Chapter II: Pantercu's Arrival

EXT. - TOWNSVILLE CITYSCAPE - DAY(BUT WITH DARK SKY)
NARRATOR: The city of Townsville. And now to the reason it's so dark out right
now.
CUT TO:
EXT. - OUTSKIRTS OF TOWNSVILLE - DAY WITH DARK SKY
Mojo Jojo is standing in front of the DRAGON BALLS, above which floats the
miles-long ETERNAL DRAGON, SHENLON.
MOJO: Eternal Dragon, I am ready to give my wish. And because I am ready I will
now tell you what my wishes are. You must grant my wishes because you are the
Eternal Dragon. You are bound by the rules of the Dragon Balls to...
SHENLON(seems irritated): THEN MAKE YOUR WISHES, NOW!
MOJO: Okay, okay. My first wish for you to grant, is to revive my greatest
creations, the creations to come closest to destroying the Powerpuff Girls than
anything else I have made. The only ones who are strong enough to do what I
need. Dragon, revive the Rowdyruff Boys, and make them immune to what defeated
them before!
SHENLON(His red eyes glow): YOUR WISH IS GRANTED.
CUT TO:
EXT. - TOWNSVILLE PARK - DAY WITH DARK SKY
In front of Mojo's observatory, THE ROWDYRUFF BOYS, BRICK, BOOMER, and BUTCH
suddenly appear out of nowhere.
CUT TO: MOJO and SHENLON
MOJO: Where are they. You said my wish was granted. So I expect to see the
Rowdyruffs here. But they are not here, so I assume my wish was not granted. But
you said the wish was granted, so where are they?
SHENLON: THEY HAVE BEEN REVIVED, THEY ARE CURRENTLY STANDING IN THE PLACE WHERE
THEY DIED.
MOJO(Thinking out loud): That means that they are in front of my lair. Because
it was there that they perished at the hands of the Powerpuff Girls. Or more
precisely, the mouths of the Powerpuff Girls, for it was their kisses that
destroyed them. And kisses have nothing to do with hands. But because that is
where the Rowdyruff Boys died, that is where they are. Oh, I wish they were here
right now.
SHENLON(His red eyes glow): YOUR WISH IS GRANTED.
Mojo hears this and slaps himself in the forehead. The Rowdyruffs boys appear in
front of the Dragon Balls.
BRICK: Yo, Moj, what's up. The last thing I remember is those Powerpuff sissies
giving us disgusting kisses.
BOOMER & BUTCH(Together, with nauseous looks on their faces): Yeah.
MOJO: Oh, my children, you are back. And since you are back you can get revenge
on the Powerpuff Girls. They will fall before your might. And to ensure that, I
will use the third wish of the Dragon Balls. I had meant to use my second wish,
but I mistakenly used it to bring you three here. And because I accidentally
used the Dragon's second wish I must be careful as to how I use the third.
BOOMER: Dragon?
Boomer looks up at Shenlon.
BOOMER: WOAH!!
BRICK & BUTCH: Huh?
They look where Boomer's looking.
BRICK: YEEAAOOOWW!!
BUTCH: BITCHIN'!!
MOJO: Butch! language!
BUTCH: Sorry.
MOJO: Now, for the third wish. Shenlon.
SHENLON: MAKE YOUR FINAL WISH.
BRICK: Woah.
MOJO: My final wish for you to grant. Make the Rowdyruffs TWICE as strong as
they are now.
SHENLON(His eyes glow red): YOUR WISH IS GRANTED.
A blue aura surrounds the Boys. They spasm as what seems to be massive
electricity hits them. The aura fades, and the Boys stand there with stunned
looks on their faces.
BUTCH: That was...weird.
BRICK: Yeah.
BOOMER: Uh-huh.
SHENLON: MY WORK IS DONE.
Shenlon flies off into the air and disappears. The Dragon Balls themselves begin
floating into the air and suddenly shoot into the sky. They then form a sphere
and seven beams of yellow light break off and shoot into seven different
directions. Afterwards, the sky begins to clear and the sun is again visible.
BRICK & BOOMER: COOL!
BUTCH: BITCHIN'!
Brick slaps Butch upside the head.
BRICK: Mojo said watch the language.
