with a pikachu, if you hit the zubat with a pester ball, he'll drop pikachu and pikachu will have balloons, this is worth lots of points!
Pikachu On Articuno - Before doing this, make sure you have pikachu freed from zubat's grasp in the CAVE, there'll be two JYNX's, if you use the pokeflute near'em, they'll start clapping (good beat!) the blue egg in the middle will start to float and hatch into Articuno.(you can take shots at him for the ARTICUNO shot) Now when you pass by the jynx's quickly turn around, you will see pikachu riding on articuno, take a shot at PIKACHU NOT articuno or it will count as articuno.
Swift Pikachu - Near the end of the RIVER, there's a log to the left with pikachu on top, throw an apple at pikachu's head, he will come out of the log and back. Make sure you react quickly cause he's VERY fast.

Getting To Rainbow Cloud Stage
By: Rhydon231@aol.com
Find all the six pokemon signs after beating the valley (the other way) then prof. oak will open the rainbow cloud stage, you can only get mew shots there.
TIP: If you're looking to get a good shot of mew, after breaking mew's barrier in the RAINBOW CLOUD stage using apples, she'll start trying to chase her barrier, quickly throw an apple at her, she'll spin around and face you, this is worth alot! I got about 9000 for points!!!

The Six Pokemon Signs
By: Jared (ssj_gohan@xoommail.com)
After bowling the Squirtle into the Mankey at the end of the Valley Level, Prof. Oak will tell you to find six Pokemon signs. Here are the locations of them:
Beach - At the first of the turns on the railroad track, turn to your left about 120 degrees, there you will see rocks in the form of a Kingler.
Tunnel - This one is tricky, at the second Pikachu you see, lure him to the egg. Then play your flute and Pikachu goes nuts. He shocks open the egg with a Zapdos inside. The Zapdos then goes over to the generator and turns it on. Keep going past the two screens on the right until you see a shadow that looks like a Pinsir.
Volcano - At the beginning look to your right. Throw a pester ball in the small volcano. The smoke after in goes in will be in the shape of a Koffing.
River - Go down river until you see the Slowpoke on your left. Turn right instead and wake up the Vileplume with your flute. This gets rid of the smoke whick displays the tree above. Take a picture of the tree that looks like Cubone.
Cavern - Go through the cavern until you are close to the Weepinbell. Turn around the left way until you see sparkling crystals. Take a picture of the big one. When you see the developed picture it will look like Mewtwo.
Valley - You would have to be just plain dumb to miss this one. The three hills directly ahead in the start look like Dugtrio. Aim a little high on the middle one.

