The annoyichi Budokai is taking place at the afterworld as a ceremony for Kaio Sama's death. Each Kaio says that his fighter will win. Goku wins the matches very easily. Pikehan from the western milky way wins easily too. The fight Goku Vs Pikehan starts. They both fight well. Meanwhile, the rule of the afterworld is carried out by the Demon-Lord Daio. We are taken to the place where the souls of the dead people come first. The ones who are going to hell are first being cleaned. All the evil that comes out of the cleaning machine goes into Tanks. Anyway, the Tank boy (that changes the Tanks) is listening to music. He forgets to change the tank so it explodes. The other tanks explode too releasing all the evil that was inside. All the evil surrounds the tank boy and he becomes a giant..... baby that says "Janenba!" all the time. The "Baby" is called Janenba. The spirit world is covered by an ice-like cocoon. Daio says that it can be a great disturbance by meaning the dead will come to life. Dead people are revived, such as Romeo and Juliet.
The great Saiyaman is called to help at the situation. At the Budokai, a rock (or somethimg like that) appears and stops the match. Goku and Pikehan go to see what's happening. The demon lord tells Goku that the spirit world is taken over and tells them to free it. But, the ice-like cocoon doesn't seem to break. Daio tells them that Janenba is responsible, so they both go to him. Goku tells Pikehan to go and try to release the spirit world. Goku tells that he will be the "Playmate" of Janenba. Goku doesn't want the palace destroyed so he takes Janeba in hell to fight. Janenba does some tricks by creating little Janenbas that attack Goku. Goku kicks all the little Janenbas' ass. At the town the Great Saiyaman destroys hundreds of Zombies. As Gohan and Videl are talking someone yells "What a charming picture you two make". "Who is it?" you may ask. Well it is Freeza!!! Not only that, the Ginew force, Freeza's soldiers, Zangya and even Bojack are alive too! Anyway, Gohan defeats Freeza with one punch. The bad guys get scared and run away.

Goten and Trunks collect all the Dragonballs. Gohan asks the Dragon to return the things as they were. Shenron, unfortunately, can't grand this wish because his power is not enough for that. In the afterworld, Pikehan finds that the ice-like cocoon breaks by swearing, so he starts swearing. Still Janenba does tricks against Goku and hits Goku all the time. He is guessing Goku's hits perfectly. Not only that, but when Goku does a Kamehameha, Janenba teleports Goku in front of it and Goku gets hit! Goku turns into a Super-Saiyan. Janenba throws hundreds of fireballs from his body. After that Goku turns into Super-Saiyan 3. He attacks Janenba and creates a whole by penetrating his body. After that, Janenba becomes smaller (same size as Goku) and takes his strong and evil form. The camera goes at Goten and Trunks who are being attacked by Hitler and his army. The boys destroy some of the tanks very easily while playing with them. They turn into Super-Saiyans and surprize Hitler. A fight starts between Janenba and Goku. Goku hits Janenba for a while. Unfortunately, Janenba starts his tricks again by sending Goku's fireballs to him. Anyway, Janenba starts doing teleporting tricks and hits Goku.

Janenba creates a sword by a piece of cactus (or something). Goku avoids the sword for a while, but he gets hit at the shoulder. Janenba continues attacking Goku until he falls into a red jelly mass that becomes crystal and turns into a non Super-Saiyan because he is badly hit. As Janenba is to hit Goku, Vegeta appears and tells Goku: "For shame Kakarotto. You forgot that I said that your defeat would be at my hands.". Vegeta says that he will beat Janenba despite Goku's warnings. Janenba's sword disappears. He knocks Vegeta outta battle by doing tricks again and throws him far away. Goku grabs Vegeta and tells him that there is a plan to defeat Janenba: Fusion. Vegeta doesn't agree with that. Janenba finds them and attacks them... As Vegeta is down he cries because he is the second best after Goku even in this world. Goku and Vegeta chat and after a while Vegeta agrees to Fuse with Goku. Goku explains vegeta how he must pose is in order to do a fusion. They fuse, but Vegeta didn't extend his forefinger so their Fusion (Gogeta) was unsuccessfull. Meanwhile, the Kaios are watching the fight and are all making fun of Kaio-Sama since his fighter has done a foolish thing. Gogeta is fat and attacks by.... Farting! Janenba chases Gogeta. After 30 minutes and many unsuccessful tries, Goku and Vegeta split just a second before they are hit by a crystal, and they both hit Janenba.

Goku and Vegeta hide. Goku tells Vegeta to do it again but without mistakes. While they do the dance Janenba attacks and stops their fusion. Pikehan comes and tells them to go further and fuse while he will be keeping Janenba busy. Goku and Vegeta fuse correctly this time into Gogeta. Pikehan gets knocked outta battle. Trunks and Goten feel their fathers' power and fuse into Gotenks. Gogeta hits Janenba very easily and with style. Janenba punches Gogeta but Gogeta doesn't feel anything. Gogeta does a blast that destroyes Janenba. At Janenba's place appears the Tank boy who runs away. Gotenks , on the other hand does the ghost attack that destroys all the Hitler's army. Vegeta says Goku that they'll meet again and leaves taking his spirit form since he is dead. All the things are now normal.