BUCTH: Alright, alright, sorry.(mutters under his breath) Goody-goody.
BRICK: I heard that!
He punches Butch and the Green Rowdyruff goes flying.
BOOMER: Brick, what'd you do.
BRICK: I don't know. I didn't think I'd him that hard.
MOJO: Ahh, yess. The wish worked, you are now twice as strong than you already
were before.
BRICK: Twice as...(goes wide-eyed)...uh-oh.
Butch flies at Brick and grabs him in a massive headlock.
BUTCH: Why you little! I'm gonna make you regret that!
Butch and Brick start duking it out.
BOOMER: Hey, guys. Stop it. Guys. GUYS!
MOJO(His back turned, he ignores the fight behind him): Yessss, with the Dragon
Balls I now have gained the means to seek the conquest I always have craved. I
will also have the revenge on the Powerpuff Girls I have always wanted. Because
of the Rowdyruffs' enhanced power I will have all the things I crave. Ha, ha,
ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
The Boys stop what they're doing to look at Mojo. Butch and Brick are a little
worse for wear but not seriously hurt. Boomer is in the middle trying to
separate them. They realize what Mojo's talking about and smile themselves.
BRICK: So, Moj, what're we gonna do?
MOJO: We will wait and prepare for the Powerpuff Girls arrival. They are
currently out-of-town. And while this is a prime opportunity for destruction, my
plan hinges on surprise. So therefore, we can do nothing until we can catch the
Powerpuff Girls by surprise, because doing so is what my plan depends on.
BUTCH: So what do we do 'til then?
MOJO: You are now much stronger than you once were, so we will use the time to
learn to control your new strength. For if you were to fight the Powerpuff Girls
and lose control of your powers, the results would be disasterous. For losing
control could eaasily cause you to destroy yourselves or even worse, me.
BOOMER: Yeah, then we'll make them Powerpuffs pay.
All four begin laughing.
NARRATOR: Oh, no. The Rowdyruff Boys are back and even more powerful than
before. We're in deep trouble.
EXT. - POWERPUFF GIRLS' SUBURBAN HOME - DAY(1 WEEK LATER)
NARRATOR: Ah, the Girls' are back, and since it's Saturday our girls are
probably relaxing in the warmth of the day, unaware of the danger coming to
them.
CUT TO:
BACKYARD
BUTTERCUP is practicng her fighting moves alone, she is wearing a gi like the
one that was shredded in the Budoukai. Meanwhile, BLOSSOM and PROFESSOR UTONIUM
lay back in lawn chairs, both barefoot and wearing shorts and tank tops. BUBBLES
is in a sundress and a straw hat working in a garden.
CUT TO:
Blossom and Utonium talking.
BLOSSOM: What time is Pan supposed to get here?
UTONIUM(checks his watch): Well, Videl said their flight came in at 5:00, so
we've got a few hours.
BLOSSOM: I don't think Buttercup can wait that long.
Buttercup's practice has gotten faster and harder. Her eyes betray her
impatience.
BUBBLES(moving to Blossom and the Professor): Maybe it's because she's never
been able to really enjoy any of her past fights.
Utonium and Blossom look at Bubbles as she continues her explanation.
BUBBLES: Whenever she fights monsters or villains, she's fighting for her life
and to help people. When she fights on the holodeck, the monsters are fake, and
no matter how real they seem, Buttercup knows they're fake. And she can't fight
one of us without worrying about hurting us. So Pan is the first person she's
met who didn't want Buttercup to hold back, and she would never hold back
herself, so Buttercup finally has someone who wants to fight for the same reason
she does. For fun.
Utonium and Blossom stare at Bubbles stunned. Buttercup is so intent on her
training she's oblivious to the conversation.
UTONIUM: Uh...Blossom?
BLOSSOM: Well, she's been right before.
The discussion is suddenly interrupted by a large explosion in the city.
BUTTERCUP: WHAT WAS THAT?
BLOSSOM: I don't know, let's go check it out right now.
BUBBLES: But Blossom...
BLOSSOM: Whatever it is Bubbles, it'll have to wait.
She flies off.
BUBBLES: But Blossom, we have to change clothes.
BUTTERCUP: C'mon, Bubbles. Let's change and catch up to her.