Pokemon Locations
By: Jonathan Tran (jonny5v@yahooo.com), Ben Torell and a hundred others
Scyther - Go to the Beach. Go to the grass were it's begin cut. Throw a Pester Ball were the leaves are coming from. If done correctly Scyther will come out.
Dugtrio - Go to the tunnel by the pekachu and diglet. Take a picture of diget poping up and then pekachu will move somewhere else and diglet will follow. Keep doing this until three diglets come together to make a Dugtrio!
Growlithe and Arcinine - Go to the Valcano and go to the end where the three craters on your right are. Throw Pester Balls into the craters and Growlithes and Arcinine will come out.
Charizard - Go to the Valcano and go to the Charmelon at the end. Throw an apple at it so it will fall into the lava pit. He will turn into a Charizard.
Slowbro - Go to the River. Get the Slowpoke to get on the stump near the sigh of a shelder and it will stick his tall in and become a Slowbro.
Muk - Go to the Cave and take a picture of the first two grimers on your left. A third one will appear on the opposite side three Dittos (look like Bulbasaurs). Throw about three Pester Balls at it and it will evolve into a Muk.
Starmie - Go to the Valley and take a picture of a Staryu. It will circule you and go into the whirlpool and a Starmie will come out.
Dragonite - Go to the Valley and go to the whirlpool. Throw three Pester Balls into it and a Dragonite will come out. Gyarados - In the Valley level, it the Magikarp (jumping up and down in the water) with a Pester Ball or Apple onto the land where the first Mankey is. Mankey will kick it far over the mountain. When you reach where the three Gravelers are, the Magikarp should land there. Hit it with a Pester Ball and it will go back into the water. Gyarados will pop is head out of the waterfall.
Victreebel - In the Cave level, hit the Weepinbell into the pond with a Pester Ball. It will evolve into a Victreebel.
Sandslash - In the Valley level, hit the first Geodude on the left with a Pester Ball so he will fall down. While the first Geodude is down, hit the Geodude right next to it. If done correctly, the Graveler on the very top will fall. A Sandslash will pop out of the ground. Take a picture of him because he won't stay there for long.
Magneton - At the end of the tunnel there are several magnemites. Throw apples at all of them and they should gather up and turn into a Magneton!
Bulbasaur - In addition to the two Bulbasaurs in the craters in the River level, there is another hidden in a nearby log. Throw an apple near the log's opening and it will appear.
Chansey - Throw a Pester Ball at the ball that Eevee is chasing in the Beach level and Chansey will appear.
Charmander - Get stuck behind Moltres' egg in the Volcano level and look left to see two Charmanders. Then, throw an apple at both of them and they will roar to call more Charmanders to join them. You can get almost ten Charmanders in the same photograph for extra points.
Charmeleon - Throw an apple between the Charmander and the Magmar in the Volcano level. Then the Magmar will run up and blow fire at the Charmander, causing it to evolve into Charmeleon.
Diglett - Diglett appears on the left side of the Tunnel level, next to a Pikachu.
Ditto - The three Bulbasaurs at the beginning of the Cave level are really Dittos. Throw some Pester Balls at them to change them back into their true form.
Graveler - Play the Poké Flute at the location in the Valley level that has three Gravelers. They will wake up and dance for a photograph that is worth more points.
Haunter - Take a photograph of the purplish mist in the first part of the Tunnel level. Then a Haunter will appear when the photograph is developed.
Magmar - Get a photograph of the two Magar blowing fire in the Volcano level for more points.
Mankey - Mankeys are found out in the open in the Valley level.
Magnemite - Throw an apple right in front of the Magnemite in the Tunnel level. It will then stop its sonic wave and become photographable.
Meowth - Play the Poké Flute in front of Meowth in the Beach level to make it dance for a better photograph.
Metapod - Throw Pester Balls at the Metapods in the Cave level and they will drop down for a close-up.
Mew - Use the following technique to get an easier photograph of Mew. Once in the Rainbow level, pop Mew's energy shield by throwing Pester Balls at it. Then, use the Dash Engine to keep up with Mew for a minute, then snap away when he turns around to look at you. This must be done quickly before he returns inside the energy shield.
Another technique is to hit Mew with a Pester Ball while it is chasing the energy shield. It will start spinning in place for a few seconds before disappearing. To keep it from disappearing, keep throwing Pester Balls at it. Do this through the whole level to keep Mew in front of you the entire time.
After the second time Mew flies at you in its energy shield, turn your camera to the left and up slightly. When Mew flies by it immediately does flips. Take a close-up of it in the classic curl position while its whole body is towards you, with the light behind it. This results in a photograph worth over 8000 points.
Muk - Shoot Pester Ball at the Grimmer in the Cave level to evolve it into a Muk.
Pikachu - Play the Poké Flute in front of Pikachu in the Beach level to have it use a Thundershock attack for a better photograph. Throw a Pester Ball at the Zubat that is carrying Pikachu in the Cave level. Pikachu will come down attached to balloons. Next, it will run over to where Articuno is found. Release Articuno with the Poké Flute. Then when approaching the end of the level, look behind to see Pikachu riding on Articuno. Throw apples towards the Surf Board in the Beach level immediately after seeing Pikachu to have it pose on the board, including backflips. After flushing Scyther out in the Beach level, two Pikachu will dash out and jump up on stumps. Play the Poké Flute and they will start zapping. The photo of Pikachu on a stump with a Thundershock is worth a lot of extra points.
Porygon - Go past Vileplume's location in River |
