TORRANCE JUJITSU SCHOOL: The TORRANCE JUJITSU SCHOOL is located at the Torrance-South Bay YMCA about 15 minutes south of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Sepulveda Boulevard Torrance, California 90505 Information: (818) 882-7022 Email: valleyjujitsu@aol.com CLASS INFORMATION: - INSTRUCTION: Jujitsu classes for youths, teenagers and adults are offered on a weekly basis at the Torrance-South Bay YMCA. We teach the MUSHIN RYU JUJITSU system which is a self-defense oriented martial art. - CLASS INFORMATION: Jujitsu classes at the TORRANCE JUJITSU SCHOOL meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 PM with a family oriented program. We have separate youth and adult mats training at the same time. The jujitsu program at the Torrance-South Bay YMCA was established back in 1971 and has continued since then. Classes are taught by Professor David A. Bellman, Director and Chief Instructor. Professor Bellman has trained in jujitsu since 1962 and holds the rank of 9th degree black belt. |
