The MMGA publishes the bi-monthly newsletter Catapaults and Cannons.

Area: The MMGA supports the state of Minnesota. It is centered on the Twin
Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN.
Cons: The MMGA holds a convention, the MiniCon, quarterly. The next
MiniCon is Mar 28, 1998 09:00 to 23:00 and Mar 29, 13:00 to 16:00.
This MiniCon will feature: a national micro armor tournament sponsored
by CinC Soft Metal Castings, a DBA/DBM tournament, a WarHammer
event, and many other historical, fantasy, and science fiction games.
Painting and terrain board construction demonstrations will be held on
the 29th.

Meetings: We meet on the first floor of Minn Hall, Winona State University,
approximately every other Saturday except for school breaks.
We also meet once per month during the summer at a location to be announced.
Regular meetings run from noon to midnight, with a break for dinner(5-6pm)
and business meeting(6-7pm) in the middle. Dues are $1 per meeting or $10
for a one-year membership(which gives a member a 10% discount at the local
gaming store). The dues are an artifact of the school and are assessed
because we have non-student members and cannot use school-supplied funds
to cover expenses generated by the non-student members.
Interests: We play mostly role-playing games (as opposed to ROLL-playing games)
