I just heard from nintendo.com that Game Boy has a big future ahead of them. They have an advance called the Game Boy Advance, temporary name. It is gonna have a 32-bit RISC CPU developed by Cambridge, a well-known maker of cell-phone CPUs.It is supposed to let you send e-mail, chat, download game software, play in multi-player games, access the Internet and can be hooked up to a cell phone. Using a planned digital camera accessory (not Game Boy Camera), you will be able to see the other person's face they you are playing against. Release in Japan-August 2000, U.S.-Christmas 2000. Here's the info: LCD screen: Reflective TFT olor LCD, 40.8mm x 61.2mm, Resolution: 240 x 160 pixels, colors to be displayed--65,000, size: approximately Height 80mm/Width 135mm/Depth 25mm, weight---- approximitley 140g., power supply---- 2 AA Alkaline batteries (I use any kind of battery), battery life---20 hours. No price yet, but this is suppoed to be a major advance in Game Boy.
