Edea Possesses
Edea is thinking of a plan to take over Garden and the SeeDs. “I know, I have to turn one of the SeeDs against them all, I’ll giver the SeeD the power of myself,” Edea thought to herself. She was in her home. She used to be a kind person, until something happened. She doesn’t know, no one knows. She went up to her room where she had pictures of the main SeeDs and garden students, Squall, Seifer, Selphie, Quistis, Zell, Rachel, Danielle, and Katie. She pointed fingers at them to choose whom to turn against everyone, she looked as if she was playing the childish game ‘ennie meanie miney mo’, she stops and her finger lands on Katie. She laughed in her head but not allowed, she knew this would be perfect, to her Katie seemed the weakest and maybe the weakest against her hypnotism or her spell. She stopped for a moment and sat down. She would start her plan later tonight, past curfew, then she would sneak in and take Katie out while she is sleeping, and take her to her home. She feared any of her other friends waking up but then she remembered her powers and that wouldn’t happen.
It is in Balamb Garden, about curfew, everyone is getting ready to go to bed. Katie is saying good night, “Good night Danielle, Rachel, Zell, Selphie, et cetera, et cetera,” she said. Katie walked off to her dorm. All of the lights were out. Katie quickly fell asleep of the tiring day she had at the training center. Edea walked into her dorm unnoticed by anyone. She picked up Katie who was so asleep she looked as if she was in a coma. Edea walked her to her home. Katie was still asleep. She put her in a bed, in a place where she would wake up so scared she wouldn’t know what to do.
It is the next morning at Edea’s house. Katie just woke up. “WHERE IN HELL AM I?” Katie woke up frightened and alone. Edea heard the scream and came into her room. “Katie, you are mine now, you belong to me you will be under my spell,” Edea said in an almost gentle way. Katie tried to escape. “Escape is impossible my dear,” Edea said, “look into my eyes, you are one with me.” Katie looked into her eyes, she tried to shut her own but it seemed impossible to resist the hypnotism. She looked into Edea’s eyes and repeated her words, “I am one with you.” The words were like music to Edea’s ears, Katie was under her spell and no one could stop or defeat her now. Katie was practically invincible.
It is Garden everyone is waking up late. They notice Katie isn’t there, Zell decides to check it out. He knocks on her door. No answer. He runs into the door and punches it down, he walks into her room the door is left open. He uncovers the sheets and notices no one is there. He comes running out of the room, “Katie is gone.” “I bet she went to the training center,” Danielle said, “she’ll be back tomorrow.” “How can you say that we HAVE to find her,” Zell said. This brought shock to everyone he never really cared about anyone but himself. “Don’t worry,” Danielle said trying to reassure him. They walk into the classroom late. “Where were you?” Quistis asked. “We were looking for Katie,” Selphie announced to the class, “ she isn’t here.” “She called in sick,” Quistis announced, “she definitely sounded sick, she will be here tomorrow.” Everyone sits down at their computer. Danielle next to Seifer, Rachel next to Selphie, and Zell all alone where Katie usually sat. He actually missed her. He knew she liked him but could he actually like her too. He didn’t know he was as confused as ever. Danielle was in a good moon as usual and Seifer was giving her funny looks. Selphie was constantly trying to look at Rachel’s computer. Rachel was myphed at this so she was constantly trying to cover her screen. “Let me see it Rachel,” Selphie whined. Zell usually talked to Katie they both willingly share answers. He was beginning to think that he liked Katie, he wouldn’t dare tell her that though, he wouldn’t tell anyone, not like she did. I mean everyone knew she liked Zell. He sat there quiet. Danielle attempted to keep him company. “What’s up Zell?” Danielle said cheerfully. “Nothing,” Zell said glumly. He missed her and it was beginning to show.
Edea’s house, Katie is talking to Edea about their plan to destroy Garden.
“I will go in as usual,” Katie said, her voice wasn’t normal, it sounded different but only slightly. “Yes, you will act as a student like you are,” Edea spoke, “but you aren’t yourself, try not to make anyone notice.” “Yes I am part of you, I have your power, I am the NEW sorceress. A creation of Edea,” Katie said. Her voice powerful and slightly different.
