1. GRAHAM TAYLOR talks to Conor Farrell
This interview was undertaken before Watford had gained Premiership status but were going well in Division One. It's taken a long time to get on my website but this is an exclusive interview. But firstly a bit about Graham
Taylor.
Nicknamed 'Turnip' by the press, Graham Taylor was dubbed a failure after a disappointing reign as England manager. But he picked himself up and landed himself the managerial job at Molineux, taking over from Graham Turner. This was the kind of job Taylor loved: the chairman Sir Jack Hayward digging deep into his pockets at Taylor's request. Taylor spent millions but to no avail. He finally left in 1996 and was once again dubbed a failure by everyone. This was soon too change. He took over at Second Division side Watford and steered them into Division One and then the unthinkable happened; he steered them into the Premiership. They finished bottom, but
Taylor had overcome his critics leaving many fans feeling guilty of their treatment to the man.
In the interview Taylor explains the reasons why he left Molineux to Conor Farrell.