They rush into the house. A second or so passes and a blue and green streak fly
out of the Girls' bedroom windows.
CUT TO:
SKY
Blossom is flying toward Townsville, unaware she forgot to change into the
standard PpG uniform. Buttercup and Bubbles quickly catch up to her, Buttercup
wearing an amused smirk on her face. She and Bubbles are quietly giggling to
themselves.
CUT TO:
EXT. - CONDEMNED SECTION OF THE CITY OF TOWNSVILLE - DAY
The Rowdyruff Boys are trashing the city.
BOOMER: Are you sure them Powerpuffs are gonna be here, Brick?
BRICK: Mojo said destroying Townsville would bring 'em here.(Listens carefully)
I think I hear them coming.
The Powerpuff Girls land behind the RrB.
BRICK(turning around): Well, it seems the Powerpuff sissies have arri...(sees
Blossom)WOAH!!
The other two are also surprised but nowhere near as stunned as Brick.
BLOSSOM: What's with you? (what she's wearing finally hits her) Oops!
Uh...Bubbles...is this what you were trying to tell me?
Bubbles nods, trying to resist breaking out in laughter.
BLOSSOM(more to herself): Well, I guess I just have to make due...(looks at
Brick)WILL YOU STOP STARING AT ME!
Brick suddenly snaps back to reality.
BRICK: Okay, let's get 'em.
BOOMER & BUTCH: Yeah!
The RrBs attack their PpG couterparts. Bubbles is having trouble with Boomer,
Blossom is doing very well against the distracted Brick, Buttercup and Butch are
about even.
CUT TO:
INT. - UTONIUM LIVING ROOM
Utonium is answering a ringing phone.
UTONIUM: Hello.
VOICE ON OTHER END: Professor, this is Videl, Pan's mother.
UTONIUM: Oh, hello Mrs. ... uh...
VIDEL: Please, just Videl.
UTONIUM: OK, Videl, why are you calling, something happen?
VIDEL: No, not at all. In fact, I called to tell you Pan and I got an earlier
flight. We're landing as I speak and we'll be there in a few minutes.
UTONIUM: That's great, Buttercup will be excited.
VIDEL: Yeah, she will...Pan, okay I'll ask. Pan wants to know if Buttercup can
talk right now.
UTONIUM: No, not right now. She and her sisters went to check out a problem in
the city.
VIDEL: Oh, alright. (stewardesses voice intrerrupts)
STEWARDESS: We have now landed in Townsville, We here hope you enjoyed your
flight. We will now be opening the doors, please leave in an orderly fashion.
LITTLE GIRL!
VIDEL: PAN! Come back here!
UTONIUM: What happened?
VIDEL: The second they opened the doors on the plane, Pan bolted. She must be
going after the Girls. I have to go. Talk to you later.
UTONIUM: All right. Bye.
Utonium hangs up the phone and sits down to watch TV.
CUT TO:
PpG/RrB BATTLEFIELD
Blossom is taking on Brick, and doing very well. Brick is still distracted by
Blossom's attire and hasn't even fought back yet. Buttercup and Butch are
fighting in an alley. They're about even strength, matching each other easily.
Bubbles, however, is in the air having a lot of trouble with Boomer. He is
beating away her every attack. He finally hits Bubbles and she begins plummeting
to the ground.
BOOMER: OK! It's time to finish you, pigtails!
He assumes a pitchers' stance and a blue ball of energy appears in his hand.
BOOMER: Let's see how you like my new BOOMER BALL!
He throws the ball and it flies at Bubbles.
NARRATOR: Oh, no. BUBBLES!!
A shadowy figure appears and pulls Bubbles out of the ball's path just before it
hits her. The Boomer Ball hits a condemned building and it is completely
vaporized in a huge explosion.
NARRATOR: Hey, who was that?
The somke clears and we see PAN. She's holding Bubbles and is wearing an orange
skirt with white pants and black boots. She could easily pass for a Powerpuff
Girl.
BUBBLES(regaining consciousness): ...uhhhh...Pan?
PAN: Yep. You okay Bubbles?
BUBBLES(flying in the air again): Yeah, I'm fine.
PAN: Good, go see if one of your sisters needs help.(she looks at Boomer) I can
take this loser on myself.
