A big vert ramp, or a fast street course with a smooth surface.
Favorite place to skate?
Mission Valley YMCA vert ramp (until the new Encinitas ramp is finished)

How often do you skate?
At least four times a week
Most memorable skateboarding experience?
Finally making a 9 [hundred] after trying it for 6 years.
Favorite band/music?
All time favorite - The Clash. I like the new NIN, anything including, Perry Farrell, Portishead, Propellerheads, Tom Waits, Tribe Called Quest, Pixies... I could go on forever.
Got any pets?
Two cats - Bilbo and Stitches. My wife is pushing for a dog, but I'm not yet convinced that it's a good idea.
Were your parents supportive of your skateboarding?
Definitely. My dad founded the National Skateboard Association in the early 80's when there was no other organization putting on events. He also started CASL, which is still going strong. My mom was always there to cheer the loudest.
What would you be doing if you never started skating?
Sitting behind a computer (like now), editing video or programming html
Any advice to fellow skateboarders?
Be persistent and don't let yourself get easily frustrated. This stuff is hard to learn! Persevere