Everyone is at Garden, they are walking around the building after classes, and they are talking. “If she was sick wouldn’t she still be in her dorm?” Danielle questioned. “Will you just rub it off your back Quistis said she’d be back tomorrow and she will don’t worry,” Rachel said. They walked off to their dorms, they soon all fell asleep. Katie sneaks back into her dorm. She lays down, “Ha they won’t notice, they’ll never know.” Katie thinks without going to sleep. Everyone else is awake the next morning. Katie walks out of her dorm where Selphie notices her. She runs up to meet her. “Hey Katie I heard you were sick, are you better?” Selphie asked. “I’m going to school I must be better musn’t I?” Katie’s voice still sounded weird. “Sorry I had laryngitis,” Katie said then walked to Instructor Trepe’s classroom. Quistis stands up and talks to the class. It’s obvious that no one is paying attention. Zell turns to Katie and smiles. “What are you looking at me like that, like I care if you care that I’m back,” Katie said with a evil glitch in her voice. This is unusual, Zell thought, Katie usually would smile and say hi. Something is wrong with her and I can hear it in her voice and see it in her eyes. Katie is looking on the computer. Her eyes are black she sees her reflection in the screen of the computer, she notices her black eyes. She doesn’t believe anyone will notice.
After class, everyone is walking in the halls. Zell runs to meet Danielle. “Danielle, can you sense Katie she isn’t acting normal?” Zell asked Danielle with pity. “Zell will you stop worrying? If this will make you feel better I will,” Danielle answered with defiance, she didn’t want to but she did. Danielle senses Katie it reads: Sorceress HP 2,000 No Weakness can be identified. This is one of Edea’s creatures.
“OH MY GOD!” Danielle thought out loud. “What?” Zell asked. “She’s pocessed by Edea,” Danielle was worried now. She couldn’t tell how couldn’t she. Everyone comes running over to the pair talking. “What was hell was that obnoxious ‘OH MY GOD’ for? I’d really like to know,” Rachel said with zeal in her voice. “Katie is a sourceress! That’s what!” Danielle shouted practically in Rachel’s ear. “I was able to hear you until you screamed in my ear,” Rachel said with a smart tint in her voice. “What should we do? She is one of Edea’s creatures we have to kill her,” Danielle said. “NO! Don’t kill her, just make it so she is no longer under the spell,” Zell said with a certain sweetness in his voice. “Zell IS right, we can’t kill her imagine what Quis would do? Yeah kill a fellow Garden student, NO ONE would approve,” Rachel said wisely. Danielle began to approach Katie. “Katie,” Danielle said to her. Katie turned around, she gave Danielle a glare. “What do you want?” Katie asked her face was different, eyes black not blue like usual. “We uh noticed you’ve been acting differently today,” Danielle said with a shaky voice, she was obviously. “Nothing is wrong with me,” Katie’s voice was loud. Danielle straightened up. “All right EDEA you aren’t fooling anyone, you can come out now, miss sorceress,” Danielle said. Katie turned to Danielle. “I AM NOT Edea!” Katie shouted. “Yes you are you are a sorceress,” Danielle said. “So you figured it our faster then I thought you would. I am one with Edea, you won’t defeat me, her powers and mine are combined. We are an invincible two,” Katie said steadily as if she said it several times before as practice. Rachel and Zell came running over to Katie. “Don’t make yourself look so tough, you are only a Garden student I am a SeeD,” Rachel said, “Zell you have anything else today?” Zell didn’t talk, Danielle looked into Zell’s eyes they showed something she didn’t spot before in him. “Are you okay Zell?” Danielle asked. Zell didn’t talk she could tell something was wrong with him. Then he spoke, “I am sorry, I’ll help you. You will most likely need it.” “So you dare to try and challenge the powers of a sorceress,” Katie said. The Boss Music from FF8 plays. Danielle senses Katie right away. It reads as it did before: Sorceress 2,000 HP No weakness “NO WEAKNESS! ARGH!” Danielle said. “I told you I was invincible,” Katie said. Katie lifts her hands up and casts Fira which comes from her weapon on Zell. It only takes of 500 hp. “Hey,” Zell said. He runs to Katie and punches her three times. It only takes off 300 HP! Katie punches Danielle 5 times it takes off 1,000 Danielle has 50 HP left. Rachel casts Curaga on Danielle her HP are fully restored. Danielle uses instant victory on Katie. It takes off 1000 HP. Katie cures her self by 400 HP. Zell casts Fira on Katie. It takes off 600 HP. Katie is on her limit break she does Elumia Listening. She attacks Danielle, Rachel, and Zell she knocks Danielle out and Rachel and Zell are poisioned. Rachel gets up and casts Firaga on Katie and Katie falls down weak. Zell cures everyone and he, Danielle, and Rachel walk over to Katie. She is fallen down and almost dead. Katie’s spell is wearing off. “I was over taken by Edea, she has amazing powers not someone you don’t want to get in a heated discussion with. I was hypnotized bye her,” Katie spoke softly. Zell comes up to Katie and cures her completely. “I am sorry for all the trouble I caused. I don’t want this to happen again,” Katie said. Quistis comes walking over to the group. She sees Katie. “Okay, I’ll see you all tomorrow,” she said then left.
