| These are February's PSX Previews: 1.Alundra 2- Players explore a 3D environment such as a vast forest, a spewing volcano, a sunken ship, and more than one underground cavern. You make many friends who help you during the game. The sequel comes to markets sounding a lot like a game we already know....Zelda!! 2.Grand Turismo 2- Hundreds of new cars, great graphics, 20 more tracks, what more could you ask!!!? The game is pretty much the same as the first one. I asked some of my friends if they liked it, and they said the first one was way better. This one also seems a lot harder. 3.The Misadventures of Tron Bonne- If you liked Mega Man Legends, you'll like this one because this is the sequel. The agme got pretty poor ratings, though. For example mostly every magazine I have looked in says it has horrible sound. Why? I don't know. The rest was rated mediocre.(graphics, control, fun) The game also ends too quickly. 4.Jackie Chan Stuntmaster- This game features our favorite stunt performer- Jackie Chan. This game has comic book graphics featuring average animation that show's Chan's actual stunts. The music is good and Chan actually talks in it, too. The agme is supposedly too easy because of the controls. 5.MLB 2001-989 brings a new title to its collection. Players look realistic which means graphics are pretty good, although they look a bit choppy. The game has quick gameplay compared to other PSX games. This game is a good choice to add to a baseball fan's collection. 6.NASCAR Rumble-EA sports brings a racing title to the market. This game includes wild and crazy tracks. There are racecar legends in the game such as Cale Yarborough, Bobby Allison, and Richard Petty. And listen to this one: the game allows you to drive in a golf cart, a jet car, and a truck loaded with chicken crates! Sounds cool , huh? 7.Road Rash: Jailbreak-This is an arcade style racer that has easy control, good sound, and is really fun. On this one, you can turn the table: you can be the police, that is if you want. There is also a new sidecar mode: thsi allows one player to drive the motorcycle, the other one fights the competition!! With all these features, Jailbreak is the best PSX Roadrash yet. 8.Street Sk8er 2- Well, my friends told me not to do this one,but, ah what the hey? The sequel to Street Sk8er 1 goes up against a big challenger..Tony Hawk. There are 4 cities, 11 street-style and vertical events, and you can pull more than 200 tricks, and listen to this one: you can build your own skatepark, save it, and ride there when ever you want. Also, there are 30 different skateboards, and 10 different boarders to choose from. It also comes with a multiplaye mode. Will Tony have a challenge, finally???.... 9.Syphon Filter 2-I'm sorry I don't have a long article on this one. The thing is that everything is practically the same old story. Except, thsi time 989 produces a shooter. SF comes back with the same stuff except for a multiplayer mode like on Goldeneye. This game comes on two discs. The launch date is in March. 10.WWF Smackdown-You don;t have to wait 'til Thursday any more. Actual Tiatantron, player interaction, ally, enemy, go locker rooms, parking lot, etc, special guest referee, over 35 superstars, signature moves, THQ, March. Need I say more???????? |