BUBBLES: But what if...
PAN(interrupting): Don't worry, I've fought Buttercup, remember.
BUBBLES(smiles): Oh yeah.
Bubbles flies off.
PAN: So, who are you anyway?
BOOMER: I'm Boomer, from the Rowdyruff Boys.
PAN: Well, Boomie, I'm Pan, daughter of Son Gohan.
She doesn't give him time to respond. Pan attacks head on and gives Boomer a
hard punch in the face. Followed by a series of kicks. Boomer splits off and
prepares another Boomer Ball. He throws it at Pan. Pan lifts her hands over her
head, one palm behind the other.
PAN: MASENKO!!
The Masenko overpowers the Boomer Ball and heads for Boomer himself. Boomer
dodges it just in time and the beam heads off into the sky. Pan continues her
offensive.
CUT TO:
ALLEY
Butch and Buttercup are fighting each other with a passion. No matter what one
throws the other matches it and attacks with his or her own move.
BUTCH: Time to show one of my new moves, Greenie.
His ponytail suddenly grows very long and lashes at Buttercup like a whip.
Buttercup takes a few lashes and just avoids getting tied up.
BUTTERCUP: Yeah, that all? I got a new move of my own.
Buttercup's eyes and mitts begin to glow. She shoots her red eye and green hand
beams at the same time, they coalesce into one streak of white light. Buttercup
has just fired the Quadruple Strike.
Butch takes the beam full force. And is thrown into the building behind him. He
steps from the rubble bruised, bloody, and VERY angry.
CUT TO:
STREET
Brick has finally regained his composure and is attacking Blossom. Blossom is
fighting back but is having some trouble. Brick brings his fist back to land a
hard punch but he is suddenly kicked away by Bubbles. Brick flies into wall.
Blossom goes over to Bubbles.
BLOSSOM: Bubbles, what're you doing here?
BUBBLES: Pan came and took on the Blue Rowdyruff. She said to come and see if
you or Buttercup needed help. You needed help, so, here I am.
BLOSSOM: Thanks. I owe you one. Now, when he gets up grab him and hold him down.
BUBBLES: Right.
Brick gets out of the rubble and begins to attack again. But Bubbles stops him
by grabbing his arms and holds him still Brick struggles as Blossom flies up to
Brick, lips puckered.
BRICK: No, not that!
Blossom plants a big kiss on Brick and steps away. Brick doesn't disintegrate
like last time. Bubbles is shocked and accidentally releases her hold on Brick.
Brick recovers from the shock and sends a roundhouse kick into Bubbles' jaw. She
goes flying down the street. Brick then looks at Blossom.
BRICK: Oh, you're PAYING for that.
He assumes a pitchers stance similar to Boomer's but instead of forming a ball
of energy he grabs the bill of his hat.
BRICK: Try my Disk-Cap on for size!!
He throws his hat at Blossom. It suddenly glows red and turns into an energy
disk. Blossom dodges it but not quite fast enough. her hair trails behind her
and the Disk-Cap shears an inch and a half off her ponytail. She looks at Brick
with a mixture of shock and anger.
BLOSSOM: That does it!
She shoots her Ice Breath and it hits Brick freezing him in place.
CUT TO:
EXT. - BUILDING ROOFTOP
Mojo stands on the rooftop and takes out a bullhorn.
MOJO: Rowdyruffs, enough playing around. It is time to show them your full
power. For you have only been fighting at half your full strength and have
therefore been playing with them. Go to your full strength and DESTROY THEM!!
CUT TO:
STREET
Brick can be seen smiling through the ice. He begins to scream and red
electricity streams around him. His screams become louder and a red aura covers
him and shatters the ice. Blossom and Bubbles begin to look worried.
CUT TO:
SPLIT-SCREEN of Boomer and Butch screaming and forming auras around them in
their respective colors.
CUT TO:
Another SPLIT-SCREEN of Pan and Buttercup with worried expressions on their own
faces.
CUT TO:
STREET
Brick is standing free of the ice. The red aura receeds into him. Brick looks
like he did before. Suddenly, Brick disappears, he reappears behind Blossom and
Bubbles and hits them right in the small of the back. The two Girls fall foward
screaming in pain. They are kneeling on the ground. With Brick standing by them.
