The Ancient Art of Jujitsu:
Hundreds of years ago jujitsu was used by the samurai warriors of ancient Japan on the battlefield for survival. Today, jujitsu remains one of the most effective, practical and devastating martial arts in the world.
Joints and ligaments on the body are bent, torqued, twisted, flexed and manipulated forcing an attacker into immediate submission or control. Jujitsu strikes are delivered with precision to nerve regions and pressure points throughout the body. The affects are dramatic, precise and effective.
Whether forced onto the ground or attacked by multiple assailants, one thing is for certain ... jujitsu works!
Individuals trained in jujitsu learns to defend themselves at close range, medium range, long range, and out of range. Jujitsu offers defenses against knives, hand guns, shotguns and clubs.
Jujitsu is based on principles of physics. Because of this fact, a weaker or smaller person is comfortably able to overcome a bigger or stronger attacker.
Beginning jujitsu students are trained in escaping from various holds. Some of those holds include bear hugs, wrist and shoulder grabs, chokes and lapel grabs, hair grabs and attempted tackles. In addition, ground grappling, take downs, control techniques, joint manipulation, blocking, striking and kicking techniques are taught.
