| April 3,1998 In less than one week Van Halen will kick off their 1998 world tour in Wellington New Zealand. March 23,1998 Not even a new album from Van Halen could knock Titanic from the #1 spot at the Billboard album charts that week. Van Halen debutedat #4 with sales of 191,000, 9 tho. short of #2 album by Celine Dion, I have heard that song on the radio at least twice an hour. I'm tired of that song anyway. Van Halen three previous albums Vol. 1, Balance, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge all debuted at #1 on the charts. If you have went out and purchaced Van Halen III, like I did, and have thoughts on the album, good or bad, the new lead vocalist Gary Cherone, and if you like it, e-mail me with tour thoughts, thanks. Personally I like the new album. I went out and got it the day it came out and I'm still listening to it right now.but I will add it's a much more mature Van Halen sound compared to the David Lee Roth Days (the good old days).I Like Gary Cherone, I think he does a great job.they sound great togeher, If they can just stay together. I've heard their getting along great. But I'm still a big fan of the David Lee Roth days, all their songs were about women in some way or another, and they're all awesome songs.
