Fighting Adel is a difficult battle. All GF except for Carbuncle, Tonberry, and Cerberus CAN NOT be used because Rinoa is a part of Adel. If Rinoa dies, GAME OVER! Cast Protect, Shell, Regen, and Haste on yourselves and Regen and Shell on Rinoa. Summon Cerberus to get Double and Triple. Cast Magic that will only affect effect Adel. Cast Aura on everyone. Squall's Limit Breaks can do MAJOR DAMAGE, especially Lion Hart! After an exhausting battle, Adel is defeated and you have Rinoa again.

When you fight Seifer at the end of disc 3, there's one thing you MUST do: STOCK AURA!!!! That's all you need to prepare for this fight.
first, have someone cast regen on Rinoa. Then, cast Aura on Squall and Zell. have Zell uses duel, then follow up with Renzokuken. That's usually enough to defeat her. Don't worry if Squall uses blasting Zone or Fated Circle, as long as Adel is dead, it doesn't matter if Rinoa is or not. If you willing to take a risk and have the Mug ability, you can steal some megailixir's from Rinoa, but be sure to give someone the recover ability to heal afterwards.

FOR SQUALL, ZELL, AND QUISTIS

At the beginning of the battle, summon Cerebrus to get Double and Triple casted. With triple, cast Protect and Shell to keep down Adel's attacks. If you want, you can draw Regen from Rinoa and cast it on everyone in your party (Including Rinoa.) Keep Quistis at low health and continously use her Blue Magic Homing Laser. This should cause decent damage to Adel. If you don't have Homing Laser, your next best bet is Gatling Gun. Also have her use Mighty Guard to give you several statuses at the beginning of the battle. That way, you won't have to cast Protect and Shell. Squall should have the Mug ability equipped. Continually have him attack Rinoa WITHOUT using the trigger. Repeat this until you have stolen eight Megalixers. Then have him attack Adel using the trigger. Zell should have the Recover ability equipped. Have him use it on Rinoa while Squall is trying to steal from her. After Squall has stole the Megalixers, have him use Duel. If you decide to use a finishing Duel, make sure you use Different Beat, as it only affects Adel. The other finishers will hit Rinoa. At the end when she dies, she casts Ultima, which can cause major damage. To avoid this, cast Shell once more, just incase it wore out, then finish Adel off.