BRICK: By the way, Mojo made us twice as strong than what we were at when me an'
my bros fought you the first time.
Brick walks in front of them.
BRICK: Well, what d'you think of that?
VOICE FROM NOWHERE: I think you're just a bully.
All of a sudden, a hand grabs Brick's shirt and gives him a hefty throw into a
nearby building.
BRICK(recovering): What, who're you?
A woman is standing in front of Blossom and Bubbles. She's wearing a yellow
bodysuit with a blue tunic(similar to the one the hero of the Legend of Zelda
games wears). She also has a blue helmet with a black visor and a yellow cape.
WOMAN(While striking a Sailor Moon-like pose): I'm your worst nightmare, the
Great Saiyaman Two.
NARRATOR: This is a lucky break, one of the Great Saiyamen has arrived in the
nick of time to save our Girls.
GREAT SAIYAMAN 2: Girls, get Pan and your sister and get out of here. I'll join
you as soon as I can. We need to get away and make a plan.
BLOSSOM(hesitantly): Alright. C'mon Bubbles.
CUT TO:
ALLEY
Buttercup is wrapped in Butch's ponytail whip and is being pummeled by the
Rowdyruff.
BLOSSOM & BUBBLES(together): Not so fast, Rowdyruff!
They give Butch a punch to the face causing him to let go of Buttercup.
BUTTERCUP: All right, no one does that to me!
She gets ready to charge but her sisters grab her.
BLOSSOM: No, Buttercup. Great Saiyaman told us to go home and think of a plan.
Buttercup stops struggling against Blossom and Bubbles at the mention of
Saiyaman.
BUTTERCUP: All right.
BUBBLES: We still gotta get Pan.
BUTTERCUP: Pan's here too?
BUBBLES: Yeah, now let's get outta here.
While Butch is still stunned the Girls fly off after Boomer.
CUT TO:
STREET
Great Saiyaman 2 is standing in the street in front of Brick. Saiyaman is
clearly exhausted and is breathing heavily. Brick hardly looks winded at all.
BRICK: Worst nightmare, huh? This's the best dream I've ever had.
Mojo appears behind Brick and begins laughing.
MOJO: That is a good joke. And because that was a good joke, I cannot cease
laughing. The joke was so good that my ceaseless laughing is causing my eyes to
become teary, and because my eyes are becoming filled with tears my vision is
becoming blurred and I am having trouble seeing what is right in front of me.
Brick turns and looks at Mojo with an irritated look on his face.
BRICK: Hey, Moj, ya mind? I was just gettin' ready to finish her off when you...
Brick looks at the spot where GS 2 WAS standing. She has disappeared.
BRICK: Awwwwwwwww nuts! She got away.
CUT TO:
SKY
Pan is getting pounded by Boomer. He tosses another Boomer Ball at the girl. But
this one is intercepted by three red lasers coming from Pan's left. It sends the
Ball hurtling toward the Blue Rowdyruff. Boomer's hit and falls to the ground
below. The Powerpuff Girls arrive and grab Pan, who is bruised up from Boomer's
assault.
PAN: What're you doing here, girls?
BUBBLES: Great Saiyaman Two came an' told us to get you and go to our house an'
make a plan.
PAN: So my mommy came to help too.
BLOSSOM: Your...mommy?
BUTTERCUP: Yeah, Blossom, don't'cha remember? Pan's dad told us him and Pan's
mom were Great Saiyamen 1 and 2.
BUBBLES: Oh, yeah. I remember that.
PAN: So what now?
BLOSSOM: Let's go home and see the Professor like Great Saiya...Videl said
to.(see's a worried look on Pan's face) Don't worry, Pan, your mom said she'd
come meet us when she could.(Pan brightens up, Blossom addresses all the girls)
Now, let's get out of here before the Rowdyruffs come after us.
The Girls fly off to the Utonium household.
CUT TO:
EXT. - UTONIUM HOUSEHOLD - FRONT DOOR - SUNSET
Professor Utonium stands outside the front door, a worried look on his face. He
brightens up as he sees the Girls and Pan fly to the house. His look becomes
worried again when he sees the four children. They are ragged, exhausted, and
look very beat up.
