Edea in Deling City

When you first fight Edea in the Witch Parade, be on your guard. She can cast Level 3 spells. Summon Carbuncle each round and all she'll do is Dispel your Reflect. Now use GFs and magic to finish her.

Before this fight, make sure when Squall and Irvine fight the Iguions one of them draws Carbuncle from them. Equip Rinoa with Carbuncle. Give her the GF, draw, and magic commands. Give Squall and Irvine item, magic, and GF commands. Have Rinoa cast Carbuncle. Edea will use dispel. While she's busy using dispel, have Squall and Irvine attack her and heal party member's when needed. Make sure Rinoa casts Carbuncle every turn, that way Edea will be busy using dispel on your character's, she won't have time to actually attack them. The only attack she does is called Astro Punch, but it's not extremely powerful.

Edea in Galbadia Garden

Edea is a little harder. Before you can fight her, you have to deal with Seifer first. No problem. Once he's down, cast Protect, Shell, Regen, and Haste. Summoning Carbuncle each round won't really work anymore. Instead of Dispelling it, she can cast Slow and Silence. Siren's Treatment comes in handy, even if you are Silenced. Use powerful GF and magic. She'll be down soon.
